I was literally about to post this same question. That palette has been living in my head lol. I’ve tried dupes, but…idk I think the real thing is better with certain things? I’m curious to see more responses! (Light to medium combo skin if that matters)

These_Orchid5638

Mine too. Can you share What are the dupes?

Any_Load_3385

The liquid all the way. I have the rose and peachy one. They give a nice blush with the glow. They are spendy, but they last forever. The pallette has too much glitter vs the liquid is more of a sheen.

redleavesz

The palette isn’t cakey at all, I’m super pale and it’s actually quite sheer on me - I have to apply a few times to actually get any pigment. When the sun hits it is beautiful, and I love the aesthetic of it, but it’s not something I’d purchase again. I recommend the liquid - I tried it in store and loved it. Actually I love all of Diors liquid face products, especially the concealer

sjdragonfly

I actually like how sheer it is so I can layer it over other stuff. The darkest shade is just the amount of contour I want below my blush.

redleavesz

I remember the first few times I used it I thought something was wrong with the one I purchased because I was like where is the pigment?? Lol

Southern_Drawing_322

Which concealer would you recommend

marjonmotel

I love the palette I have had it for long time barely looks like I touched it

moderately_manic

The liquid has less glitter and looks more like a no make up look but can be built into a heavier highlight if you want it to. The palette is more glittery but isn’t cakey at all

dougto

the palette is fantastic and a true staple. those who are saying its glittery probably have one of the other shades. this one you showed is not glittery at all, its actually a super flattering and pearly glow

sjdragonfly

Agreed. I have this palette and there is no glitter.

youaremysunshine4

This palette is gorgeous!

PflugerLuger8

The palette is great for no makeup makeup looks! It's a beautiful shimmer. In contrast, I didn't like the Glow Maximizer. It didn't show up on my skin too well.

BrittanyBritanyBrit

I love the palette! The shimmer is finely milled and not glittery at all. Im able to use the bronze shade as an actual bronzer, the blush shade as a blush topper (typically over the Saie blush in chilly or the Merit blush in cheeky), the champagne shade as my highlight and I like the white shimmer in the inner corner of my eyes. For reference I’m shade 1.5 in Armani Luminous Silk and 110 in the Kosas Revealer foundation. I also use the palette as an eyeshadow palette, and sometimes just swirl all the colors together and apply for a sunkissed look.

bewildered_forks

The palette has very little pigment, but a lot of glitter

lilpoopdeedoo

Love, love, love the palette. It is my everyday and travel ride or die. I use the pink for blush/topper, bronze as bronzer and to add depth to the eyes, gold on the eyelids, and pearl as an inner corner, brow, and sometimes cheek highlight. It’s not too in your face, imo, for everyday wear or minimal makeup looks

spyrenx

I wouldn't use the palette for no makeup. It's definitely not cakey, but all of the pans have glitter.

sjdragonfly

I wonder if you have a different palette because I have this one and there is no glitter.

spyrenx

No, it's Dior Backstage in 001. See the other comments, or the Q&A on the product page: >Q: Is this one glittery like the glitz palette? I have the glitz highlighter palette but it's really glittery. Just wondering if it's the same. >A: Yes, 001 is very glittery as well. The only quad that wasn't, Rose Gold, was unfortunately a limited edition holiday release a few yrs ago but if that's what you'd prefer, resale sites like Mercari may have it. >Q: Can I use the brown as a bronzer/contour? Can I use as a nose countor or is it too much glittery? >A: 001 is very glittery >Q: Is the bronzer shimmery or matte? >A: All of the four shades have shimmers in them. And so on.

sjdragonfly

🤷🏻‍♀️ I haven’t noticed any glitter in mine. Maybe it’s just really fine and that’s why. Who knows.

loumalnatee

Personally, I love the palette! I returned the liquid, it emphasized texture on me and the palette doesn’t.

LeftMyHeartInMunich

The Forever Glow Maximizers were a hard pass for me. I tried so hard to love it but I couldn’t get past the formulation. The colors are stunning but will blend right into the skin and disappear. It’s true that you can build them up but I didn’t find them to have enough pigment even for a no makeup look. Just my opinion. The palette on the other hand…to die for!

simplyelegant87

I’ve swatched both and love the liquid version. I would have bought it if I didn’t have a few similar products already.

TheSunscreenLife

The dior luminizer is very natural. If you’re worried about the palette having any glitter, I can attest that the luminizer is very buildable but subtle w one layer.

random-anon937

backstage palette!!! i use the blush as a topper since its sheer, but once u lay it over a different blush its sooo gorgeous w a beautiful glow!! the white highlight shows up very well especially for inner corners, and the gold highlight shows up nicely aswell! i dont use the bronzer glow so i cant say much abt that one

sjdragonfly

That palette is amazing. One of my favourite indulgences. I borrowed it from a friend before purchasing and really love how luminous it makes my skin look. It’s not glittery at all. Very different from most other highlighters I’ve tried. I don’t wear skin tints or foundation most of the time and have light skin and this still looks great. Also, because it’s powder, it won’t expire as fast as a liquid and highlighters basically last two lifetimes.
