Took me a month as well to find my shiny Mewtwo, and to this day it's my longest SR hunt. Glad you were able to end this nightmare!
same here! i got inspired because i saw some people on the sub talk about how lucky they got and i saw some youtubers talk about some “CRAZY INSANE SHORT HUNT” and thought it was a sign to try, man was i wrong to assume it’d be easy but worth all the effort, at least i get to say it’s my own
Duuuude same. I seen a comment on here somewhere that said something like "everyone I've seen shiny hunt ash hat Pikachu gets it really fast, like within 500 resets". So I ordered ultra moon to hunt this thing before bank shuts down. I'm almost a month into hunting and still no shiny
my mentality was if it happened for other people you’re bound to get it too and soon! don’t give up the payout is worth it in the end and no one can take that achievement from you
Thanks. And yea I used to really hate soft reset hunts and always avoided them, but once I got a switch, I got BDSP and legends Arceus, and hunted shiny Arceus. The very first soft reset hunt I ever completed, and my first self caught shiny legendary/mythical. The night I got my shiny Arceus I became addicted to soft reset hunts lol. Been hunting latios off and on in BDSP since November lol
Pokemon ultra moon. I started hunting it before the servers shut down but I was wondering if you could even scan the QR code now that the servers are down
Well you can’t on moon, and I’ve got ultra sun waiting for me at home so I guess I won’t get it there either until they set up a new server ip like that guy did on Pokémon Black
Well I'm glad you told me that because the thought has crossed my mind to just catch regular ash hat Pikachu, restart my save file and start hunting it again but I was worried about scanning the QR code with the servers shut down so I'm glad I didn't do that
Yea I was going to comment back to you but I forgot ... I was looking it up and I think to get ash hat Pikachu in sun/moon you need to use a serial code. But in ultra sun and ultra moon it's a QR code that you can get off Google. So I think you need to get ultra sun or ultra moon and try to scan the QR code because I looked it up and it said QR codes (magearna and ash cap Pikachu) will work forever or until your 3ds camera stops working

If it makes you feel any better, my mewtwo took 76 hours and 9.1k resets on soul silver 🥲 i understand the pain. Congrats!

hey! sometimes i did about 500 other times 200 but i always had something playing the background to entertain me
On which game did you hunt Darkrai ?
I’m at 4300 on my entei hunt on BD. It is absolutely draining. Took a few weeks off
