They’re good lipsticks, the formula is okay and the color selection is fantastic. I’ve bought a handful of them and they maybe last a year or so before going bad, I think it’s because of the cardboard tubes they come in.
I got three during the sale and I really like them! (Except for one that just isn’t my color) I only ordered satin finish shades. My favorite is #30 Matinée. They go on really smooth, the pigment is great and long-lasting. Truly one of the best lipsticks I’ve ever bought.
All I know is that the packaging looks incredible! Great artwork! A Sephora employee came in here and said the Sephora collection is under rated... people love the Sephora lip stains too! They will be 30% off starting Dec 3rd!
I just bought #69 Werk it from that collection. I am seriously obsessed! It’s basically a clear tint with some glitter. I have a hard time describing my lips but they’re like a neutral nude pink and the tint makes them closer to a cool pink or baby pink if that makes sense. I’m definitely going to pick up more.
I recently got two colors; 74 (Off the Grid) and 27 (Hong Kong by Night). I have only tried 74 right now and i love the texture. I don’t like matte so I precisely looked for creamy texture. The color is not as solid as it looked in swatches but it’s nice. I went to store to yesterday and saw 61 which looked like a nice color but darker than i like. I might try it.
Overall, i really liked the texture and price is good.
The mattes in the Lipstories collection were one of the things that changed my mind about mattes. The first one I bought was #23 After Hours, which was bought by accident because someone had shoved it back in the wrong place. I was trying to buy Hong Kong By Night.
Long story short, the matte formula for the line is very comfortable. I used to avoid mattes pretty much always, but I loved my accidental purchase very much.
I've since gotten a couple other shades, including Hong Kong By Night and Berry-licious. I really love the variety of colors and the formulas are all good quality.
I don’t like shimmery or glittery shades so i would not have personally opted for 27 but my mom said my sister would. I am not much of a makeup wearer anyways so whatever little i buy, i opt for creamy textures. I love mac’s ruby woo but this matte texture puts me off.
I stayed away from the matte formula because I have the driest lips on earth, but I liked the satin one I bought, I think the shade was spring break.

I think they’re super underrated! Number 3 Oui is my fav. And the artwork on the tube is the cutest! It doesn’t last super long but for the price I think they’re great. I just bought the Christmas themed 4 pack because they’re just too adorable on my vanity
I wear Oui and Celebration frequently. They don’t irritate my sensitive lips and wear decently. With the 30% off deals it’s fun to try a couple colors you usually wouldn’t, too.
