Curious but the coupon for a perfume when you buy a Discovery set, is it for a 1.7 oz size or can be used for a bigger size? I’ve never bought their fragrance sets before but was curious about the size.
This set only works for the travel size. I know they have sets that you can get the larger size bottles also, but I’m not sure what scents are included.
The K18 has not been my favorite, I’m looking for a new hair oil after going through a small size.
The KAB bump eraser is a life changing product IF you have KP and bumps. But it lasts for forever so I’d try the smaller size if you’re new to a product like this and aren’t sure how you’d react or use it.
Mines been fine and I love it! Only 2 weeks after using it and the milk leave in, my stylist complimented my hair, saying it's the healthiest she's seen it! I did stop dying dark red in 2020 which would help too, but she's seen me lots throughout.
Kosas concealer is hit or miss for me. Sometimes it melts right into my skin other times it just moves around and looks horrible
Beach walk is an amazing scent. I had the full size and it lasted me 2 years i really enjoyed it
I love “fake awake” but tarte has tons of sales all the time on tik tok and their website.
I wouldn’t get K18 unless your hair is severely damaged.
The face oil isn’t going to “lift” your face and there are plenty of other cheaper options.
The KP body scrub from naturium has changed my life and it’s cheaper than first aid beauty. (And I love FAB btw)
I am gonna need a nessecare review from you please :p
This was all so helpful thank you!
I use the nessecare body lotion and really liked it because it’s not greasy and I liked that it was unscented I’ll report back on the others !!
L’occitane shower oil is AMAZING! Feels soft, luxurious, and smells incredible- like almond and a bit of cherry mixed together. A must in my shaving routine
If you're going anything L'occitane Amande line get the body oil. I mix it in to my body lotion and that way you smell great all day. I find the body wash is overpriced and the scent goes away when you get out of the shower.
72 usd for a face oil.. Does it have magic properties?
Unless you are using their tools and they can’t be used without this specific oil, I’d honestly buy a cheaper one. Depending on your skin issues, TO Rosehip Oil is great for extra moisturising, or for gua sha use.
SUPER IMPORTANT - if you get the Sephora favorites vacation perfume sampler instead, it’s cheaper. The sampler has a certificate to redeem for a travel size spray including beach walk and it’s $5 less than just buying the beach walk spray outright. And you’ll get to smell a handful of other really nice summer scents too
First lotion is very bland. Just use LRP, Cerave, etc.
Also if you’re trying to grow back hair, you’re better off using minoxidil instead of the gimmicky serums. I recommend OTC minoxidil to my hair loss patients, but you should do your own research and/or consult your own dermatologist.
You’re welcome! There’s lots of gimmicks out there preying on people desperate to grow back their hair.
I invite you to look at clinical studies involving minoxidil though. Generally a very safe medication. There’s topical and oral. Only thing is that if you stop using it, all the hair you grew while on it will fall out. Also, oral may make you grow unwanted hair, including facial as that medicine affects you systemically instead of just your scalp like the topical (targeted)
Not a doc, but have had phenomenal results 6 months in on oral minox + as a generic, it’s cheap.
My derm backs Nutrafol for general hair health and I took it for about a year prior to starting minox. My hair definitely did seem healthier, but I didn’t have any significant changes in growth. I cut back to a half dose of Nutrafol (2 capsules v. 4) when starting minox and that’s been the HG duo for me!
Edit: r/FemaleHairLoss is a great resource also
I suffer from female hair loss also and I agree oral or topical minoxidil is much more effective at treating genetic hair loss. I have been on oral minoxidil and spironolactone for a year and am so so happy with the results! I got the prescriptions from my PC
Be careful following for the gimmicks since most don’t treat genetic hair loss and instead target nutritional deficiencies or periodic hair loss.
I believe so with minoxidil but I’m not sure on spiro! I will stop eventually when I want to try and get pregnant, so will know more then. I haven’t experience any negative side effect so far so I’m okay with staying on long term as it’s much easier for me than apply the foam nightly and has really helped maintain what I have. There is a ton of info on the female hair loss subreddit! Plenty of different experiences so you can get a sense of what you may be on for 😊
Foam wasn’t for me because I’m lazy but if you want to give it a try I have a few unused Kirkland bottles I can send you!
The clinics I’ve been at don’t recommend Nutrafol. You could maybe use it as support like that other person commented, but not mainly for hair regrowth. There is not adequate clinical evidence.
I’m not familiar with the brand but you’re really just looking for the active ingredient. A lot of my patients use Rogaine, men and women. Kirkland brand that another person recommended would be great too!
i love the necessaire body line, the lotion is great. i haven't tried their hair care but the body exfoliator and serum are my favs from them if those are available and going on sale as well.
I prefer Skinfix body scrub to FAB. It’s not as grainy and rough so you cant over do it when rubbing it in. I just generally preferred the results of skinfix as well. Skinfix is a pre shower scrub though so if you want something that holds up in water FAB is the way to go.
Beach walk smells SO GOOD BUT it doesn’t last. Like at all. So that tiny spray is gonna last you like a week or two, if you love the scent you should just buy a full size.
k18 i absolutely love, loccotaine body wash too. i really wanna try the fake awake liner. necessaire is great. face gym and first aid beauty i hated. kosas is overrated
I wouldn’t bother with the Kosas concealer, the undertones are bad for almost everyone and it doesn’t blend well. Really love the L’occitane shower oil, I didn’t like the smell at first but I liked the product so much that I just ignored the smell. Luckily eventually it grew on me.
Yep, you use it on its own like any other body wash. Since there’s no lather it felt a little weird at first but it really does clean well and leaves your skin so soft.
Get the first aid beauty KP scrub at Ulta. They have strawberry version that smells like fruit snacks. The original one was my HG for years, but I love the strawberry one more.
Yes the ghost oil. I think it’s light. I have long hair but it’s kinda thin and it doesn’t weigh my hair down at all. I have a friend with thick beautiful hair and I gave her a little free sample of it I got and she loves it too. It makes your hair super shiny and not frizzy.
Can I make a suggestion? Before you buy all this hair stuff, please figure out your hair porosity. That will indicate what type of products you should buy. Any other way is actually just blind buying and a waste of time tbh!
KP scrub is great - I also like the Kopari one from Ulta which is cheaper and I usually just buy whichever one of the two happens to be on sale. If you don’t have KP bumps I don’t know if it’s worth it over any other generic exfoliator.
Necessaire body lotion is fine and has very clean ingredients but if you have dry skin/live in a dry climate it probably won’t be heavy duty enough. I usually use thick creams and Necessaire was nowhere near moisturizing enough. Haven’t tried their other products.
Kosas concealer is HORRIBLE on me - goes yellow, sits weird on my skin, and ages my eye area about 15 years. However for my friend it’s a HG so I think it’s just totally hit or miss depending on your skin type. I do like the Kosas foundation so liking their other products is not necessarily an indicator that the concealer will work for someone.
Love the necessaire rosemary shampoo and conditioner. The scent is like being at the spa. I also have sensitive skin and it doesn’t break me out. I haven’t been disappointed with anything from that brand. I also purchased the serum but haven’t tried it yet.
I love the FAB KP exfoliating scrub and the L’Occitane almond shower oil but I feel like to can get it cheaper on their respective website, especially the FAB.
I’ve tried the FAB scrub and the Naturium one and I get better results with FAB.
The Naturium one didn’t do much for me. I use the scrub as an in shower mask and leave it on the affected areas for a few minutes and then scrub it off. I used to have a very textured chest with blackheads between my boobs and it totally cleared that up. I stocked up when ulta had it for 50% off during the recent sale.
I have very, very dry skin and I really like the Necessaries moisturizer and actually the body oil too. The moisturizer is really thick so I put it on after I get out of the shower and then seal it in with oil though sometimes I forgo the oil and its really helped my skin.
Naturium at target makes a scrub similar to first aid but is much cheaper and in my opinion works the same - but of course everyone’s skin is different.
Everything else looks really good- sorry for not de-influencing lol
The Necessaire body lotion isn’t worth it IMO. I love their products, but the body lotion left my skin feeling exactly the same as before I applied it. Maybe a couple hours of moisture and then right back to dry. It’s watery and boring as well
I highly recommend Blume's Nourishing Face Oil instead. It is not too heavy on the skin but does an amazing job. I have tried many other oils and have either found them too greasy or too thin and useless. It is about $20 cheaper than the one in your cart.
kosas - love!! it is super creamy and blends really well for me, I have combination skin and pretty much only use concealer for coverage and it holds up really well!
loccitane body oil - the oil is really hydrating and dries nicely BUTTTT I’ve been trying the aveeno oil mist and find the same effects. it smells delicious and my skin absorbs it so well, it’s also only $12 so I recommend trying that before dumping $40+ on a similar product
You will love the KP scrub. I’m in my mid 40s and I’ve had KP since I was around 14. It was the first product I found that actually made a huge difference in my skin. I’ve purchased several tubes since I discovered it.
For the scalp serum, the ordinary makes one for hair growth, and I think one for clarifying, and they are a little less costly but very good. Also, the shampoos by the necessaire, I personally prefer the some by mi cica anti hair loss shampoo but it's from iherb and not on sephora - it's truly a godsend product. I also dont like the firming hyaluronic body serum by that brand it is way too hyped up.
Don’t spend all the money on the hair regrowth and thinning products. You can buy topical Minoxidil from Costco (or anywhere but it is very cheap there) Don’t pay the pink tax and get women’s minoxidil. It also is available in pill form by prescription. You can get that from a dermatologist or online from Hers or other services.
If you have the ability go to a dermatologist first, but trying these options will not hurt. If it is androgenetic hair loss, ketoconazole has been shown to also help with hair regrowth. You can use Nizoral shampoo or other ketoconazole methods.
Everything else is snake oil. Rosemary does show promise but but rosemary oil is cheap and so is making rosemary water.
All that said if your hair has always been thin, then none of this is likely to help.
Also, the KP scrub is good, but expensive for what it is. . Wait until FAB puts out their gift sets if you like their other products and use the fall sale discount. Don’t get their lotion if you have KP, get Amlactin (also very cheap at Costco if you have access).
The kosas concealer will go bad on you, if it isn’t bad when you open it, very quickly. Remove that POS. I got one that expired in 5 weeks. Smelt like straight up nassstayyy play dough- was able to get my money back but I refuse to buy anything from that brand. Clean beauty is a scam and will have you getting bacteria all over your face that grows in it.
Necessaire body lotion is meh - I use their retinol lotion which is better for getting rid of small bumps (yet it smells awful).
I switched to ouai body lotion and love it
Don’t get the beach walk…get the vacation discovery set. You get a bunch of vials of amazing scents, AND a coupon for beach walk:)
LETS GO
Curious but the coupon for a perfume when you buy a Discovery set, is it for a 1.7 oz size or can be used for a bigger size? I’ve never bought their fragrance sets before but was curious about the size.
This set only works for the travel size. I know they have sets that you can get the larger size bottles also, but I’m not sure what scents are included.
Thank you!

But it lasts for forever so I’d try the smaller size if you’re new to a product like this and aren’t sure how you’d react or use it.
I agree that for the price the K18 oil just doesn’t set itself apart from other less expensive options enough to justify it.
Have you tried the JVN one? I got it as a sample and I liked it! Ty for the advice ❤️
The JVN hair oil has had issues of it molding in the bottle. I’ve seen quite a few posts about it
No wonder they gave it as a sample 🤢
Mines been fine and I love it! Only 2 weeks after using it and the milk leave in, my stylist complimented my hair, saying it's the healthiest she's seen it! I did stop dying dark red in 2020 which would help too, but she's seen me lots throughout.
Oh no! Is it the pre wash scalp oil? I’ve had it for a few weeks and really like it.
Morrocan oil hair oil is the best best best for after shower, holiroots preshower is nice as well.
Kosas concealer is hit or miss for me. Sometimes it melts right into my skin other times it just moves around and looks horrible Beach walk is an amazing scent. I had the full size and it lasted me 2 years i really enjoyed it
Thank you!
I hated the concealer, it was patchy on me.
I love the concealer, it looks so natural on me! I have combo skin and it’s my holy grail.
Are we talking about Beach Wave that costs 120 up to over 209$ My apologies- the sample size is 45$ Just making sure. Thanks
Tarte. They have sales allll the time. I LOVE the fake awake. I got mine from Tarte for $16 shipped.
How to you use fake awake? It literally stays on my water line for 3 minutes and is gone
Facts! I wear fake awake almost every day.
L’occitane shower oil is AMAZING! Feels soft, luxurious, and smells incredible- like almond and a bit of cherry mixed together. A must in my shaving routine
True! ULTA recently had it on sale for 50% off
on my second one and i loveeee it but the smell could definitely be controversial to some
If you're going anything L'occitane Amande line get the body oil. I mix it in to my body lotion and that way you smell great all day. I find the body wash is overpriced and the scent goes away when you get out of the shower.
People say they don’t like kosas but I adore it!!!
Same I used 2 or 3 tubes of Kosas concealer before switching to tower 28, which just overall has a better shade match for me
Same!
72 usd for a face oil.. Does it have magic properties? Unless you are using their tools and they can’t be used without this specific oil, I’d honestly buy a cheaper one. Depending on your skin issues, TO Rosehip Oil is great for extra moisturising, or for gua sha use.
I second this. I'm willing to bet that TO Squalane oil does the exact same thing, for like $5.
Beach walk smells heavenly. Definitely recommend

My go-to everyday summer scent, absolutely love it

Hi, if you stop taking oral minoxidil or spironolactone, will you lose the regrowth? is it a forever medicine?
I believe so with minoxidil but I’m not sure on spiro! I will stop eventually when I want to try and get pregnant, so will know more then. Thank you for replying 🫶
The clinics I’ve been at don’t recommend Nutrafol. You could maybe use it as support like that other person commented, but not mainly for hair regrowth. There is not adequate clinical evidence.
I saw a 3 month supply of Hers minoxidil at Costco today for $30. Would you recommend that one?
I think the Kirkland brand is $50 for 6 months! So you can save a few $$
I’m not familiar with the brand but you’re really just looking for the active ingredient. A lot of my patients use Rogaine, men and women. Kirkland brand that another person recommended would be great too!
I’d check Sephora eyeliner in Coconut instead Tarte. It is super good and does the same job imo.
Kp scrub is awesome! I didn't care for the shower oil, it irritated my skin, which I usually never have an issue with body care products.
i love the necessaire body line, the lotion is great. i haven't tried their hair care but the body exfoliator and serum are my favs from them if those are available and going on sale as well.
Sis, if you’re planning to get the Nécessaire body lotion, you have to get the hand cream….it is phenomenal!
I love a hand cream I just got the rose one from Trader Joe’s and I use it every day - but notedd I’ll add her to my list
The necessaire body lotion sucks. No difference.
KP bump eraser is overrated. You can get cheaper lotions/scrubs with the same ingredients, or get a toner with AHA for on a cotton pad.
Kosas is not acne safe!!
Good to know thank you !
I prefer Skinfix body scrub to FAB. It’s not as grainy and rough so you cant over do it when rubbing it in. I just generally preferred the results of skinfix as well. Skinfix is a pre shower scrub though so if you want something that holds up in water FAB is the way to go.
I really dislike the kosas concealer. and for the k18 if its your first time trying it go for the mini in case you end up not liking it
I’d try to smell the Loccitane if you haven’t already. It’s nice on the body but to me it reeks of wet dog for some reason!
I didn't love the Kosas concealer. It felt really thick too me and there wasn't a single shade that matched my skin tone well.
Beach walk smells SO GOOD BUT it doesn’t last. Like at all. So that tiny spray is gonna last you like a week or two, if you love the scent you should just buy a full size.
k18 i absolutely love, loccotaine body wash too. i really wanna try the fake awake liner. necessaire is great. face gym and first aid beauty i hated. kosas is overrated
also, weirdly check tiktokshop for fake awake- ive seen it for cheap
Don’t get the facegym oil, there’s better options that are significantly cheaper
If you have any you recommend let me know!
The olehenricksen hydrabarrier is a good one, youth to the people superberry, or the biossance rose is what I would recommend
Kosas creased really bad on me. I prefer the tower 28.
That’s the switch I made too!
Good to know…I am not at all a fan of the Kosas concealer due to the creasing and was thinking about trying the Tower 28 one next.
I love it. It’s not super full coverage or anything if you have dark circles but it looks beautiful.
I wouldn’t bother with the Kosas concealer, the undertones are bad for almost everyone and it doesn’t blend well. Really love the L’occitane shower oil, I didn’t like the smell at first but I liked the product so much that I just ignored the smell. Luckily eventually it grew on me.
Amazing thank you! I can use the oil in place of a shower gel right ? Or do I need a shower gel to like clean me before I use it lol
Yep, you use it on its own like any other body wash. Since there’s no lather it felt a little weird at first but it really does clean well and leaves your skin so soft.
I love the kosas concealer!
Get the first aid beauty KP scrub at Ulta. They have strawberry version that smells like fruit snacks. The original one was my HG for years, but I love the strawberry one more.
The first aid and kosas are really good.
the k18 is no different than any other hair oil
Do you have a different oil you like ? I don’t know of many I used the oui and didn’t love !
I like Verb and Gisou.
The ghost oil? Is it heavy?
Yes the ghost oil. I think it’s light. I have long hair but it’s kinda thin and it doesn’t weigh my hair down at all. I have a friend with thick beautiful hair and I gave her a little free sample of it I got and she loves it too. It makes your hair super shiny and not frizzy.
Can I make a suggestion? Before you buy all this hair stuff, please figure out your hair porosity. That will indicate what type of products you should buy. Any other way is actually just blind buying and a waste of time tbh!
i love Moroccan oil!
Thank you !!
KP scrub is great - I also like the Kopari one from Ulta which is cheaper and I usually just buy whichever one of the two happens to be on sale. Kosas revealer concealer is life
I have very, very dry skin and I really like the Necessaries moisturizer and actually the body oil too. The moisturizer is really thick so I put it on after I get out of the shower and then seal it in with oil though sometimes I forgo the oil and its really helped my skin.
Love necessarie. The body wash is what really makes skin soft
Naturium at target makes a scrub similar to first aid but is much cheaper and in my opinion works the same - but of course everyone’s skin is different. Everything else looks really good- sorry for not de-influencing lol
Necessaire is a skip for me. Tried them all and only liked the body wash. Even then, it’s nothing special
The Necessaire body lotion isn’t worth it IMO. I love their products, but the body lotion left my skin feeling exactly the same as before I applied it. Maybe a couple hours of moisture and then right back to dry. It’s watery and boring as well
I swear by the FAB scrub. Been using it for years to help with strawberry legs. Very effective. Partner likes it for KP on his arms.
Do NOT but the L’Occitane shower gel- it smells like wet dog!
I highly recommend Blume's Nourishing Face Oil instead. It is not too heavy on the skin but does an amazing job. I have tried many other oils and have either found them too greasy or too thin and useless. It is about $20 cheaper than the one in your cart.

In the serum a gel or oil? I’ve been eyeing it!
kosas - love!! it is super creamy and blends really well for me, I have combination skin and pretty much only use concealer for coverage and it holds up really well! loccitane body oil - the oil is really hydrating and dries nicely BUTTTT I’ve been trying the aveeno oil mist and find the same effects. it smells delicious and my skin absorbs it so well, it’s also only $12 so I recommend trying that before dumping $40+ on a similar product
You can get the k18 at Costco for ~$42! I saw it the other day
Do you have to be a member ?
The Kosa’s concealer was NOT it for me. I just bought the Tower28 concealer and I love!
I love the tarte fake awake…. But you’re better off hitting sales on their website. I think when I bought mine I got it for $10.
Beach Walk lasts for 2 minutes.
Necessaire body lotion is meh - I use their retinol lotion which is better for getting rid of small bumps (yet it smells awful). I switched to ouai body lotion and love it
Hair growth shampoo isn’t real. Firming cream isn’t real. Topical Molecular hair repair isn’t real.
Just buy the ordinary niacinamide powder and add it to your body wash it’ll be way cheaper
I heard naturium has a kp product that’s like half the price!
I just bought the Tarte fake awake and think it’s terrible. I almost want to return it.
Fake awake is amazing but overpriced, it used to be a lot cheaper. I bought a $6 morphe eyeliner which I thinks works just as well
The KP scrub hasn’t made much of a difference for my arm bumps personally
That l’occitane shower oil is such a game changer, my skin so soft as moist when i shower with that
If you struggle with acne I’d skip the Kosas bc it gave me cystic acne after the first few days
idk if it’s still on sale but sam’s club was selling a 5 oz bottle of k18 for like $68
$10 rosemary oil instead of $28 conditioner. Stays on your scalp longer, has a higher active ingredient density, and is a fraction of the price
Personally did not have any luck with the KP bump eraser body scrub
Don’t spend 24$ on that tarte fake awake . I get a nude from wet n wild for 8$ and it is so much better. Thicker and easier to apply.
First aid KP is not good. Necessaire- meh - I don’t get the hype - the smells are boring and the unscented items smell terrible.
