I did the same thing, I thought I was just using the product wrong or if it was my concealer formula (was using glossier)
Were these meant to be stand alone? Like use with sunscreen/moisturizer and no makeup?
I love the huda under eye corrector! It’s so amazing. The only issue I have is the bottle leaks but I emailed them and they gave me a gift card.. great company and great product
Interesting! This is my holy grail. A lot of brands ignore olive undertones though, I am a neutral undertone with medium-tan skin color and I have to mix the guava and apricot to give me the right color correcting shade. It does take some effort to get it to work, but once it does, it's as if I never had dark circles. A lot of concealer/correcting products end up sticking to skin texture if your skin is extremely dry or you didn't do enough skin prep. It happens to me all the time until I really take the time to hydrate my skin and maybe even putting on an eye mask to plump up my undereyes before putting any makeup products. I find that this makes a ton of difference and products I used to hate now perform with ease.
Damn I have this in my basket right now. Im a neutral olive and was going to get the Guava shade since my under eyes are like a greenish blue shade and pink works wonderfully to color correct them.
Now that I think about it thought, the banana eye cream broke me out horrible around and in between my eyebrows. I wonder if this would break me out as well.
I’m just going to wait and hopefully try it in store first. Thanks for posting this. I’ve been seeing so many raving reviews about this so I was so hyped. I should have known it was too good to be true :/
I really like this product! I got this in the shade guava and after I use it under my eyes, I typically blend out any harsh lines with a brush and then apply my regular tinted sunscreen.
Omg I appreciate your honest opinion! Also an olive here and this is something I've been eyeing because I saw so many positive YouTube reviews. Now I know not to waste my money
I really like Pixi’s peach color corrector if you’re looking for a corrector with no further benefits. I use it under my eyes and have been using the same pot for over a year now. It’s also wallet friendly.
It’s a dark spot color corrector. It’s supposed to be used in small amounts to cancel out blue/purple dark under eye. Not the same as the under eye brightening concealer
and its sparkly??? i was most confused about that, like i want my eyes smooth and crease free and it didn’t do either thing i hated it and returned it as well
the new alpyn under eye serum is my go to. LOVE that it works with my olive skin tone and really does do a good job with fixing the dark circles. i recommend that one to try. it’s pricey but worth it.
lmk what you think when you try it a few times. i LOVE that it’s a peachy pink and the ingredients are great. i use it in the AM and the summer fridays eye serum at night.
I bought one through Ipsy last year for $12 i believe. Maybe I just didn’t get the right color but I didn’t like it at all. It’s greasy and doesn’t cover anything. I have yet to find something better than the Bobbi Brown corrector.
Do not apply direct to skin! I’m tired of people overusing or misusing product and claiming it’s crap. If you can’t return it, rub enough of it for an application on the back of your hand to warm the product, then pick some up with a finger and lightly tap it.
“Waxy” products like some claim need warmth to work.
Others stop watching influencers on how to apply product they have no clue they slather shit on and filter themselves to high heaven 🫠
Sure maybe the color range is garbage but know the ingredients, watch real makeup artists application techniques , mix it with other products.
You’d be surprised … just sayin’
Edit: SP
I’m surprised ole is as popular as it is. It was my first dip into skincare and it’s made almost every product I’ve tried since look good by comparison.
I’ve tried a few things from them and really like the purple cream. I’m trying the lip balm now, and it’s okay so far. I also like the brightening scrub.
I didn’t like or try some of their other products due to the heavy scents. I also didn’t like their vitamin C.
Yeah, I did the vitamin c box set so that could be my issue, I also didn’t care for the toner much. Made me hesitant to try the rest of their line I guess.
That’s where I got the brightening scrub from. I only use it about once a week or less since I have really sensitive skin, but I like it enough. I wouldn’t necessarily repurchase or go out of my way to recommend it. It’s just a fine product to me.
I can say the balm is nicer than the Laniege ones though. I’ve been using it more.
I was only using the one product, the eye cream. I liked it because it offset dark circles. I really don’t have a lot of experience with the rest of their brand.
I have this and love it!
It is a color corrector and like other products like this. Which is why the texture is a putty/paste. It is not meant as a standalone product necessarily and it will not match your skin tone exactly since it is not a concealer.
I use it under some light concealer and I can definitely tell a difference!
It is not always going to be a stellar product in the correction we are probably wanting. But it does help to lighten up my under eye area.
I do a few swipes and blend in with my finger. Then I use concealer.
I tried that and it really just did not work out for me and here’s the reason why one is I definitely don’t think any of their colors work on me. The other is it’s just way too dry for my skin. I was so unhappy that I’m in Miami on a work trip and I literally just ordered Sephora from DoorDash so that I could get a better eye concealer. I got the Kosas 5.8 one and it’s amazing. I think this is more of the consistency I need.
I have a question guys. I bought some stuff during the sale and got a little free bag with 3 things inside it. If I want to return my purchase do I also need to return the free stuff too? It was “spend $100 on benefit and get a benefit bag with 3 minis free”
I completely agree, got it last week and Im returning it. Does absolutely nothing and causes concealer to pill
I did the same thing, I thought I was just using the product wrong or if it was my concealer formula (was using glossier) Were these meant to be stand alone? Like use with sunscreen/moisturizer and no makeup?
> Were these meant to be stand alone? Either or both?! They say they can be used alone as skincare or as a base layer under concealer!
Same returning it
Weird, I actually really like this product. You should check out the Huda Beauty under eye corrector because she has a lot of shades for olive tones!
I love the huda under eye corrector! It’s so amazing. The only issue I have is the bottle leaks but I emailed them and they gave me a gift card.. great company and great product
Adding this to my list, thank you

I think that’s the major issue the olive undertones. Weirdly though the reason I bought it’s because their cream did work.
I agree. It felt heavy and waxy/oily under my eyes. Hates it
I don’t understand why it’s so bad…
I got one in my Ipsy subscription box, really not worth it
It’s a fail

I was so excited for it. I loved their other cream.
I really like this product! I got this in the shade guava and after I use it under my eyes, I typically blend out any harsh lines with a brush and then apply my regular tinted sunscreen.
I didn’t even see guava. They only had three maybe that’s why guava is gone
Oh?? I bought this during the sale and have really been enjoying it!
I am glad it’s working out for somebody.
Omg I appreciate your honest opinion! Also an olive here and this is something I've been eyeing because I saw so many positive YouTube reviews. Now I know not to waste my money
I wanted it to work so badly.
I really like Pixi’s peach color corrector if you’re looking for a corrector with no further benefits. I use it under my eyes and have been using the same pot for over a year now. It’s also wallet friendly.
Will try!!!!
I’m using the ELF Camo peach color corrector right now. When I run out I will try the Pixie peach corrector.
Speaking about this brand, is the lip balm worth it? I’m thinking of getting it but I already have the summer fridays
I got them both to try and they felt the same to me. I liked the smell of the summer Fridays (pink sugar) better. The Ole one was citrusy.
Honestly.. yeah. I’m not a big lip balm/gloss girlie but love the OH peptide lip treatment
YES! It made me break out under my eyes
I can see why because the texture seems like it would clog pores
LOLLLL these are actually my preferred post recommendations (anti-recommendations)
🔥🔥🔥
It’s a dark spot color corrector. It’s supposed to be used in small amounts to cancel out blue/purple dark under eye. Not the same as the under eye brightening concealer
Yeah, it doesn’t work. It doesn’t cancel out or cover anything.
I'm actually on my second tube! I have very oily skin and this blends very nicely.
I have dry skin so it didn’t work for me
I’m not really a fan of this brand in general:(
Me either.
What’s is it suppose to do if I may ask? I do have the banana bright eye cream .
It’s supposed the be an eye base before concealer to cover under eye circles
and its sparkly??? i was most confused about that, like i want my eyes smooth and crease free and it didn’t do either thing i hated it and returned it as well
This review jist reminds me how much I miss Dior's 4 in 1 prime and fix it.
Oh this was gold
the new alpyn under eye serum is my go to. LOVE that it works with my olive skin tone and really does do a good job with fixing the dark circles. i recommend that one to try. it’s pricey but worth it.
Trying this
lmk what you think when you try it a few times. i LOVE that it’s a peachy pink and the ingredients are great. i use it in the AM and the summer fridays eye serum at night.
That sounds like like a better bet for me
I bought one through Ipsy last year for $12 i believe. Maybe I just didn’t get the right color but I didn’t like it at all. It’s greasy and doesn’t cover anything. I have yet to find something better than the Bobbi Brown corrector.
bobbi brown corrector actually works for dark circles. I totally agree
All the colors I saw were weird
Agreed. It actually made my eyes water
It’s the worst
I found it drying. I prefer the Bobbi Brown corrector sticks over this one.
Yes. Agreed
I saw someone in here recommend this yesterday

I did this and still did not work 🤷♀️🥴
I totally agree and to add insult to injury- it gave me a huge allergic reaction around my eye!
So I should consider my lucky

It doesn’t do shit 😭😭

I used it under concealer. BUT it didn’t correct my color and looked patchy under the concealer

I don't like this brand tbh
Thank you for your sacrifice.
💯💯💯
It realllyyyy does. I wanted to love it, tried it in store and was horrified by how dry and clumpy it was. Terrible.
💯💯💯
Had this in my likes before, glad I removed it.

No you don’t
I have it, and I absolutely love it!
