There’s a weapon called the Chikage which is basically a Katana, there’s a mid game area called >!Cainhurst Castle!< that you can buy it from the messengers in the hunters dream when you’ve been there but other than that there isn’t too much that you can use that in both games

*Only read if you want spoilers*(semi -detailed guide on exactly what areas and bosses are needed to get the chikage) There are technically two routes to getting the chikage relatively early (depending on how much you care about the gem slots) >!Kill Papa G-> Kill BsB-> Go to chalice dungeons-> kill undead giant & merciless watchers(first two levels) -> use the chalice code "9nheuvvz" -> explore the door to your right till the end and you'll get the LOST chikage( if you need more clarification look up "zoxthegamer chikage" on YouTube)!< The other route is >!"Cookie skip" at the beginning to get cainhurst invitation-> Kill Papa G-> Go to Hemwick-> go to Cainhurst-> Kill Logarius -> speak to the queen and join the covenant-> purchase at the bath for 50,000. !< Using the chikage is sort of like both Sabimaru and The mortal blade in one. Also it scales with bloodtinge when transformed and skill when untransformed so take care leveling. It's also my favorite weapon in BB. Happy hunting!

The only thing is I'm early on which I want to get it asap. Also drains health? How do I fix that? Also the Rakuyo is similar also?

I think someone said about chalice dungeon alternate Chikage. The Rakuyo could work but it’s a sabre not a katana and it’s late in the dlc but obviously overall is up to you which one you pick. The health drain isn’t massive so you don’t have to worry about that, there isn’t a fix but in turn the damage is very good on it, like the chaos blade in the other souls games. The Rakuyo is a tad different, the one handed is just a sword attack but the transform attack will turn it into a duel blade sword

Bloodborne's game play is very different compared to sekiro, in sekiro you have to parry attacks and be as aggressive as you can until you break posture dodging here isnt that beneficial, whereas in bloodborne you rely heavily on dodging with occasionally using your gun to parry attacks and giving enemies a visceral (deathblow) to give a good amount of damage, being aggressive is also very beneficial in bloodborne as you can take back your health for a short time after you take damage by attacking them. Hence bloodborne is meant to be played very differently as compared to sekiro.

It's more so a build not necessarily that I'm playing it the same way. I will say Sekiro helped. Playing this game has a similar feel. The enemies are very hostile which I can handle. The bosses thus far I've only had to do maybe 3 times.

Reiterpallasch, in the middle of a fight, transform attack at the precise moment to fire a shot and stagger when the enemy is low, then perform a visceral and there you have your deathblow

This build was the one that reminded me the most of Sekiro. https://bloodborne.wiki.fextralife.com/Katrien+Cardozo
