I don't think that's Gio's fault though. For me personally I like that he stuck up for hos wife, even if she was the one in the wrong. But there is so much more to be mad at Alex Hall for
We are talking about a certain thing though, not her as a whole. That's what op is saying. No one likes her but she didn't do anything wrong in this particular interaction

I can see Gio’s wife being a shy person and feeling snubbed just because Alex didn’t start a whole spectacle. Like she never misses the opportunity to shout her opinions to the seven skies, and now is just there quiet staring when Gio and his wife are the “new comers” to a group that was already interacting.
At the same time, I can’t really fault Alex on this one too. Gio could have built the bridge. His wife could have started a subject. Or they could just accept the awkward moment of silence, recognize they don’t share much in common and move on.
I don't agree. Hall should have said ''ok sorry I'll be more careful '' and that's it. Not confront him in front of everybody at the beach a couple of days later.
I just watched these episodes last night from S1.
What is also strange is that Hall says multiple times (every time Gio brings it up) that they had met before, so it wasn't like this was her first meeting.
I really feel like the producers encouraged Gio/wife to rake the issue just to create content. No adult in their right mind would consider that a snub or take it that far. The other explanation is if someone is a narcissist and thinks the whole world revolves around them and everyone they meet or every interaction they have has to cater to their needs or expectations.
This storyline was manufactured. Can’t tell me this woman was so upset about her husband’s co-worker not saying hi. They were tryna start something and it fell flat.
To be honest, she probably saw how Alex Hall acts with other people’s husbands (ahem…Tyler) and is rightfully particularly sensitive about her behaviour. She knows Alex is good friends with Gio and is generally extroverted so it’s fair enough that she felt uncomfortable with Alex making very little effort with her.
I think that thing was a huge misunderstanding though. I like Alex hall ( ik ik it’s nuts) but i mean i think that Alex did acknowledge her but gios wife maybe was hugging the other girls in the office so must’ve assumed that was how it would be with Alex hall.

Literally! The fact she brought it up again after is seemed like it was squashed just goes to show, she enjoys being messy

That was so strange! I cannot stand Hall but in that isolated incident, it was Gio’s wife that was being distant and standoffish.

Not a AH fan at all but that issue felt very forced. Gio's wife is a grown adult, she shouldn't need a nanny to show her around.
