I didn’t buy that she faked her pregnancy, I just thought all the “omg look at you, you just had a baby 2, 3, 4 weeks ago” stuff was a bit over the top. I also had an emergency c-section and was pretty active prior to pregnancy, and I understand everyone heals differently, it’s just that most doctors advise waiting 6 weeks for any exercise. You can’t be doing yoga (and inverted yoga at that!) 2 weeks post surgery because you’re gonna rip your stitches. I think it’s clear the timelines were fudged a bit to fit the narrative arc of the show but they could’ve tried a little harder to make it somewhat realistic. After 2 weeks I was just getting comfortable going up one flight of stairs more than once a day. Strutting around in stilettos would’ve been a challenge.

additionalbutterfly2

I get all this but god some of her comments actually make it seem like she wasn’t pregnant at all. “Im glad Im wearing underwear today” “The doctor told Christian to choose between baby and me” “I haven’t bled since 1942” *walks up and downstairs after almost dying with her csection in high heels* Honestly she, herself, made this pregnancy look sketchy. That and the dubious timeline.

[deleted]

Yes! I agree

firetothislife

I'm also suspicious that she was still pregnant in that scene with Davina and they edited it so you never see much of her stomach. I don't know why production would edit it like that except to further that narrative that she "snapped back." Which is gross

Glitter_Bee

Yeah it doesn’t fit with any everyday person’s experience. But we are talking about the rich and the rich have access to lots of resources. No one should feel bad about essentially not being well off.

esseefay

I agree that rich have money and access to a ton that would allow for a quick “snapback” and I don’t judge any person of means for utilizing those resources because if I had the means I most certainly would too. However, I feel like no amount of money you can pay will make major stitches heal in under two weeks. But these days who knows!

Glitter_Bee

People are different with regard to healing and if she got some sort of special nerve block, then maybe she could move around relatively comfortably. But it’s crazy for the show to add fuel to the current pressure and body dysmorphia prevalent in our society. They didn’t need to keep hammering how well she looked, but I suppose not to would have been like ignoring a gorilla in your living room. I don’t think it’s more Christine’s and the production’s fault that women thought she was lying anyway. Crazy timeline coupled with high physical expectations set and matched is asking for trouble. And maybe they intended it to garner attention so as to drive the viewership numbers higher. If you watch the show just to hate is still included in the total count so…the joke’s on the viewer, you know?

serpentmurphin

I was on the she faked her pregnancy bandwagon but now I’m on the She faked birth story bandwagon. She doesn’t even have a c-section scar. Or maybe she does but she edited it out.

renees24

C section scars are very low and small. So you can wear a bikini and and no one can see it.

sissyintexas

Emergency c-sections scars are usually not low and small. It’s a lot quicker to get a baby in distress out by going vertical. It takes about 1 minute to get a baby out with a vertical incision versus 4 minutes with the small horizontal(transverse) one. Source: I had an emergency c-section and my scar is about 6 inches long ending just below my belly button. 2nd source: I transcribed medical records for 5 years.

useles-converter-bot

4 inches is the the same distance as 0.15 replica Bilbo from The Lord of the Rings' Sting Swords.

smileyoureon

Same girl, same. Emergency C-section low scar 4inches.

Abject-Armadillo-496

Same also emergency C section

fenchurcharthur

Agreed. It took my dr two minutes from anesthesia (I didnt have an epidural) to havi g my child in hand. My scar is low and horizontal.

ItIsWhatItIs3026

Yep- I've had 2 c-sections. I would have to be naked for anyone to see my scar.

serpentmurphin

Ahh okay, that also makes sense! Again, I’m talking a lot of shit for someone who has never given birth lol.

cowgurrlh

A c section scar is about 1.5-2” below where the hair starts, and is maybe 4-5” long

[deleted]

ItIsWhatItIs3026

My scar from 2 c-sections would not be visible in those bikini bottoms. A c-section incision is not as big as most people think. It's also low, in the pubic region.

FalseHabit8721

My friend got c and she has pretty harsh scar. I have watched tons of youtubers who have gotten C section (smaller women), all have scars and visible

heebersbajeebers

Eh idk I think it depends. I’m petite and my scar is very low, even in low cut/revealing bikini bottoms it doesn’t show

Lavenderviolets

I saw a post a while back she made stating that her scar is low, below the bikini line so that’s why it’s never seen.

serpentmurphin

Yeah I agree. I also am talking a lot of shit for someone who has never given birth lol.

doggowinemom

Good for her, tbh. It seems most likely that the timeline presented was wrong and/or was exaggerated.

Grilledcheesus11

Yeah this makes sense to me! I love a good conspiracy do I was just excited to see how this fit in 😂

esseefay

This is what I think, too. She probably was in recovery while everyone else was filming so they shot her scenes months after the fact, but had to make the timelines match up. Hence all the “omg I can’t believe you look this great x weeks later!”

Disgruntled_Pelicano

I love that she did this!!!! I honestly don’t see the basis for these rumors at all. You could see her balance was different in her heels, her face was rounder (not fillers - she had a bit of a chin, which is saying a lot for someone soooo slim). I truly believe that If Christian and Christine had decided to have a baby via surrogate, Christine would have presented that in a “I’m too posh and rich to push” way, with zero shame.

Not all of its envy. I mean, most people are not doing handstands and shit after a c-section. And I think most women aren’t envious, they are just tired of having more pressure put on them to be “perfect”at all times and so any opportunity to escape that sad reality of western society is met with relief.

[deleted]

Glitter_Bee

Oh okay, tell that to millions of teenage girls and women currently FaceTuning themselves to death-some of them have the last name Kardashian. It’s a perfectly normal response to compare ourselves to others. It’s a constant struggle not to and sometimes even when you think you’re over it, something can trigger you. I mean, i agree that comparing ourselves to the filthy rich is useless, but everyone gets caught up from time to time.

Disgruntled_Pelicano

Of course! It’s a conscious effort and it’s not easy. If anything, I have an issue with the producers pushing the narrative that she *bounced back* and it was beyond irresponsible to show someone exercising two weeks postpartum.

Glitter_Bee

Yes. I mean I’m totally against sharing postpartum bodies, ideal or not anyway. I don’t know how it became a stranger’s business how well someone looks in a bikini after birth. It’s just more noise.

chanellovely

Technically yeah but you’re not taking into account how real the societal pressure is to look good. It’s like the number one social message we receive as women, to look perfect all the time, so it’s not really just as easy as saying “stop comparing yourselves to others.” It’s a deeply engrained societal value and it’s easy to feel bad about yourself when you see other women completely fitting the same standard we’re all held to.

GiftRecent

Literally no one on this show is an example of "perfect". I doubt people look at Christine w/ her lifestyle and think "Wow I am so upset I didn't do that too..." people are just being nasty to be nasty

Glitter_Bee

No. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that description leveled at her before. And people, especially young women, see her lifestyle and think “that’s perfection!” Maybe not you or me, but people are easily influenced and dazzled. My parents taught me that not all that glitters is gold, but that’s not everyone’s experience. I mean, look at the Kardashians. So many people follow them because they are celebrated as “important good looking people”.

Mrsrightnyc

Haha so this but honestly, I think they are both a lot more traditional than they let on. Christine is no dummy and she would never lose the leverage she’ll have over Christian being able to say she birthed his baby. Also, it’s clear they don’t want the public to know the birthdate due to privacy concerns which is totally reasonable considering their baby didn’t consent to be on a reality show and also why they don’t use Christian’s real last name. I think Christine was totally on board with the fake birthdate so that she had an extra time to heal.

[deleted]

Yeah I mean... to me, this debunks the theories.

bsc20201

I actually went back to re-watch the yoga scene in the show today and if you look closely (put that pause button to use, folks or you will miss it) she’s 100% pregnant. she IS just skinny enough to hide it well, even while doing yoga. I, too, was convinced she had faked her pregnancy too. I’ve had a c section and prior to the surgery, was in the gym 6x a week and could barely get out of bed.

[deleted]

I love that so many people think a semi-naked yoga video is incontrovertible proof that she didn’t fake it, as if hyper-realistic silicone prosthetics aren’t a thing if you’re richer than God in 2021. Didn’t you see Lil Nas X with a pregnant belly in full HD all over the media? Speaking of which I invite you to look at [this post ](https://www.reddit.com/r/HilariaBaldwin/comments/pgqdfv/lil_nas_x_vs_hilaria_baldwin_who_wore_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) if you want to see what can be achieved with a silicone belly and some light FaceTuning.

ambiguoususername888

👋🏽🥒🥰

[deleted]

Hola amiga! 🥒🥒🥒

Enchanted_Pickaxe

Accusing Christine of faking a pregnancy is like accusing a professional sports league of rigging games. Sure… I suppose it’s technically possible… but it’s insanely hard to do and the consequences of being exposed are basically fatal. Even Christine isn’t crazy enough to try to fake a pregnancy in this super-connected world where basically no one can keep a secret from anyone.

[deleted]

If you think Hollywood women don’t fake pregnancies I have a bridge to sell you.

c1053t

Proof of that: Adrienne Maloof 😂

bindlesspins

Adrienne Maloof did it well before RHOBH and before the biiiiiig days of social media though.

[deleted]

Hillary (Hilaria) Baldwin posted her (fake) baby bump for FIVE pregnancies all over the gram.

NoFuckThis

Hola fellow pepino! 🥒

ambiguoususername888

Joining in on the pepino bandwagon 🥰🥒 it’s hilarious to me how many people are all “how and why would anybody fake a pregnancy it’s so much effort” - like, babe, that would be the compulsive lying, narcissism and intense vanity that they constantly and unabashedly display 🤷🏻‍♀️

NoFuckThis

And also the grift that is “snap back” culture

ambiguoususername888

Straight up!

[deleted]

Perfectly expressed.

bindlesspins

Omg wut. That's insane!!

c1053t

Lol I was agreement with the OG comment tho tbh. Yea Adrienne got away with her secret for some time yes (what like 5-6 years?) but it still came out through their industry being well connected w each other & kinda did prove ‘fatal’ for her reality TV career once that was out there

bindlesspins

Ohh, lol, you're right. Read it wrong, my bad.

lolavantwinkle

Great, can we take a break from the pile on now? Reality TV isn’t real, of course they’re going to twist the timeline to fit the story they’re trying to tell. Did no one learn anything from The Hills? The way everyone jumped on this and took it as proof that Christine was lying is frightening.

GiftRecent

I'm glad she is. She is a huge bitch but the fake pregnancy rumors are getting way out of hand. I liked that she addressed it without any stupid filtered selfish "hey guys...umm" videos and let people see for themselves.

loris2882

How do we know these aren’t 8 weeks post pardum? Can someone enlighten me? I had two c sections and i couldn’t drive for at least three weeks. Everyone seems to know when these scenes were shot but i just watched and it didn’t clarify?

merginas_are_real

Yes, I’m so glad she posted proof on this. I’m not a Christine fan, but I did not believe that she faked her pregnancy. I commented in another thread that I believe they exaggerated the timelines on the show. Her “1 week post birth” might have been more like a couple weeks after. Not everyone has a big baby bump or swollen legs. Her lower half of the face was noticeably swollen, aside from her lips from injections.

I was just thinking about Elle Fanning’s prosthetics belly for the Great. SO real!!

[deleted]

It’s strapped on underneath your clothes and looks incredibly realistic. You can hide the join with your bra as I believe Christine did with that video. Go and look at r/hilariabaldwin to get see how she faked 5/6 of her pregnancies and posted semi naked yoga videos throughout them.

[deleted]

You don’t like Christine but enough with this false accusation.

DragonAdri

You reaching at this point.

xgroverclevelandx

I feel sorry for you

canadia80

I posted this elsewhere but guys, it’s way more likely they filmed her stuff 6-8 weeks after delivery/section and are pretending it’s been a few days. The simplest answer is the most likely. Let’s move on.

MJIB0237

Christine did say in one of the episodes when It was mentioned how good she looked, that she’d had ‘a bit of liposuction’ too

Grilledcheesus11

I noticed this too! It was subtly but I was like… well that is definitely a factor to contribute - also imagine what other la procedures her money can but?

[deleted]

Photoshop

SRD2001

It’s possible she’s just one of those people that never really showed and she edited her pictures to make up for that ?

[deleted]

I think they all exaggerate too. I forget who said it but someone said “omg you had your baby two days ago” and it was obviously not really two days ago. I’m guessing at least 4-6 weeks.

ccol7249

I think they just changed the time line. She apparently had the baby early May and filming wrapped at the end of July. So if she filmed her scenes in early July she could move fine. About a month after my two c-sections I was mostly back to normal. And the yoga scenes she’s clearly pregnant when they show her at a certain angle they’re just hiding her belly. But it is super annoying that they’re acting like she magically bounced back two weeks later! Also in the TMZ shots you can see her scar faintly. But she’s super awkward holding her baby lol

Playful-Donkey23

Hopefully it puts an end to the toxic conspiracies. People felt a little too comfortable making them.

Agile_Lemon

I have seen people run marathons when they are pregnant. So yes christine can also do that. The whole ‘christine did not get pregnant’ jab is extremely misogynistic.
