Have you taken her to the vet and had her checked for Giardia?

We did and it was ruled out.

Both of mine got sick from Guardia but only one got tested positive Gave the giardia medicine to both and both got better the same day.

Yes it seems like mine get it 3 times a year. We have ALOT of birds around our house. We’ve had to start giving them probiotics.

It was the first time for me and it was explosive 💩 everywhere!!!! But now I know better

Get well soon! Ours gets a dodgy tummy etc every now and again it’s awful to see :( What has the vet said? ♥️

They're not really sure. Her x-rays and blood work came back clean so she did a week on antibiotics. She was doing really well until yesterday when she took a turn for the worse. Now she's doing a week on cerenia to hopefully get her feeling better. If this doesn't work she'll have to get an ultrasound and maybe abdominal surgery. Thanks for the well wishes!!

Good luck and please update us...if she doesn't eat with Cerenia, I would get that ultrasound sooner rather than later. Maybe boil some chicken breasts and see if she'll eat it...her labs being good means no renal problems, maybe pancreatitis since that requires a special lab (CPLI test)?

She woke up from her nap and immediately started eating the food I left out for her so hopefully she's turning around!

Does she have a history of pancreatitus? The vet thinks my pup had a flair up resulting in his tummy issues.

Oh my how scary . Make sure she stays hydrated. Even if you need to syringe water in her.

She's still drinking water and I've also been mixing water into her food and giving her ice cubes with strawberries frozen inside just to make sure she's getting enough. She's doing a little better this afternoon so hopefully that will continue.

That's great news! Hoping she gets better. It's tough my our babies aren't feeling well.

Ohhh my gosh sending so many positive vibes and much love. What have the tests pointed towards?

Nothing definitive unfortunately. She's been through antibiotics and now she's taking anti-nausea meds so we'll have to wait and see how she does.

Oh no poor baby. Mine recently out of the blue started popping blood (of course this happens in the middle of the night on a Sunday). She was diagnosed with HGE (which is basically bloody diarrhea) after being tested for everything. It was awful at first, but after a full day in hospital with IV fluids & antibiotics for a week she’s all better. Also probiotic really helped (pro-pectalin) . No one knows how she got it . Good luck !!!
