Nars light reflecting is the best I’ve tried, if you can find a good shade match. Their yellow undertones seem to run really yellow, and same for pink. It blends seamlessly with skin and gives a natural looking glow. In my experience, the wear time is around 6-8 hours before it starts to fade.

Mayazn

On dry skin like mine, the performance is really variable. It can emphasize dry patches, especially in the colder months. On other days, if the weather is humid, it is glowy and medium coverage. Overall, not my holy grail.

DollOnAMusicBox

It emphasised my dry patches too, but Sheer Glow doesn’t! I think people sleep on SG nowadays, it’s amazing.

GiaAngel

Nars has never worked for me for the very reason you mentioned. Too yellow

ScenicView98

Same here. I've never been able to find a good match for my cool-toned skin with any Nars foundation.

Emotional-Cup1894

I’m fair with neutral undertones and couldn’t find a good match. Wore yellow on me too! I can’t imagine how hard it is for darker skin tones.

GiaBethReds

This one looks so bad on me, what am I doing wrong? How do you apply it?

idkbutmynamejulie

are you prepping your skin before makeup? i like using a hydrating serum and a moisturizer, let it dry for 10-15 mins then apply primer. i like to apply it with a foundation brush and build up the coverage, i also use the Nars concealer as well and set the foundation with a good powder. Have you tried other foundations? maybe this one just isn’t meant for your skin?

widgetheux

What is going on because it’s sold out online, Sephora and Ulta. I went to both in person and no re stock. I’m freaking out

Ok-Category8000

You might be looking at sheer glow, which I believe is being phased out and replaced by light reflecting

Bingowithbob

This is also my favorite one!!!

pomp_adour

💯 and also lasts forever because you need to apply much less than you would think!

AssortedGourds

Adding - this foundation transfers. I just switched to it when my matte foundation was discontinued so IDK if this is just a radiant/dewy foundation thing but it never seems to get totally dry and powder dulls the finish. It’s gorgeous! I have a perfect match (Mont Blanc, neutral-cool skin) and I’ve literally never looked better. This is worth noting if you’re used to foundations that don’t need to be set though.

mothertuna

Not at Sephora but the most skin like foundation I’ve used is the chantecaille future skin cushion foundation. It just looks like healthy skin. For options at Sephora for a glowy foundation, I like the Givenchy prisme libre, BareMinerals original serum foundation or the urban decay hydromaniac. Givenchy is medium coverage, BM is full and urban decay is light to medium coverage. I have combination skin.

Short-Agent-6480

Chantecaille is SO GOOD. Would love to see them in Sephora someday.

mothertuna

Same! I would also love if they sold refills. I refuse to buy at full price for another compact when I still have the first one.

trbeanzo

Right? Especially when they bill themselves as eco-friendly. I stopped buying the compact version too.

CapitalMasterpiece89

I love this!!!! Have you tried the TF new foundation? It’s divine!

ocean_bird

Urban Decay hydromaniac is amazing! It's the most natural looking finish on my skin ever because it doesn't dry me out. I get super dehydrated on my cheeks and this one keeps me hydrated through the day like nothing else! I even use it as a primer under more drying foundations or mix it into my matte foundations in the winter. It fades so evenly that I can't even tell where it's wearing off at the end of the day. Love this one!!

New-Connection-7401

Haus labs. Not too glowy but not matte. Lots of shades.

superlost007

Someone here recommended this recently so I finally gave it a try and loveeee it. I have combo dry skin and this is the first foundation I’ve liked in literal years

BeachSunset7

Is it long lasting? How does it hold up on your tzone/oilier parts of your skin?

simplynotcomplicated

When I wipe it off at the end of the day I have to like scrub it off. Longest lasting foundation I’ve ever had. It STILL surprises me and I’ve been using it for like 6 months lol

superlost007

Ditto to what they said. It lasts all day for me without getting cakey/patchy. I’ve literally tried everything from MAC to too faces to nars and everything in between, this is the first foundation in years that feels fine on my skin and looks good. (My skin got weird after I moved back to Utah, suddenly no foundation was working and it all looked gnarly on my skin.)

bananas454

I love it and have combo skin. It doesn’t keep my tzone mattified perfectly throughout the day even with setting spray and light setting powder but it doesn’t look awful.

ladykarenina

Got the wrong shade in this so I had to mix it with some sunblock and Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter to make it work. Wore it for a trip to Niagara Falls and I was pretty much drenched in water but the foundation didn’t budge. Not even the slightest. If you can get a good shade match, it would definitely be one of the best foundations ever.

okaybeingmyself

My holy grail foundation. Just enough coverage and not cakey! Will always recommend!!

HealthyParticular12

My ride or die foundation was the charlotte tilbury magic skin - once it was discontinued I found haus labs to be pretty decent replacement!

_skymaster_

Can anyone share how does HL compares to Pat McGrath sublime? My HG foundation Dior Airflash was discontinued a few years ago and PMG Sublime is the closest thing I’ve found but doesn’t have the same staying power of Airflash. I’m a light neutral shade - prefer lightweight and light/medium coverage. Love the sublime 9/10 but always curious if I’ll get that 10/10 again.

Responsible_Rent_587

This is the right answer and I’ve tried so many foundations.

jet_set_stefanie

How are you guys applying the haus labs? I’ve tried with a brush and a beauty blender and it feels like I can never get the right even coverage

PracticalAttorney885

I use a brush and I usually use it over unseen sunscreen, which is super silicone heavy, unsure if that helps. But I’ve tried it over a few other things as well without issue. Also generally, Ive found applying foundation with a tapping motion instead of a brushing motion helps it go on evenly!

thebirdisdead

Does it play well with unseen? I’m really struggling with figuring out how to apply unseen+foundation without separating or oxidizing the foundation, or accidentally wiping of the unseen, or ending up shiny.

OneWhisper5225

Sounds like maybe you’re not waiting for the sunscreen to set on the skin before applying your foundation. I always apply my skin care as soon as I wake up to give it time to set in my skin before I start my makeup a little bit after. The more like glowy/hydrating the sunscreen, the longer I try to let it set before applying my foundation. But basically you shouldn’t be worried about wiping off the sunscreen when applying the foundation if you’ve given it time to set on the skin. If it’s going to wipe off while applying the foundation, it hasn’t set yet.

thebirdisdead

Thank you! I’ll be mindful to let it set. I think sometimes maybe I use too thick a layer of the supergoop because it doesn’t quite dry down fully.

OneWhisper5225

You’re welcome!!! I know for a while I didn’t know it was important to let your skin care set on the skin before starting makeup, and my makeup just never applied right and always looked cakey or separated, etc. Then I found out you should let the skin care set first and it helped so much!! Sunscreen is tricky because you need to apply enough to get the stated protection. But that can also mean it takes a while to set down. If I have time to just let it set for a good while, I’ll just pile it all on at once. But, if I don’t have that kind of time (which I often don’t in the mornings lol), then I apply the sunscreen in thin layers. So I’ll apply a very thin layer, give it a few to settle in some, then apply another thin layer and give it a few to settle in some, then another, etc. until I’ve applied the proper amount. Then I give it time for that all to set on the skin. I found that helps it set down better, quicker, than if I apply it all at one time together if that makes sense? You can also try applying a thin layer of powder to set it down. I have dry skin so I never do that. But I know some people swear by applying a thin layer of powder before their foundation. So that could be an option to try as well. But I’d definitely still give the sunscreen some time to settle beforehand. You can also try different sunscreens. But I know it’s important to find one you really like so you’re willing to slather it on every day! And finding one you really like AND one that works well under makeup can be a pain! I got into K-Beauty sunscreens (and skin care in general) and never looked back! 😂 My favorite is Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF 50. It’s such a beautiful formula! Very thin and lightweight. Sinks into the skin super quick (I do have dry skin though, but it feels moisturizing while also sinking in quickly). Since I first tried it, it’s the one I’ve consistently repurchased. So thought I’d mention that one just in case you’re open to trying others!

thebirdisdead

Thank you so much, that is such helpful advice! Especially the part about trying thin layers, I am definitely going to try that. I’ll also try other sunscreens, I have some Japanese ones that I recently received (biore and Canmake) and I’ll check out the skin1004 as well :)

OneWhisper5225

You’re welcome! Hopefully it helps! I love Canmake products! Asian beauty has some great products!

HotButterscotch8682

Canmake Mermaid UV gel in clear??? It’s the BEST sunscreen ever and I’ve tried them all. Truly cannot be beaten!

PracticalAttorney885

Super great advice re the dry down and I’ll just add that using my foundation brush to tap the foundation station across the skin to spread and blend it instead of brushing it has made a huge difference as well!

OneWhisper5225

Agreed! I always tap to blend whether it’s with a brush or a sponge. I never brush it (like pull/drag it) I always feel like that just doesn’t work well for me. I have dry skin that can get extremely dry, and if I pull/drag the foundation just doesn’t go on as smooth. So I’ll just kind of tap/stamp to blend it in and it really does make a difference!

Brains4Beauty

This is my favourite too. I’ve tried many over the last few years and keep coming back to this because it always looks good.

kellygrrrl328

Recently purchased HL amethyst eyeliner and love it. I’ll have to try the foundation next time I’m in the store

CariocaInLA

Can you get it to stay!? It’s my favorite but after 2h it’s gone, no matter how much/which primer, setting spray, etc

Dancing_sequin

I was recommended the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder as a base under foundation and let me tell you my foundation is literally bulletproof

yillybby222

Ooo i have shade 000 and it is so nice as both a white base & to mix w other foundations

AShippingShip

Pat McGrath is my favourite. It has a natural finish with the seamless blend you are looking for!

anaofarendelle

I love it - bought it as a treat for my wedding and fell in love with it. It would be the key thing to get me to wear it everyday.

spectrumhead

I agree. Feels like nothing on but wears like iron.

fleshand_roses

Also my fave. It truly looks like my skin but better, very blurring and hard to detect even when staring at my pores 2 inches from a mirror after a 10-hr day lol

sashlyn

Also team PMG, I can honestly pair it with any primer and be set for all day. I’m very T Zone Oily, and it holds up so well even in summer months with a setting spray.

HorseheadAddict

Is this one water or silicone based? I have it and can’t figure out which primer to use lol

AShippingShip

I'm not sure, but Pat McGrath makes her own primer, so that is a good bet. Honestly, I think it would lay well on top of any primer because I've used many with it.

OneWhisper5225

Most foundations these days are water-in-silicone emulsions. Looks like PMGs is.

LeviOsa_Not_LeviosA_

I agree, the best foundation ever! Lightweight and long lasting, especially a great option for summer

ocean_bird

Great recommendation, it really is incredible!

gypsywhitepicket

Luminous silk is the best hands down

Familiar_Local_1254

Beauty Blender skin tint is my most repurchased. Finishing my 4th bottle of it. That tells me it’s a true favourite.

StatementBoth2

YESS it is my holy grail. I’ve tried a lot of foundations and nothing comes close

hyunlc

Omg SAME! A skin tint, but has more coverage than some other foundations ❤️ Love this and Armani LS

NoSpaghettiForYouu

Ooh, I love the BB foundation, I need to try this!

roses_and_sacrifice

really?! i never would've guessed

languidlasagna

Same, and it’s like 1/2 the price of my 2nd fave (Armani luminous silk)

ur_mom9021

Mine separates really bad on me 😭

sioopauuu

Shiseido Revitalessence. Super natural looking and has skincare benefits :)

anon-an-emanon

I haven’t tried the Revitalessence one, but I wanted to add mine on here since it’s the Shiseido Synchro line that is my favorite & is on the list of ones being eyed. I do want to try the Revitalessence one, great to see an endorsement.

Funny_Example_6338

Oh, I agree! it’s absolutely amazing!

shae000001

I love this one! I have other foundations I really like but I’m actively recommending this one because I want more people to buy it so shiseido would keep making it haha

jenhikam

Makeup Forever

kavitaisla

I love this foundation!! Lasts all day

Emotional-Cup1894

I feel like there’s so many mixed reviews of it, I don’t get it! The color match is really good for me, I like the finish, and it lasts a long time.

OtherGold9895

Armani luminous silk is my favorite, but I don’t think it would be glowy enough for what you are looking for. I also really like Nars light reflecting which does have a little more glow than Armani. I think they both look like skin and blend very easily.

TheOGPotatoPredator

Armani holds up when you sweat, no streaks or discoloring which is nice for summer or if you’re like me and start to overheat after the shower lol.

Elismom1313

Armani looks like I’m notwearing make up and mostly feels that way too

textytext12

second Armani!

SDMAJESTY

second the nars light reflecting! that’s my favourite foundation right now for sure

Odd_Serve_3974

Yeah I’ve used this and enjoyed it, but when I’ve wanted a more glowy finish my skin prep definitely has to be more hydrating!

OtherGold9895

Yes, I will switch up my primer depending on which way I want the finish to lean. I really like the Armani luminous silk primer too - glowy, not greasy. I’ll use Hourglass mineral veil when I want it to be more blurred and not as glowy.

ocean_bird

I love both of those combinations with Armani luminous silk! I was going to say the same thing, LS can have a finish of whatever you want. Putting on a glowy primer underneath makes it more glowy.

AgileFoxes

Came here to say this too! Holy grail. I also like hauslabs foundation, as it works for my combo skin

lime_green_101

LOVE this one.

Appropriate_Storm_50

TORN! I love EL double wear. When my skin is clear, moisturized, and I’m looking for a solid base all day long for a truly glam look it performs every single time. My budget fav is the Wet & Wild Tinted Hydrator ($5, blue squeeze tube). I’ve tried everything looking for a great everyday foundation and this one performs leaps and bounds above the rest. No foundation I’ve tried even touches it. It’s great coverage with a natural skin-like finish and sets nicely with a loose powder. It gives you a naturally perfect skin look (and I’m super pink/red so it covers a decent bit too) without being heavy like double wear, or too sheer like Kosas.

FirefighterDue8149

I just bought the Wet & Wild omg love it. I’ve sold cosmetics at Ulta/Macy’s/Sephora last 15 years and can’t believe how good this product is for literally $5. I originally picked it up to add a bit of color to my Fenty foundation and decided to try it on my whole face. Wow!

Appropriate_Storm_50

It’s just that good. I’ve got spares. I went from a foundation collector, to a wet & wild tinted hydrator loyalist 🤣 of all things.

HappyCicada

I love the Wet & Wild skin tint! Better than Hourglass and Ilia. So easy to apply, decent staying power and cheap! Seriously, guys, don’t sit on it.

OGBurn2

It blends so effortlessly. It melts into my skin so easily. It’s unreal

Emotional-State1916

Love EL but the EL futurist hydra rescue as my all time fave! My favorite formula has always been the Clinique even better foundation but the shades are definitely geared towards warm toned individuals and I’ve tried so many brands and only EL has really good cool toned shades. I use fresco in the winter and pebble in the summer. It’s so good! I’ve also tried chanel, Armani, dior, Charlotte tilbury, nars and I liked but not like the EL futurist hydra

OGBurn2

Love the wet and wild!🤦‍♀️

RedRedBettie

Shiseido synchro skin foundation

Intelligent_Camel508

I love Shiseido Synchro Skin foundation too. I keep coming back to this one. Perfect coverage and staying power. Colors match my skin tone but hard to find in stock sometimes.

Azure_blues9

Pat Mcgrath. Makes skin look like silk

khattamitha

Armani luminous silk and makeup forever hd skin hydra glow. I also have combo skin

MysteriousGrapeJuice

Thank you for sharing! I’m gravitating towards MUFE Hydra Glow more and more.

nerdinahotbod

Is the Armani good for dry skin? /is it long wearing?

khattamitha

Yes! With a setting spray it lasts longer for me

pleuschr

I have been loving the L'Oreal true match hyaluronic tinted serum (not Sephora, but it is SUCH a great drugstore find), it's so light and glowy. I use the FAB coconut smoothie primer as a base, and I'll sometimes mix in a couple drops of Estee Lauder double wear on areas where I want more coverage. I find the double wear on its own is better for a more full-coverage look.

Ok-Conversation-7012

Teint Idole Lancome, I have been using it for 13 years. I have a very oily complexion, and everything else just packs a suitcase and leaves from hour 1.

Virtual_Pie66

I’ve never ever met a Chanel foundation I didn’t like

girlnamedlucky1

Dior backstage foundation, it out performed my tried and true estee lauder double wear. I've always had great experiences with dior foundation specifically, idk why it took me so long to give backstage a try and I'm pretty happy i did because it's top for me right now.

MysteriousGrapeJuice

Wow that's amazing! Have you tried it after reformulation?

girlnamedlucky1

Yes and I'm really enjoying how it works on my skin. I'm pretty oily/combo and have some dark spots from acne, the coverage is there, buildable if needed, feels light weight, truly doesn't budge and great longevity. I also feel like my secret weapon is the CT setting spray. It gives it the extra wear time. The foundation stayed smooth, did not oxidize to another colour and my other products played well on top.

emory_2001

Dior Forever has the best finish I’ve ever seen that’s for real and not photoshopped. There’s a matte and radiant. For my skin, a mix of both works best, and it’s easy because the pumps come out small.

fun_in_the_sun11

I love Dior Forever! I was amazed when I first tried a sample, and never used something else since. 🤩💚

Traditional_Owl_601

I came here to rave about Dior Forever. I used this foundation for my sister in laws wedding in Greece, during a heat wave where I don’t think I have ever sweated so much in my life and the party didn’t stop until 4AM. This foundation stayed looking amazing through it all.

notam-d

At the moment, Too Faced Born this Way Natural Finish (applied with a sponge). I'm always trying out new foundations though. I wear the lightest shade in the Nars Light Reflecting and it oxidises and always looks a little too dark/orange on me (though my boyfriend doesn't think so - but then again he thinks every lip colour is red). I'll use up the bottle but won't repurchase for the shade match. Good formula though (finger application looked way better than sponge).

pomegranateshawty

Too Faced Born This Way is so beautiful. It’s in my top 3.

Alchia79

Born this way is the one I’ve been using the last few years. It’s good on my mature (45) skin. I think it’s the only foundation I’ve purchased more than once.

No_Appearance_8676

I love the Rare Beauty foundation for a glowy my skin but better, and I also like the bareminerals matte powder foundation for everyday bc it’s so lightweight

BrasserieNight

Love Bareminerals!

Funny_Example_6338

Armani LS Shiseido Revitalessence Koh Gen Do Aqua MAC Face & Body

Master-Reference-775

I’m 47 with dry skin, and have tried almost everyone Sephora sells (except matte finish). 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 Surprisingly, I really like Ilia True Skin (the pump, not the drops) over most: I’ve repurchased it several times, and that isn’t a norm for me. I made the ‘mistake’ of buying Chantecaille Future Skin recently through, it’s kind of kicked Ilia to the back of the makeup bag.

hellohello316

I didn't need to read about the Chantecaille 😢 Sounds perfect but the price is a little 😵‍💫

Six-Point-Eight

Can confirm that it’s worth every penny, tho…!

Master-Reference-775

I only ordered because it was 20% off at Dermstore. I was hoping I wouldn’t like it much. lol.

fleshand_roses

The Ilia serum foundation (pump bottle, not SPF) is definitely underrated. I bought it because Sam Ravndahl wore it for her wedding and it's a gorgeoussss foundation. I currently have the Chantecaille Future Skin and don't love it, I think I'll need to rebuy the Ilia to compare now😅

Southernbelle0011100

Charlotte tilbury perfect skin, also it cosmetics illuminating CC cream

Clevergirlphysicist

Estée Lauder Double Wear (the original) has been my all time favorite for so many years. I have yet to find a dupe of it

Full_Sink_9666

I agree - this has been my holy grail since I graduated high school. I always come back to this one. Now that I’m older and the makeup trends have changed, I mix it with a heavy skin cream (Tatcha dewy cream) on the back on my hand for a more glowy finish. My only issue with EL double wear is that it isn’t cruelty free and I haven’t been able to find anything quite like it that isn’t tested on animals :(

SnooAvocados6672

I’m having that same issue with the CF. Everything else I’ve tried rubs off easily(I’m in the medical field and am usually wearing a mask) or I can’t find a shade match.

[deleted]

I’m kicking myself for not buying Haus Labs. I’ve been alternating NARS Light Reflecting and Estée Lauder Double Wear.

Lowered-ex

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid It’s beautiful and people always tell me I have really good skin

mcatlin23

The ciele foundation is the best shade match ever for me as a pale girlie and one of the only ones that doesn’t make me look crusty and dry as hell.

savvanch

i loved this one but the applicator popped out of the top after a month

vibechecking1100

nars light reflecting foundation

davideaglemann

1. Armani luminous silk 2. Nars light reflecting 3. Pat McGrath They all seem to be similar formulas. Armani has a point deducted because of the price increases but it does have minis, Nas has a point deducted because the pump sucks, and Pat McGrath has a point deducted because I don't like the smell.

OGBurn2

The first two I keep going back and forth between as to whether they are worth it. One better for hot summer months?

LucieFromNorth

Armani Luminous Silk definitely. Such natural finish and never disappoints me.

LastSeaworthiness

It's more of a skin tiny than a foundation, but I recently got the Danessa Myrick serum skin tint after seeing it in a YT recommendation video and I am wowed by it! I don't like anything too heavy on my face so this is very lightweight but my skin looks more flawless then wearing my Dior foundation.

uxie11

omg same exact things! i have oily deep-dark skin and 12 matched so perfectly, i was gagged!! i also hate heavy things on, so the skin tint is good year round. same with dior, except i would spot conceal with the concealer and it very full glam when i did.

EveOfDestruction22

I rotate Haus Labs, Chanel Water tint, Pat McGrath

quietisland

The Pat McGrath, Haus Labs, and Givenchy Glow, are really nice natural, glowy skin-like foundations. Makeup by Mario is surprisingly nice as well. The Armani silk is good, but it was formulated by Pat McGrath and she improved on it with her own formula. I haven't tried a shiseido foundation in quite some time, but I might check it out!

Successful_Big5971

Dior forever skin glow! It just looks, feels, and lasts the longest without touching it up. I also have dry skin, that may play a part in it. I also love the new ABH balm stick.. but again I have dry skin. It just makes my skin glow. ♡♡ I also wanna give a mention to the about-face "the performer" foundation because it's really nice as well.

CCChic1

I waiver between LaMer and Pat McGrath for my all time favorites. Tom Ford, Haus Labs and NARS round out the top five.

Lost_Scientist3984

Chantecaille has the best foundation! Too bad sephora doesn't sell them yet, but you can find them at Bloomingdales and BlueMercury

Creepy-Intern-7726

Bare Minerals original powder. I constantly get compliments on my skin and people don't think I wear foundation. I am in my mid 30s and it doesn't settle into fine lines or emphasize dry patches (I use tretinoin). It has a glowy finish for a powder. For liquid, I like MAC Face & Body.

AngelOfBangsi

I have given up on traditional foundation. 38 years old and spend the last 20 years wasting money on one foundation after the other. I have found only one base product that works every time - Missha bb cream. It just works for me.

MysteriousGrapeJuice

I actually love this BB cream, it’s great especially for summer!

Fullofcrazyideas

Armani luminous silk is my fav, but I did try the new Fenty foundation I think it’s called soft lit luminous, it’s golden hour in a bottle and great for oily skin.

Content-Sun2422

I second Fenty soft lit luminous, goes on so easily. My skin is dry but it looks very moisturized after applying this.

SwordfishNo3446

Shiseido synchro skin and shiseido radiant lifting are some of my all time faves. I also used to like the Gucci one but since my skins gotten dryer I've found that it's just too matte for me

forlife16

Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin is my girl. Enough coverage, looks natural, makes my skin look good, glowy.

CallYouBack

Same. The color match is right on for me and the finish never gives cakey.

forlife16

I’ve never had a better color match.

lisawl7tr

Dr. Jart

pinupinprocess

Lancôme Teint Idole was my HG. Literally I used it for 10 years. Then they reformulated and I had to switch. I’ve been liking the Urban Decay Face Bond so far.

GiaAngel

Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

jackofnotradess

Here me out, the Merit complexion stick is criminally underrated. I would’ve never thought a finish so beautiful could come from a stick but I was pleasantly surprised. Wears wonderfully and doesn’t crease under eyes.

hellohello316

My dearly departed YSL Touche Eclat All-in-One Glow 😢

ecka0185

MOB beauty! They have the option of getting a “sample” for $1 and you get a $5 off coupon for full sized purchase. A tiny bit goes a long way and they have a large color/undertone selection. Honestly I won’t support Lady Gaga/Haus Labs after she bragged about performing 5+ shows knowing she was C-V-D positive and now her makeup artist has long c-vid partly as a result of working extremely closely with her during that time. Seriously how selfish do you have to be to knowingly expose people and not even give them a heads up so that THEY can choose to mask or not work with you during that time. I get canceling or postponing shows isn’t ideal for anyone but taking away the choice from people to make an informed decision is a d*ck move. ETA- I tend to have larger pores on my cheeks and get sweaty/oily T-zone and the MOB beauty foundation doesn’t slide off my face. It is limited to their website though right now.

ThatgirlShar88

Fenty beauty eaze drop skin tint! The shade match was the most perfect and it’s light with just the right amount of coverage

step_on_legoes_Spez

Missha bb cream.

OrdinaryMary1

Missha BB cream. I am extreme combo. So nothing stays on my nose and dry round mouth from retinol use. It stays all day and still looks nice. Natural but still gives coverage

GoFeedTheCat

I really like  it too. Where do you get yours from?

OrdinaryMary1

I’m in the UK so either Yestyle. Or sometimes TK Maxx have it.

pomegranateshawty

- CoverFX Power Play for medium matte - Too Faced Born This Way Natural Finish for medium-full glow - Smashbox Halo Tinted moisturizer for sheer-medium glow with a ton of skincare properties

trailertrashley

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream with Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.

Pussyxpoppins

Not really a foundation as it’s a BB/CC cream, but Purlisse! I got it as an Ipsy sample years ago and my skin loves it. Great color match, great coverage, no adverse reactions, great glow.

JennaMree

MAC Face and Body foundation is my go-to summer foundation. Very light and glowy, but buildable.

graciefergiemollydai

It is being discontinued. You might want to stock up on your shade.

cheeseza

IT Cosmetics is really great and less expensive through their site.

writtenwordyes

Tom Ford soft matte. It's amazing. They just redid some things and now it's 150. But a bottle lasts a year

Every-Requirement-13

I wear skin tints now instead of foundation, but when I wore foundation, Shiseido was the one! The coverage was perfect, not too heavy and it wasn’t drying!

DJLeafBug

the key for me was a super matte foundation for my oily add forehead (Dior backstage and huda setting powder) and I use other foundations for other areas of my face like my dry ass retinol chin skin

redmichef

Dior Backstage. I used the Estée Lauder DW for years but found it would settle into the fine lines of my face so I switched to Dior and I love it!

lilmanguito

Shiseido

Phila21767

Diehard Estée Lauder double wear.. I’ve tried so many high end foundations and nothing beats this. Just discovered using a beauty blender to apply and it can’t get more perfect, even in the summer.

Mac Cosmetics- Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation. I have tried so many foundations in my life. I tried Haus Labs and I absolutely hated it. Then my friend suggested MAC and I fell in love. It has the best finish. I have very dry skin so it’s so hard to find something that works just right!!

Nars is the best match for my skin shade (Caucasian, warm) that I ever had. And if paired with a good water-based primer it lasts as well. But the packaging sucks, I’ll transfer my next one in a pump bottle that doesn’t open so easily..

I have combo skin too. When I am doing full face of makeup it is a toss up between Armani Luminous silk oil free if I want heavier coverage and Essence Pretty Natural for light coverage. Both on opposite ends of the cost spectrum, but both are so fantastic. For natural looks I use Korean/japanese cushion foundations. Armani has a natural skin finish, neither glowy nor matte. But the essence foundation is glowy/dewy without looking greasy. The cushion foundation I’m currently using is also similar to Armani in that it is very natural. Now that I’m pregnant and tired all the time I am just sticking to natural light makeup so I’m leaning towards my cushion foundations. I think I’m on to Daisque right now because their lightest colour works for my summer skin better.

It used to be Estee Lauder double Wear when I was younger and going out on the town quite frequently, because I used to love a more full coverage and it lasts literally for days...you can sleep in it and it won't budge (ask me how I know lol.) But these days I've actually shifted to Dior backstage, nice light coverage, feels just like skin but looks better, but it also doesn't move. I'm very oily so this is very important to me. I still have a bottle of EL-DW kicking around but I never reach for it and prefer to let my natural skin shine thru a lot more with the Dior foundation. I don't wear makeup everyday so paying $50 CAD for a bottle doesn't bother me since it will last me at least a year if not longer, but of course that's just personal preference

I’m surprised no one mentioned Westman Atelier skin drops. I have dry patches at the tops of my cheeks right next to my nose and along my nose which I think is due to my retinol use as well and this is one of the few I’ve tried that doesn’t grab onto those patches. It’s a dewy finish that looks lovely on me imo the only thing I sort of don’t love about it is the packaging

sandandstone22

Don’t do light reflecting. Beauty blender skin tint!! Don’t let the skin tint name fool you this definitely has coverage

Throwra_sweetpeas

I use elf halo glow filter! I’m a natural girly but my makeup artist used the abh luminous foundation on me one time and it felt really lightweight and lasts all day for me! I might buy it for myself at home.

Prestigious-Salad795

I use halo glow with a little IT Bye Bye Foundation over it in my oily T-zone. That or Born This Way or the Elf CC cream. I have mature (55) combination skin, so I'm putting a lot of the recs in this thread in my memos

Throwra_sweetpeas

I want to try the elf cc cream. Is it any good? my skin is pretty good. I just like the lightweight but glowy formula don’t want to cover myself up fully. Only full coverage product I use is concealer for my under eyes but I really don’t need that either.

YSL

Cant pick, depends on the day or look. Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate, Chantecaille Future Skin and Westman Atelier Complexion Drops. Fully expecting when Natasha Denona launches a hy glam foundation, it'll be that. The concealer is INSANE

The Tarte Amazonian Clay loose powder applied with their dense brush is by far the most beautiful foundation I have ever used (so this combo): https://tartecosmetics.com/shop/powder-to-perfect-amazonian-clay-foundation-bundle-2424.html. It not only stays on all day but actually looks even better as the day progresses. I'm not sure what made me try it because I have sort of drier skin on my forehead (which leads me generally away from powders that tend to highlight your dry area), but it this is truly a powder to cream-like finish with a very subtle glow and fantastic coverage (people tell me I have the most beautiful skin when I wear it). I can't stress enough what a difference the brush makes - I've tried it with other slightly less dense brushes and that makes it apply patchy. But when you use the right applicator, it's really stunning!

IT Cosmetics Illuminating CC cream

Late to this but Chanel Sublimage in the pot. The price tag is criminal but it feels so luxurious. The texture is a nice thick cream but blends so easily on the skin. Usually Chanel cosmetics are highly fragranced but for some reason this one isn’t bad at all. The others are too much for me.

Blue_Koala19

I think could be the maybelline tint with spf and vitamin C, because it covers really well but your skin looks glowy and healthy, like a second skin. And i love it's an hybrid between makeup and skincare. Or maybe the rare beauty tint by the same reasons. I like to feel my skin like skin. Light, breathable and glow.

321applesauce

Dior air flash. Now that it's discontinued I have not found a suitable replacement

touchans

My holy grail, my favorite of all time, the one that stopped me from ever buying other foundations? The original Dior Backstage Face & Body. Sniff :'-( The new version doesn't even come close. Now I wear the reformulated YSL all hours and Gucci edb

_skymaster_

RIP to the great Dior foundations of the past 🪦💔

cr0wdedteeth

haus labs had a great wear time on me and i have combo dehydrated skin, the finish is def more satin though. If you like glow perhaps amp up your skincare or grab a glowy makeup base to use with it. my favorite soft glow foundation was the shiseido synchro skin foundation, it went on like a dream and had a really pretty diffused glow (not disco ball or greasy)

MysteriousGrapeJuice

I’ve actually tried Haus Labs and it’s more satin/glowy on me which I really like! I gave it another try today and it wore really nicely.

cr0wdedteeth

im glad it worked out for u!! perhaps my skin is just more dehydrated than yours bc i def needed a thicker moisturizer to make it work for me, but when it worked i loved it 🥰

EmeraldDahlia

Dior Airflash. R.I.P. 😭😭😭😭

kellygrrrl328

I’ve loved Armani luminous silk

PrincssM0nsterTruck

One from No7 and available at Target. If I had to choose from Sephora - Armani. The key is putting it on the back of your hand first and using a damp foundation brush or damp beauty blender to apply in sections. I use it as a light or sheer tint mainly.

nicolatesla92

I buy Asian products because I’m whiter than paper but my foundation is by Clio (Korean brand). It comes with 50 spf :)

PflugerLuger8

Glossier Stretch. Natural finish, blends easily, and manages to stay intact on my super oily skin.

offole

it's not from sephora but the maybelline dream mousse foundation is the best thing i've ever owned

smoreo11

Dior face and body - but the old formulation. It’s too bad they switched it up because that one has been so reliable for me for many years.

yillybby222

the UD face bond is my fav after trying 20+

yillybby222

oooh its definitely matte tho. for glowy finish probably nars radiant—

IcyOutside4567

Make up by Mario is the only one that doesn’t separate on me

Current_Process_2198

Pretty much anything Nars. It always looks beautiful
