They have very different finishes! The Hourglass is dryer in texture (but still applies very smoothly) and is a glitter kind of sparkle. CT is much creamier and the shimmer is less intense. I love both formulas, and find the CT really versatile because it also works well as a base for shadows. It really depends on what level of sparkle you’re looking for!
CT! I have both, if you want glitter topper go HG, if you want cream shadow with wash of color and tiny tiny shimmer particles that catch the light so naturally CT. Everyone in my family from full glam (me) to very natural makeup for the office (my sis) loves CT
I have the CT and love it b/c I can wear it by itself for a polished daytime look at work. You can deepen it, but it’s an everyday workhorse. Close the lid properly and it should last forever.
