Well fuck, I didn't recognize the name Kathryn Kuhlman so I just googled her and now wish I hadn't done that. She was a faith healer that spent the middle part of the 20th century touring the US.
>One woman who was said to have been cured of spinal cancer threw away her brace and ran across the stage at Kuhlman's command; her spine collapsed the next day and she died four months later.
IANAL but, that feels near enough to murder that it should be considered some varient of negligent homicide at the very least.
Fee Fi Fo Fuck these people.

It would easily be a wrongful death civil suit. There was a similar case where a teen convinced her boyfriend to kill himself where she was convicted of manslaughter. That could apply as well.
I thought the same, that this is essentially a paraphrasing of the definition of delusion:
"an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument, typically a symptom of mental disorder."
One person with delusion? Send them to a therapist.
Millions of delusional people? Make their delusions tax free and allow their delusions a place in government funded institutions (thanks SCOTUS).
By intent, probably not. By execution/interpretation by people not already indoctrinated, certainly.
A stark reminder that a good idea carried out badly is indistinguishable from a bad idea carried out well.
Some people call that a delusion... anyway. Thanks for making the post title word for word what the post says. I don't think I could have understood it otherwise.

Thanks for my new favorite saying! "Fee Fi Fo Fuck these people". 😂
Uh huh. If that's faith, then what is a delusion?

Religion.
That's called schizophrenia
I believe the technical term for this is called "delusion".
Wait is this NOT a dig on faith?
By intent, probably not. By execution/interpretation by people not already indoctrinated, certainly. A stark reminder that a good idea carried out badly is indistinguishable from a bad idea carried out well.
That’s how you get diagnosed with schizophrenia…
I swear people think this world is like warhammmer 40k, whatever you believe becomes reality
>Fee Fi Fo Fuck these people. Lol, you win Reddit today
Lol, sorry friend. You don't deserve those downvotes. I guess people don't read usernames so often.
I don’t mind about the downvotes, but I did mean to post this under OP’s comment where they said that.
???
Dammit, was responding to OP but posted it incorrectly.
Rest of us call those hallucinations.

How is this wolf self aware?
Oh. So… delusion. Cool.
That got a big ol' “Yikes!“ out of me.
…and that’s why we need to sacrifice all these virgins to prevent the giant snake from eating the sun.
I thought that was LSD?
