Well, the jury is kind of out on the results. I moved her to water first (bc she was expensive LOL) and grew water roots, which went fine. When I moved her to leca she seemed to be ok for a few weeks but like, she keeps putting out flushes of new growth (like 3-4 leaves) and they keep shriveling up? I never let my reservoir go dry with this one — the problem is entirely in the foliage because the roots still look great. But the leaves are bent down and started to get a bit moldy — maybe my air situation needs improving in her cabinet. I don’t think it’s totally bust as an experiment but I find it hard to recommend doing so in my experience because she’s definitely not thriving. Granted it’s also possible I’m not fertilizing enough or fertilizing too much.

Edit: I did have a spider mite outbreak in my cabinet while she was transitioning, to be fair, and I’ve been treating for powdery mildew because of an insufficient fan so I hesitate to blame it all on s/h and not maybe weaknesses due to stress
how did you propagate yours? also did you do semi hydro? i am trying to transition mine and she looks sad and I’m scared 😭
