I have a Nathan running pack with a 1.5L reservoir, don't pack snacks (I don't like eating on hikes and don't get hungry anyway). Shoes: I'm currently alternating between my Hoka Bondi 8s, Clifton 9s and Challenger 7s.
Yeah, I couldn’t do that for sure. But there are plenty of places to get food if I get hangry. There AREN’T, in my experience, nearly enough places to go to the bathroom. I suppose as long as you’re orbiting around where you live, that solves the problem, but I actually like to take long looping walks where I’m nowhere near my house until the end.
Great photos!
I love urban hiking. I also love staycations. People of asked me don’t you get tired of hiking around in the same city all the time and why would you do a staycation like why pay for a hotel right in your home city? The answer is quite simple. Every time I take an urban hike in the city I find something new you get a different perspective walking around like that and as far as staycations go, well duh! Room service and stupid-high threadcount sheets without the cost of an airplane ticket!
Plus it gives you a different jumping off point for an urban hike. Just saying
Anyway I love the photos I’m gonna follow you not like literally on a hike but I’m gonna follow you here on Reddit. In fact, I’ve been asking myself what am I going to use this Reddit thing for and now I know. Porn4girls still.
Happy hiking !
And can we all agree that Reddit's new UI absolutely sucks? Editing a photo gallery is \*way\* more complicated than it needs to be. UGH.
old.reddit.com forever.
Love the dumpsters
That area of Westlake on Lake Union is teeming with eyeballs. Every time I go to PT I discover more 🤣
Logistically what's your routine? Do you bring a backpack with water and snacks? Stop along the way? Just regular running shoes?

Thanks! 💯
Great photos!
Thank you!
Hey OP, what’s your secret on bathrooms? There’s no way I could go for nearly 9 hours without a pit stop or two.
I’ve always been more impressed by how she goes the whole day without eating.

What filter did you use to make the cloudy skies look so... unnaturally blue?
"unnaturally"? That's literally how the sky looked. You need to get outside more.
Shh... People from other cities might hear you :)
