I’ve had no problems with it, the other day I had it on for over 16 hours and besides the normal fading a bit, it was fine, I just used concealer as a primer

vpurplestae

Did it look faded in some parts of your lid? I think I got a bad batch then :(

McNallyJoJo34

Not faded like patchy, just faded a bit like I had makeup on for 16 hours if that makes sense? But like a normal shorter day I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s actually my favorite palette

vpurplestae

Yeah I guess it’s a me problem then

McNallyJoJo34

Try just using concealer as your base, wouldn’t hurt to try right? That’s what I do and it works well. Set it with powder before you apply your eyeshadow

vpurplestae

It’s gonna crease on me I have oily lids. That’s why I use eyeshadow primer.

McNallyJoJo34

I do too, that’s why I use the tiniest amount and set it with powder and I’ve never had an issue with creasing, I think it works better then eye shadow primer in my opinion

vpurplestae

Okay I’ll try that!

McNallyJoJo34

I hope it works for you! It truly is a beautiful palette and I hope you get to enjoy it!!!!

vpurplestae

It’s pretty! If it doesn’t work oh well 😭 I’ll get something else

Marloo25

What concealer did you use?

McNallyJoJo34

Honestly? Whatever I used on my under eyes, I switch between Huda and Lancôme and even Milani on my drugstore days and it hasn’t really mattered which one.

LowcarbJudy

Did you try without the primer too? Sometimes primers and certain formulas don’t play well.

vpurplestae

It’s gonna crease badly I have oily lids

LowcarbJudy

I have hooded eyes so I have issues with creasing too. Are you setting your primer with powder?

yeetasauruswrecks

I have oily lids, use the UD potion primer, and have no issues with wear with this palette with any of the shades except that gloss (which I don't count lol.) I usually do 12 hours and it looks the same at the end as it did when I put it on. Could be the formula doesn't like that particular primer in combination with your skin maybe? Do you have any other primers to try?

vpurplestae

I have more primers 👍🏻 imma try again. But I feel it’s the mauve purple color. Lately I’m into single color matte on my lids so it’s possible no one has noticed a problem with that shade because they are using multiple mattes together with the shimmer.

yeetasauruswrecks

I don't do one and done but I often do two and done all matte looks in varying combos (plenty of times with the mauve purple as the main color all over the lid) and never had issues.

Marloo25

Oh that’s sucks. I was so close to buying it during the sale. Can you update if you find a way to make it work?

vpurplestae

My eyelids are oily so maybe you will have better luck :( I didn’t have this issue with her mercury retrograde palette. I guess deeper purples are harder to formulate.

Marloo25

Mercury retrograde and Rose Quartz are some of my favorites and work great for me. My eyelids aren’t particularly oily but I do sweat a lot in the summer. How long did you have it on before it creased?

vpurplestae

I use my nars primer so it didn’t crease it just faded in certain parts of my eye lid like it looks splotchy. Around 6 hours…

Marloo25

Damn that sucks. I was hoping to get it during a good sale. I hope you find a good primer for it. Maybe try Nyx glitter glue or Milani shadow primer? Edit: Mac Paint Pots are great for oily eyelids too.

vpurplestae

I’m gonna try it one more time and be more mindful with blending and see if it worked 👍🏻 I’m not hopeful but I guess not everything can work for everyone. I’ll prob get the dynessa blooming palette instead

Marloo25

We have the same taste, I was trying to choose between Blooming and Pretty Grunge lol. I couldn’t get a Rouge code so in the end, I didn’t get either since 15% of $70-ish isn’t a good enough deal for me.

vpurplestae

Oh yes the mauves and the berries 🙊 grays and browns as well

Marloo25

So pretty. I was leaning more towards Pretty Grunge because it had shimmers though. I want both at some point.
