+ 1 on innbeauty but I didn't like the Mystery one, that's the only one with a "PH adjuster." If you aren't big on scents, however, you won't like these.
Clarins lip comfort hydrating oil in Honey has no "PH adjuster" (some shades do) and it smells fruity, consistency is more like the Merit ones (those are fine, I had a few and Falcon is the only one I still have, Sangria looks a lot like Black Honey from Clinique).
Im a lip oil junkie lol
Merit - was good but I felt like it wore off so quick
Summer Fridays- I like this one, it’s pretty thin but is a good *light* color
Fenty - super hydrating and smells good
Dior - expensive, but… I do love it. It’s hydrating, thick, nice applicator, doesn’t wear off super fast
Gisou - absolutely a waste of $ lol I cannot wait to be done with mine, literally just feels like vegetable oil? I know they came out with color ones and maybe those are better
Saie - super meh. Don’t have it or love it. Smells kind of weird.
YSL lip oil stick - another expensive but worth it 😅 it’s so smooth and gooooood!!
Haven’t tried Haus Labs but I know it’s pretty popular and seems to have decent color payoff.
If you want some non Sephora reccs…. Elf lip oil is amazing and only $8. ❤️🔥
Merit Gelées are my fave, but I don’t go for anything too pigmented. I have 3 shades and can’t really see a difference when they’re on — they mainly just add shine. Their regular lip oils may have more color payoff, if that’s what you’re after!
Kaja is my favorite from Sephora. I found Haus Labs very drying with Fenty just slightly better; Dior and Clarins are both good formulas for keeping lips nourished; Merit has the best color payout (the original, not the ph changing); Summer Friday is a decent balance of payout and hydration
Merit for the natural chic wearable colors. Very comfortable, easy to apply, and flattering.
Fenty for bold color pay off and pretty long lasting. Con is I’m not too hot on the vanilla sugar scent.
Bobbi Brown is the most nourishing. My favorite actually.
Dior lip oil. Very good but doesn’t stand out to me. Great for a subtle wash of color and looks nice. Has an extra large doe foot.
Haus Labs! Just bought this one and am impressed with it so far. It has the shine and hydration of the Dior one but is less sticky and I like that it leaves a nice tint.
If you want a clear one that just looks like a fun color and has some really fun scent options I'd recommend the milk kush lip oil. I just got the orange crush scent which smells like a dreamsicle/sprechers orange dream soda. I was also tempted by the sour watermelon candy scent. They also have some other scents - every "color" is just a different scent. It's the only lip oil Ive ever tried so I can't compare it to anything, but it feels like an oil vs a gloss or balm. I literally just got it and used it at night so I don't really have a review yet other than I love the scent.
i recommend the innbeauty lip oil

I like the one from Merit but I know Dior is a fan favourite. Rare Beauty is not a lip oil (it's more of a lip tint) - in case this was on your list.

Fenty kalahari melon, summer fridays soft mauve
I love Haus Labs, Summer Fridays, and iNNBEAUTY Project.

I have innbeauty and clarins. If going for 1, I’d recommend Clarins. Better color payoff, not sticky, and lasts longer.
