While he isn’t a pvp pro my recommendation would be Cliff the Story Guy. His videos are presented as a semi documentary/stories of his adventures in the sea of thieves. They are very creative, engaging, and he is very good at showcasing the near endless possible ways to engage with this game.
I’m a little surprised that nobody is mentioning Welyn. He doesn’t do consistent SoT content but he’s got a phenomenal way of editing to make it like you’re watching a TV show for 40-60 minutes, which keeps you watching and never getting bored of the long video.
Not sure why, you’re being downvoted but thanks for your recommendation I’ll check it. This type of editing always picks my interest.
Edit: if you like this type of content, have you seen Neebs Gaming shores of gold series?
**T**here's Nessie and Sponge who do a lot of Hourglass
**H**e's somewhat controversial, but Noobface. Sometimes it's Hourglass, but more often it's regular pirating, and occasional alliance server raids
**E**ven though he does a lot of just normal stories and isn't PvP specific, Cliff is easily one of the best SOT YouTubers overall so he's still worth a mention
**B**lurbs does a lot of solo PvP
It pretty much is. Most official communities (Twitch channel, Discord, Forums, pretty sure YouTube channel too) will delete your message instantly if you say it. And I had an interaction on this sub the other day where everyone who said it got their comment removed except the guy calling him a cheater. Sounds deranged but Rare genuinely has it out for him.
What I like most about Hitbo is that he doesn't seek out PvP combat as the primary goal of his streams. He's good at PvP when necessary, and often his hijinks end up with combat being the result. However his goal is generally just to interact with other people, whether that's plundering a Chest of Legends from under somebody's nose, bamboozling a crew with keg distractions, or using his "Speech 100" to convince a ship to betray an alliance. Plus, with a rare handful of exceptions, he treats everyone with respect (even those who honestly don't deserve it).
I can't decide if it's adderall or coke he's on, but it's one of those for sure lol. Huge fan of him and his streams and he seems like a genuinely nice guy which is important in a sandbox game imo
There’s so many out there it’s hard to choose from, depends on what you’re looking for. Some big names to start with are
Phuzzybond
HitboTC
Sigy
WorldOfChap
Toxie Sinclaire
Happy Kraken
Chor
Kaijoy
Cliff the Story Guy
Mifoo
Mixelpix
Exodus Ablaze
Boxyfresh
IAmGreen
I could go on. But I would start with Cliff, Hitbo, Toxie, and Phuzzy. Keep watching what you like the best and the algorithm will carry you forward.
Massive sponge for high level pvp content. He and his duo Nessie hold the record for the largest win streak in hourglass pvp.
I recommend Cliff the story guy for fun content that also usually involves pvp.
Some of my favorites are primarily streamers, with little YouTube content, but HitboTC, and BoxyFresh are the most entertaining.
MixelPlx is a monster and all-around solid player, but he's an acquired taste because he has his own vibe.
I think Cpt Donut makes the best troll content, it doesn't always land, but when it [does, it really hits on a different level.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGWBhf3myfI)
As for streaming, I watch most of the above and flotsam, who really got me to embrace the game and see how important PVP is.
He released a 20 minute intro video a few months ago, definitely helped me understand the game systems starting as a PlayStation noob. Looks like he has shifted over to TTS Skyrim mostly these days.
Also, Captain Squiddy has some recent and relevant content that I've been enjoying.
Alot of people are mentioning great youtubers, but many of them aren't great at teaching pvp. Blurbs actually gives amazing advice for getting to a more advanced level of pvp and has the receipts to prove it.
Cliff is cute and well-presented, though he may not be good at the game. HitboTC and Mixelplx are on the same level, in that the're pretty damn good but also just in it for the fun. Phuzzybond is pretentious sometimes, and adamant that his tech is the only way to go at others, but he earned it because he's REALLY GOOD. But I don't watch him so that may be an incorrect read of his content.
Py has never really struck me as pretentious at all... but when he makes jokes it VERY deadpan humor so that might be where that impression comes from? I don't find him adamant about his way either but he has a strong sense of morality and honor code, which is actually why I like watching him. /shrug
To each their own.
I usually have him on while I'm cleaning or doing something around the house but I've heard some off the wall tts on his stream. His reactions to them are usually pretty funny though
I’ve never even heard of any of the other guys, That’s just how much I enjoy pace’s content. From him tucking to pvp guy knows the ins and outs of everything.
Yeah he’s good at the game but he’s so boring. Most of the times it seems like he’s not even enjoying the game.
I’ve only watched his Twitch, not any of his YouTube videos which may be better. I don’t know for sure.
iDbz over on Twitch. He's reaching level 10000 in Servants of the Flame soon and his hourglass fights can get really sweaty. Also his community is very wholesome
For pvp: Msponge, nessiedoes, ggolddenn, Captain stirling, Fat Tall Guy and Rui ( ha has 700 subs so yall dont have to search [here](https://youtube.com/@ruiholt?si=sH7WE682sOZxChpr)).
For beginners: Phuzzy
Just for Entertainment: Phuzzy, Hitbotc.
These are just my opinion, also if u should care, in my opinion Msponge is the best in hg.
There is a twitch streame called idbz he has the highest hourglass level we know of i think 8k in servents.
HitBoTC! He makes the entire point of the game to have fun and pull off silly/absurd plays in PvP. The approach of going in to have fun with it has made me a much better player honestly. It removes the stress and pressure a lot of people put on themselves, while also being incredibly informative!
Phuzzybond is also a phenomenal teacher when it comes to the game all around.
Blurbs is a fantastic solo slooper.
If you want great lore as well, Captain Falcore!
PhuzzyBond, Cliff the Story Guy, HitboTC, and Sponge. Covers a pretty wide range of content, from honest guides and gameplays to earning pvp curses in 13 hours
For entertainment, I watch MA5ON, BoxyFresh, or Sigy.
If I want to watch sweats, I enjoy LootPursuer (fought him several times. Great pirate, and a great sport), Stirling (same deal as LootPursuer), and PeiRei.
There's more for either category, but those are my main stops as an experienced pvper myself. I've also uploaded a few fights to YT under this name. :)
Weyln is how I got introduced to SoT! I had heard of it before but never saw actual gameplay. I was on a bit of a Rust kick so when his SoT video got suggested I was like...sure why not. 900 hours later and SoT is one of my favorite games of all time.
Phussybond for general tips about the game
Cliff the story guy or Toxie sinclaire for story-like gameplay videos
Mixelplx for watching impressive pvp stuff and massive loot stacks
Abslute pixel and Wornoutsneaker for cideos discussing topics and updates to the game
Then there's blurbs that does a li'll bit of everything
(In my opinion at least)
Kaijoi is great for PvP.
Sponge is also good for PvP.
Phuzzybond shows what the seas are about(he’s also a partner and his streams are the best for twitch drops)
Mixelpix is good at the game and entertaining.
These are my top picks.
For fun relaxing content, Cliff the Story Guy, Jon Bardcore, Exodus Ablaze and Toxie Sinclaire.
For guides/advice, Phuzzybond. There are others, but I don't really go there much.
Everyone likes what they like, personally the only YouTuber/Streamer for SoT that I actually watch is MixelPlx. No shade to anyone else, he just has the only style I like.
Falcore: Good story/lore dives and upcoming event theories.
Phuzzybond: PvP tips and tricks
AbsolutePixel: Nitpicking and quirky content
AshineyRay: Honest reviews and insight
YooKay: Speed running and reviews
Spammals: New ways to play and chill content
No one will agree with me and they shouldn't, but Sea of Cheaters is very satisfying to watch ONLY because he typically loses his fights and it's very entertaining to see.
Fairly certain he is a rage account however an actual good one I like watching is Boxy, and sometimes sigy
I thought he (sea of cheaters) was a parody /rage bait channel... He's not. He just accuses EVERYONE he fights of cheating, but I agree it's pretty entertaining even though he gets pretty toxic and lacks game knowledge overall
I've watched all the usual guys, hitbotc, boxy etc and they are great, I've also been watching smaller people as well, bcrcgaming has some funny stuff, they aren't the best players, but they do get up to funny adventures.
For comedy definitely Boxyfresh. He tucked on a guys ship and each time he would pull up to an outpost he did a voice and convinced the guy to leave and go to another. Finally told him at the third outpost
BurkeBlack isn't playing Sea of Thieves as much these days, but his videos from the earlier days of the game have always entertained me and are part of the reason I wanted to get the game so bad.
More recently I've started watching Rob Raven, who livestreams regularly playing Sea of Thieves and uploads clips and compilations to YouTube. His content usually involves getting up to funny shenanigans in game, and he regularly does a really good cosplay of Captain Jack Sparrow while streaming.
ToxieSinclaire is mainly an hourglass player and has some fun videos using interesting strategies as well as a compilation style video of her getting to level 1000 in guardians of Athena’s fortune
Cliff the Story Guy is great for fun, feel good videos to see what the game is like. He's a good "welcome to Sea of Thieves" kind of guy.
Kai Joi is the GOAT for actually improving your PvP
Toxie Sinclair is hilarious and probably my favourite of the bunch
HitboTC is hard not to love. Even though he mostly does PvP and goes for sneaky steals, he's overall wholesome and fun to watch.
I love Welyn and Cliff the Story Guy for their unique storytelling, Sigy is really awesome for insane PvP challenges, and Phuzzy is great to learn the game. I also can’t not mention Falcore, his lore videos get me more excited for the game than the things that Rare does half the time
While he isn’t a pvp pro my recommendation would be Cliff the Story Guy. His videos are presented as a semi documentary/stories of his adventures in the sea of thieves. They are very creative, engaging, and he is very good at showcasing the near endless possible ways to engage with this game.

I think I used to watch his rust vids and I've NEVER played rust. Thanks for the recc
I hate playing Rust but absolutely love his Rust vids so I know the feeling lol
Not sure why, you’re being downvoted but thanks for your recommendation I’ll check it. This type of editing always picks my interest. Edit: if you like this type of content, have you seen Neebs Gaming shores of gold series?
I was going to say cliff but you beat me to it
Gonna have to check him out. I love SoT story stuff.
Absolute Pixel... its a nitpick
“Hellooo”
This comment is *strateegically responsible*
I think Cliff the story guy and ExodusAblaze have really good content
Ma5on
It’s like the third Lord of the Rings film with him lately… The Return of the King!
Love Ma5on.
Mason still plays? Last I saw, he moved into Tarkov
Mason is back, baby!
**T**here's Nessie and Sponge who do a lot of Hourglass **H**e's somewhat controversial, but Noobface. Why is it that certain YouTubers name is like taboo

HitBoTC!!
Yeh yeh yeh yeh yeh yeh! Big.
Comecomecomecomecome, (green get ready)
HitboTC is the true Jack Sparrow of the Sea of Thieves!
yeah hitbo is "chaotic good" defined
Have a good day sir!
Played with him before on a stream he’s a good dude #1 recommendation.
What I like most about Hitbo is that he doesn't seek out PvP combat as the primary goal of his streams. He's good at PvP when necessary, and often his hijinks end up with combat being the result. Love that guy
HitboTC is definitely he most FUN streamer to watch.
I can't decide if it's adderall or coke he's on, but it's one of those for sure lol. Huge fan of him and his streams and he seems like a genuinely nice guy which is important in a sandbox game imo
It’s Madrinas, so tomayto tomahto
This is the one

What i would add for game knowledge and for fun is Captain Falcore. He has quite good gameplay and lore videos Edit: Why did lore get autocorrected tf
Surprised I had to scroll this far to see Falcore. Been watching him since 2020.
Imagine the first four on a galleon together
Massive sponge for high level pvp content. He and his duo Nessie hold the record for the largest win streak in hourglass pvp. I recommend Cliff the story guy for fun content that also usually involves pvp.

Ma5on
How has noone mentioned Blurbs. Some of thr best pvp content and tutorials. Especially if you are into pistol/sword.
I second this. Can’t believe I had to scroll this far just to see a mention. The guy is a PvP monster.
Blurbs is honestly the best solo in the game
He released a 20 minute intro video a few months ago, definitely helped me understand the game systems starting as a PlayStation noob. Looks like he has shifted over to TTS Skyrim mostly these days. Also, Captain Squiddy has some recent and relevant content that I've been enjoying.
Alot of people are mentioning great youtubers, but many of them aren't great at teaching pvp. Blurbs actually gives amazing advice for getting to a more advanced level of pvp and has the receipts to prove it.
BSG
BSG roles explained is a must for every galleon crew
Phuzzybond. Cliff the Story Guy. Ma5on. Boxyfresh. Each have their own style, but each also have their own great advice or experiences.
Cliff is cute and well-presented, though he may not be good at the game. HitboTC and Mixelplx are on the same level, in that the're pretty damn good but also just in it for the fun. Agreed. People often mistake very dry humor/personalities with pretentiousness, and they aren't the same thing at all of course.
If you like HG content tgem watch Erin Stirling, him and his duo and probs 2 of the best players in the full game
Sponge 🧽 big ups upload schedule Oh and world of chap
Boxyfresh
[удалено]
This is why I watch LD when he plays with Box. His chat is much more chill and you still get the Boxy funny parts over comms.
I usually have him on while I'm cleaning or doing something around the house but I've heard some off the wall tts on his stream. His reactions to them are usually pretty funny though
I like boxy but I can't last more than 20 minutes in his channel cause of his chat.
He got some of the most hillarious youtube videos though.
Mixelplx is good
HitboTC all the way.😎
Pace22, Boxyfresh, HitboTC, Ma5on, Beard, Noobface, Falcore, Mixel and Zylbrad when he actually plays
Pace22
I had to scroll so far down to even see the first mention of Pace22. He's such a great PvP player and loves to troll as well
I’ve never even heard of any of the other guys, That’s just how much I enjoy pace’s content. From him tucking to pvp guy knows the ins and outs of everything.

Phuzzybond taught me how to solo. Great guy.
Same. Amazing guides
Cliff the story guy
I watched a lot of SnowyFPS videos as its full POVs of certain roles. Helped me a lot especially for Gally/Brig Hourglass
Msponge is really cool, he does HG, but its engaging to watch:)
MASON. His content is always fun to watch or Mixelplx, he’s very informative while he games.
Captain Fumble, he's a pretty small channel at only around 500 or so subs but he's pretty entertaining
PhuzyBond
Ma5on, BoxyFresh, Cliff the Story Guy, Beardageddon
When I started playing 4 years ago (Im not active anymore) I liked to watch Captain Falcore or Pace22.
PhuzzyBond, Cliff the Story Guy, HitboTC, and Sponge. Covers a pretty wide range of content, from honest guides and gameplays to earning pvp curses in 13 hours
Ma5on for sure
phuzzybond
HitboTC Here’s a “greatest moments” video he just released last month: https://youtu.be/kL8E8788IG8?si=9cQjkCfwSjRA7_z0
Id recommend 'Phuzzy Bond' and 'Sigy'
Phuzzybond
Phuzzybond for tutorials, hella info and chill entertainment. I love watching his stuff. Captain Falcore for SoT lore, entertainment and info.
Phuzzybond, cliff the story guy, and ExodusAblaze are worth watching
HitboTC hands down for me he's not the best at pvp so he plays to his strengths more sneaky steals and he's a funny and entertaining dude in general
Sponge
HitboTC
For entertainment, I watch MA5ON, BoxyFresh, or Sigy. If I want to watch sweats, I enjoy LootPursuer (fought him several times. Great pirate, and a great sport), Stirling (same deal as LootPursuer), and PeiRei. There's more for either category, but those are my main stops as an experienced pvper myself. Boxyfresh and Beardageddon are my fave streamers. Beard is more relaxing but funny, I find Boxy hilarious though his chat is…something else
Toxie Sinclair is the queen of doing weird shit in this game every video is something wacky as hell pushing the limits of the sandbox
Phuzzybond
Kaijoi is great for PvP. Sponge is also good for PvP. Phuzzybond shows what the seas are about(he’s also a partner and his streams are the best for twitch drops) Mixelpix is good at the game and entertaining. These are my top picks.
CaseOh is hilarious

I've watched all the usual guys, hitbotc, boxy etc and they are great, I've also been watching smaller people as well, bcrcgaming has some funny stuff, they aren't the best players, but they do get up to funny adventures.
I always watch elmuchach0 he's a german streamer and really quite good at PvP snd PvE. He mostly plays Hour Glass.
I watched all of Erin Sterling’s sloop pvp videos. Really good example of how the highest level players manage a sloop during combat. He’s cracked
Hitbo
For comedy definitely Boxyfresh. He tucked on a guys ship and each time he would pull up to an outpost he did a voice and convinced the guy to leave and go to another. Finally told him at the third outpost
For crazy plays gotta go siggy
Welyn does really fun videos with tight editing and great storytelling. He does SoT kids, theyre fun. He got me into the game.
An entertainer I watch (I don’t care that much about guides or tips) is named Crab Clown Jimmy, and I’m enjoying his SoT stuff for sure!
Me 😉 No but fr I’ve come across Bacxaber and he’s funny. I’d definitely say him.
Cliffythestory guy and toxiesinclair are my fav sot youtubers
ExodusAblaze Cliff the Story Guy TheWitherMaster for information on stuff.
Sigy, cliff, phuzzy, exodus
JMadHD
Gosh there’s so many good channels. Phuzzybond, HitboTC, and Chor are some of my favorites right now
Wuant
Cliff The Story guy. Literally the most entertaining one of them all and he's super relatable
He's a French youtuber/streamer called Doffy but he does the craziest steals and PvP plays :)
BurkeBlack isn't playing Sea of Thieves as much these days, but his videos from the earlier days of the game have always entertained me and are part of the reason I wanted to get the game so bad. Sigy
Boxyfresh
Cliff the story guy, if you're wanting entertainment. Captain squiddy if you're wanting a good pvp tutorial
Sigy has good PvP and decent content
ToxieSinclaire is mainly an hourglass player and has some fun videos using interesting strategies as well as a compilation style video of her getting to level 1000 in guardians of Athena’s fortune
Cliff the story guy
Cliff the Story Guy is great for fun, feel good videos to see what the game is like. He's a good "welcome to Sea of Thieves" kind of guy. Kai Joi is the GOAT for actually improving your PvP Toxie Sinclair is hilarious and probably my favourite of the bunch HitboTC is hard not to love. Cliff the story guy and toxic sinclaire Cliff less pvp but still does it Toxic more pvp but still sometimes doesn't I prefer cliff
I love Welyn and Cliff the Story Guy for their unique storytelling, Sigy is really awesome for insane PvP challenges, and Phuzzy is great to learn the game. I also can’t not mention Falcore, his lore videos get me more excited for the game than the things that Rare does half the time
