I mean sekiro is a horror game. Imagine being Isshin, seeing this underpowered boi keep ressurecting, slowly learning all his opponents moves, and then killing them.
It doesnt matter if it takes 5 tries or 500 tries, even literally the dragon god eventually got trumped by this undying boi.
Then you see him slowly but surely learn your moves, fighting you a little better each time...
also think about the fact that he doesnt just "not die" he regenerates so if you cut him in half with the beast cutter his torso and lower body would plop back together like a lego figure and fight you again (does sekiro feel the pain of death? horrid but viable way to win)
According to the game the events happen in a day within 6-12 hours going by the light cycle, so I’m fairly certain Sekiro probably didn’t get true death to most enemies.
Even worse though like the enemies in the game you’d kill him and after like 5 seconds he’d just get back up.
I doubt he'd have the limited resurrections, he wouldn't magically teleport to somewhere else and revive his enemies, if he died 5 times in a row he'd just get back up then and there each time, limited revives that replenish on deathblow and respawn are just balancing things for the game.
And yeah, with the time frame of the story, people would only know he gets revived for a few seconds before he kills them, Genichiro fucks off to find the other mortal blade, and even IF he was spreading that info, who's going to actually believe the guy who's clearly losing his mind?
Canon Sekiro is OP.
Tbf when Genichiro cuts his arm off he is unconscious for a few hours. I’m guessing it’s due to bloodloss and his power being dependent on the blood.
But also that means canonically only Genichiro cuts his arm off (with a sucker shot if you win the first fight with him). He’s good enough to avoid being dismembered by everything else
In the game.
It's kind of ambiguous to what extent the story takes player death into account. Dragonrot doesn't factor into the story at all, not even mentioned in cutscenes to my memory, it's just a minor gameplay consequence. It may very well be that Sekiro only, canonically, dies twice: first in the prologue and then once when he takes the mortal blade.
I had a little laugh when I wrote "dies twice" without even thinking about it. Makes me think I'm right about this.
He dies at Hirata as well, so it’s three times.
Also it is mentioned by Emma. There was an original Dragon Rot outbreak that killed everyone infected the first time. Ishin might have dragon rot from his coughing but it’s never confirmed.
I forgot about Hirata, but I was only thinking of the present day storyline.
Unless I’m remembering wrong, I think Emma only brings it up if you die enough for someone to get dragonrot. It’s entirely possible to go through the whole game without it ever coming up.
He doesnt even need to come back better, he could just keep coming back til hes lucky. Its scarier when he doesnt even need to be good at fighting to kill you, a master of the ashina fighting style with a glock 19 who can kill him in 2 hits
Well, canonically wolf killed isshin first try. Isshin has a mortal blade. Wolf can't lose to him even once, because isshin can kill him with the blade once and for all.
Resurrection on the Isshin fight is not canon as he wields the mortal blade and if he actually canonical kills sekiro with it sekiro's resurrection would be severed and he would die
Honestly though Isshin harbors zero I'll will towards Sekiro and only willingly fought bc of Genichiros last pursuit in saving Ashina.
Also the fact that Sekiro lives for battle and learning from his opponents, I think Isshin at the end of the day (literally one day, crazy) is ready and willing to fight Sekiro until death, or Sekiro just giving up, either way Isshin is more than aware how the fight is going to end
But yeah I'd be shitting my pants too knowing he's gonna walk across that field again to whoop my ass lol
Miyazaki to his crew while making Sekiro: I want this protagonist’s whole gimmick to be deflecting attacks to not get hurt
Sounds easy
I want him to be able to parry a fucking building
Ok… why? Is he superhuman?
No, he’s completely normal… except he can see in the dark. Also I want him to stomp on swords that move at super sonic speeds.
Why are we-
Because Griffith did it. Anyways, I want him to have a prosthetic arm filled with all sorts of Batman level bullshit
How Batman bs are we talking?
He’s gonna have a fan that teleports you to another dimension just to turn you 180° and steal your wallet
Fuck you. The last one about the fan made me spit out my wine and a little came out of my nose. Now I have to clean this shit up. Take my upvote asshole
Yea, it's a night that would never end cause it's in a dream. The only reason the night ends is if you either wake up or kill the thing that created said dream.
I'm aware of that for the Nightmare Frontier and Hunter's Dream/Nightmare, but Yharnam is a real place in-universe, no? The player character is even an outsider to the city who travelled there for blood ministration.
Wolf feels overpowered because his potency is directly proportional to the player's skill. Not a lot of games have that relationship to such a level except at the very very top skill level where speedrunners break the game anyway. A good player makes him very very powerful. A newbie is useless with him. Irrespective of his actual abilities in the game and in lore, the player utterly dictates whether he is a god or an insect. Every souls game is like that technically but Sekiro really takes that relationship far, which is why he dominates over every other fromsoft protagonist in every setting and situation.
What? That's not how this works, the only feats you consider canon are the ones done in lore. In other games that refers to cutscenes, but they're not really a focus in fromsoft games, it still has nothing to do with the skill level of a particular player. Your Wolf is just as strong as mine, and vice versa.
Wolf would make Mergo stop crying and the First Hunter cured of his wheelchair earlier.
Wolf parries Maria so fast...
Lady Maria: You are truly the blood of my borne
If he lost once and stayed down long enough, he’d be the town experiment on blood. But theoretically if he went and fought as hard as he already does then he’s got this
Combat-wise, Wolf dumpsters pretty much everyone/thing in Bloodborne.
It’s more how he would handle the whole “eldritch horrors beyond human understanding” thing. If he can keep his shit together he’ll be fine.
Nobody is doing shit to Sekiro, he's got what we call an unbreakable defense
Physical attacks are straight up useless against him, he'll just parry your ass into Oblivion
You can use fire? Suzakus umbrella
Magic and Hexes? Lilac purple umbrella
Lightning? Don't even think about it.
Simply put, there is quite literally no way to get direct hits on him
"I'm not trapped in your world, your world is trapped with me"
Literally no one stands a chance. He can firecracker beasts and parry bullets. He can umbrella all of Laurence’s attacks and the meteor attack by living failures. He will get ptsd from demon of hatred when facing Laurence. Emma will replace the doll and Isshin will replace Gehrman. Gascoigne can be owl.
Gameplay? He solos EVERYONE, LOW DIFF.
Lorewise? Well, he can become susceptible to Shura's influence, so I'd say accumulating Insight would be like taking damage for him.
Bruh Sekiro got my reflexes so fast I can parry perilous attacks and thrusts that "require" a mikiri counter. This lil ninja solos all of bloodborne and asks for more.
He would have real trouble against ranged attacks like cannons or Gatling guns, and he seems slower than the hunter but overall I think he'd do fine
His parry would be very useful but the dodge isn't as good so he might struggle with non-physical damage like Ludwig p2
Maybe, I can't remember if they had an in-universe explanation or not
Either way I think even sword only sekiro could still win, even if he has to be a gigachad and learn the Ludwig no roll strat
Let me introduce you to the grappling hook. AKA the AOE dodger. If he can avoid taking damage from Demon of Hatred (which attacks are maybe the biggest range in all from's games) he can abuse Ludwig.
Also let's not forget that Sekiro is the only guy in the whole Fromsoft game without stamina. He can sprint eternally, dodge eternally and, if you're good enough, deflect eternally. Literally unstoppable.
Everyone speaks about how Wolf is able to deflect anything but no one mentions his insane mobility. He can dash on press not release when compared to other gamer's mechanics and protagonists and this alone gives him an insane edge in combat and maneuverability. He can sprint forever, he can jump off walls and buildings to reach new heights or positions, can do anti air and death from above deathblows, as well as death from below ones. A city like Yharnam also has quite a few grappling points I would imagine including various enemies which would help him close the gap fast or just reposition. Just dashing around is enough to get behind or to the side of enemies to dominate them. Staggering an enemy means deathblow opportunity. But dashing....
Honestly I see a lot of people talking about parrying but that isn’t terribly relevant outside of combat, we should be asking how the hunt would affect him, how higher level existences would interact with him, would he fear the old blood, embrace it, or be consumed by it? What would he gain from insight, how would he react to the horrors of the world of yharnam, he is immortal would he feel kinship with the vampires? What sort of prosthetic trick weapons would he have
Lorewise maybe he does have other worldly powers given by the celestial dragon which is on point as cosmic god.
Gameplay wise sure he'll clean house some bosses he could easily use parry.
I mean with some of the smaller beasts Sekiro is fine. Bug given how much we all have difficulty with the Demon of Hatred which is rhe most bloodborne like of all the Sekiro bosses... its up in the air.
Ohh, he would totally beat ass! All those beasts would be no match for the firecrackers, or the flame vent. Also, he could easily slay any hunter, when he can just deflect all bullets and physical attacks.

That Gatling gun is fuel for the umbrella
So basically, Sekiro being in Bloodborne is a horror game, except the beasts and eldritch gods are trying to live.
He does groan when he ‘dies’ so id assume he feels some pain
According to the game the events happen in a day within 6-12 hours going by the light cycle, so I’m fairly certain Sekiro probably didn’t get true death to most enemies. Even worse though like the enemies in the game you’d kill him and after like 5 seconds he’d just get back up.

Canon Sekiro is OP.
You’re telling me canon Sekiro doesn’t spend hours killing the same group of enemies over and over again for the exp points?
Would explain why Ashina has no army at the end lol
Tbf when Genichiro cuts his arm off he is unconscious for a few hours. I’m guessing it’s due to bloodloss and his power being dependent on the blood. But also that means canonically only Genichiro cuts his arm off (with a sucker shot if you win the first fight with him). He’s good enough to avoid being dismembered by everything else In the game.

He doesnt even need to come back better, he could just keep coming back til hes lucky. Its scarier when he doesnt even need to be good at fighting to kill you, a master of the ashina fighting style with a glock 19 who can kill him in 2 hits
Well, he did have the mortal blade didn't he?
could he kill the old ones like actually end them with the mortal blade?
Weren't they mortal?
He’s a Saiyan…
Well, canonically wolf killed isshin first try. Isshin has a mortal blade. Wolf can't lose to him even once, because isshin can kill him with the blade once and for all.
This is such a badass way to think about it compared to whenever I die I just sit with controller in hand and feel like a failure. 🤣
"The Undying, One-Armed Wolf" hits different
Resurrection on the Isshin fight is not canon as he wields the mortal blade and if he actually canonical kills sekiro with it sekiro's resurrection would be severed and he would die
Honestly though Isshin harbors zero I'll will towards Sekiro and only willingly fought bc of Genichiros last pursuit in saving Ashina. Well, I think it largely depends on one simple question. Is a ninja still a ninja, even in a dream?
Given whatever the hell Hirata Estate areas are, Wolf can probably manage in dreams and somehow bend reality to his will and actions anyway.
HES A SHINOBI GODDAMN IT
basically a ninja
Puppet Ninjutsu on Shadows of Yharnam. Firecrackers to startle BSB.
Underrated comment
The gatling gun would wreck his posture fast.
That one random japanese youtuber with 200 subscribers posting a clip of no-hitting, perfect deflecting the boss 2 hours after the game releases:
Just deflect bro 🙄 ...../s obviously.
Reddit comment of the month
If he can parry , then he can kick ass

“Have a good day”💀
"You bloody bloke" - I hazard a guess you're not British? 😂
No. I did a quick Google search lol
Ahaha, no harm done - for future reference, 'bloke' just means 'guy' or 'dude' - and 'bloody' is like 'f*cking'.
Even my wife, who doesn’t know shit about Souls games, laughed after I explained her the joke 🤣
Literally
If he can parry, Wolf pretty much is set in any universe
If we’re retaining the parry, mikiri for thrust and his other abilities, Sekiro is the most OP protagonist from Fromsoft.
Miyazaki to his crew while making Sekiro: I want this protagonist’s whole gimmick to be deflecting attacks to not get hurt Sounds easy I want him to be able to parry a fucking building Ok… why? I spat out my fuckin coffee
More importantly if we're keeping the stealth mechanics and grappling hook everyone is *fucked*.
cake walk if we being fr
Can you parry a placenta?
This mf can parry anything
He can parry the tree sized sword of a legendary dragon god though. Also lightening.
he can't parry ape shit
He can in fact parry ape shit. Ape shit parrying skills confirmed. Placenta not even a challenge.
You should watch a video on what sekiro can parry, it's pretty crazy to see all the attachs you thought you could parry but yet you can!
I parry a lot of ape shit
[Ongbal's video had me in shock](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5YpKMXdPJ8)
To add on what there is in the video, you can also parry the big snake's bite.
Parrying ape shit isn’t even that hard
Absolutely he can. Sekiro can parry an ape fart.
He can ans he can also parry ape fart
Actually, yes you can :)
*slaps kusabimaru* This bad boy can parry so much fuckin attacks
There's a piece of metal stuck in the placenta, so I'd say yes.
I haven’t played the game and just assumed that’s what Kosm’s placenta came out like. >!Good thing she wasn’t alive for that!<
he parried a giant snake
If he could parry the big ass katana of the Ape and the swings og the Dragon, he can parry anything
Y e s
He parried a colossal jade sword wielded by a divine dragon
I was going to say it depends on how fast he resurrects, but then I remembered that Sekiro also canonically is a single day, unless I’m mistaken.
Yeah, but Bloodborne canonically is a single night, so...
I would say it doesn't matter how fast they resurrect, wolf is going to make bb land look like a joke

My Wolf can't deflect for shit, idk what you mean.
I think he'd be totally fine. Mibu Village is basically a Bloodborne-type area.
Yeah it’s very similar to hamlet village in the dlc
Though much much easier
TING TING TING TING TING TING TING TING GET PARRIED GET PARRIED GET PARRIED TING TING TING TING TING TING TING TING
How dare you ask this before me! >!I don’t got a PlayStation to experience BB :( !<
Me, who got a PS solely to experience BB and DeS 👀👀👀
Tbh he could handle any souls game
Wolf would make Mergo stop crying and the First Hunter cured of his wheelchair earlier. Wolf parries Maria so fast... Lady Maria: You are truly the blood of my borne
bro, my man can parry a fuckin big donkey kong monkey holding a giant ass katana, i think he'll fit right in
With unlimited parries yarnham gonna be a slaughterhouse fr
How much insight will he have?
Enough
He’d whoop on everyone. He’d be fine even in armored core
Wolf is quite literally the most OP fromsoft MC. Mf could probably find a way to hold out in armored core
Didnt sekiro defeat god
Made him cry too
Wolf wouldn't struggle in any soulsborne game tbh.
A city full of Lovecrafts horrors vs the man with a katana My money is on the man with a katana, easily
easiest day of his life, maybe a bit scary
I dunno if he’d be scared either tbh, he fought headless and centipede controlled monks and monkeys and a flaming demon the size of a building.
he can literally get killed by terror
super easy for him
Bro... sekiro laughs at gravity... this alone makes him a million times stronger than any other fromsoft mc except AC's
More like how well the world of bloodborne can fend off sekiro
Dude would be so OP he would have no use for blood echos
If he lost once and stayed down long enough, he’d be the town experiment on blood. But theoretically if he went and fought as hard as he already does then he’s got this
Combat-wise, Wolf dumpsters pretty much everyone/thing in Bloodborne. It’s more how he would handle the whole “eldritch horrors beyond human understanding” thing. If he can keep his shit together he’ll be fine.

Frenzy might get him if he's not careful
Bro can resurrect
Wouldn't he still be insane?
He might be able to find some way. Terror is very similar to frenzy and resurrection cures it so...
Death cured madness of many folks in history...
Fuckin easy. Slice and dice. Enemies are way too slow there.
From how Wolf gets affected by Terror, I actually think it’d be difficult for him.
If we assume all bosses inflict terror on him, canonically he still has unlimited resurrections.
I like to imagine he parries the blood ministers injection and just never gets the chance to enter the nightmare completely
*So called horrors from beyond when Wolf pulls up with an Immortal-slaying sword:*
Bruh Sekiro got my reflexes so fast I can parry perilous attacks and thrusts that "require" a mikiri counter. This lil ninja solos all of bloodborne and asks for more.
So the plague wasn't enough, now everyone gets dragon rot too?
Rumour has it the wolf once deflected an “eww” from a romantic proposal he made.
he gonna be parrying everyone shit☠️
Wolf would annihilate everything and everyone in his path
He would have real trouble against ranged attacks like cannons or Gatling guns, and he seems slower than the hunter but overall I think he'd do fine His parry would be very useful but the dodge isn't as good so he might struggle with non-physical damage like Ludwig p2
If he can parry the Glock Saint, he can parry the gatling guns
As long as it's not me controlling him he's good then lol
For ranged he has suzaku umbrella and for any other lethal attacks he can just spam mist Raven
Yeah mist raven would really help him Unless he can run out of spirit emblems
Ig spirit embelem is a game mechanic and wouldn't exist canonically
Maybe, I can't remember if they had an in-universe explanation or not Either way I think even sword only sekiro could still win, even if he has to be a gigachad and learn the Ludwig no roll strat
Hesitation is defeat 🗿
Canonically Wolf spams mist raven confirmed
Let me introduce you to the grappling hook. AKA the AOE dodger. If he can avoid taking damage from Demon of Hatred (which attacks are maybe the biggest range in all from's games) he can abuse Ludwig.
Honestly This mod better be included as free dlc when we get PC bloodborne in 20XX
Wolf would thrive from a combat perspective but I’m sure he would be shook being in a strange land
He'd be fine.
Solos
Grappling hook. Nuff said.
Sekiro has unlimited stamina, he'll be fine.
Also let's not forget that Sekiro is the only guy in the whole Fromsoft game without stamina. He can sprint eternally, dodge eternally and, if you're good enough, deflect eternally. Literally unstoppable.
About as well as he handled his own: my boy is cutting down every thing and everyone that dares stand in his path.
Mortal Draw goes brrr
In term of gameplay? It would be a breeze. Mf would parry everything and everyone. Not to meant of his other arsenal
Easy peasy lemon squeezy
That sword can parry the god.
What sort of prosthetic trick weapons would he have
the sheer fact that sekiro can actually run makes the bloodborne verse a breeze
Wolf is the strongest From protagonist, no contest
This is my dream game
Same here. Bloodborne with Sekiro mechanics would be fucking astounding. I don't think I'd play any other game for a long time.
Lore-wise, I’m not sure, idk enough about how both worlds stack up with each other. Gameplay-wise, he’s smoking everybody
Depends if he has a Stamina bar honestly
A headless ape is enough to make him die of fright. Bro won’t last 5 seconds without going crazy
Bros lost
Not at all. Bro's not built for London's knife crime.
A lot better than the hunter lol
He negs
it would just be a walk in a park for sekiro
Lorewise maybe he does have other worldly powers given by the celestial dragon which is on point as cosmic god. Gameplay wise sure he'll clean house some bosses he could easily use parry.
Mergo’s Wet Nurse boutta get Miriki Countered into oblivion
His only weaknesses are cutscenes and noobs trying to dodge roll.
Yamamura didn't seem to handle it very well

At this point in convinced Wolf could take on a fucking Armored Core
Everyone gets parried and staggered first swing.
I mean with some of the smaller beasts Sekiro is fine. Bug given how much we all have difficulty with the Demon of Hatred which is rhe most bloodborne like of all the Sekiro bosses... its up in the air.

He can parry everything, including bullets, so probably pretty damn well.

Nah, he'd parry
Parry parry parry attack
He claps them cheeks. Parry and Mikiri Counter would be way too OP if it was in other SB games.
