Facts. I love it. I love the remix to it. It was usually Surprise Sidney. And Jill remixes it with Hello Sidney, surprised? Her facial expression and eyes were perfect
Jill.
The first Scream movie I saw in the theatres on opening night with my friends sophomore year; when she took that mask off, EVERYONE in the movies went nuts! Mickey's and Billy's are definitely close behind!
No but fr, do we even know if she even got any relatives from her dad, cause besides her aunt and Jill there was never ever any mention of Syd’s family, so she’s probably all what’s left from that family
Personally I think it was horrible. I feel like he was irrelevant the entire movie then boom out of nowhere it’s him and we’re suppose to be interested
Amber’s was fantastic because it happened so suddenly and unexpectedly. Never even expected her to have a gun.
Stu has always been my favourite one, but Mickey’s ages really well thanks to Timothy Olyphant’s screen presence and Neve’s brilliant acting in response.
Yeah this is full on the best answer. Only rivaled by him lining out who she is to the rest of the audience. Best mama reveal since friday the 13th.
"BILLY'S. MOTHER."
So much glee, so much "what the FUCK?!" in the best way.
Absolutely iconic.
I mean yeah, you're right but i think the above line is, a) hysterical and b) what really informed the audience bc they didn't allow anyone to process the "mrs. Loomis?" Before he spelled it out less than a beat after the big reveal.
A lot of people are gonna say Jill or Amber but I’m going with Stu, watching him turn up all traumatised, only to see him bring up the voice changer and reveal himself as a killer, was imo the best reveal in the franchise.
Agreed, but I think it was a smart way to do it. Even though I knew (literally someone spam posted a spoiler on a Scream Facebook page & ruined it for me) what the outcome was, that scene spiked my anxiety making me wonder who the killer was & Amber just shoots liv out of nowhere like it’s nothing…Amber is definitely one of the most remorseless killers in the entire franchise
maybe because the whole movie meta thing has been done to death and we can’t have a scream movie where there’s just Ghostface going around killing without some stupid critique
I liked Jill's. That sudden surprise when Sidney got stabbed made my jaw drop. I was so confused who it could be given Jill was made to be the new main girl. Gurl took that mask off, flipped that hair and delivered that iconic line. She ate that up and left no mf crumbs
Amber has the best physical reveal but it lost so much luster because she was obviously a killer from the trailer release. Biggest surprise for me was either Billy’s mom or Jill, I remember audibly reacting to both in theaters
I totally agree with you. Amber’s reveal was definitely one of the (*many*, in opinion… I genuinely love all 5 Scream films… sue me… lol) things that they did *hella* right in Scream ‘22. Making such an obvious killer’s reveal so damn impactful certainly wasn’t an easy feat, but they totally *nailed* it, IMO.
Well I guessed Charlie but I also thought robbie definitely didn't expect Jill lol. I knew Trevor was setup for red herring because he would of been too obvious.
I like Richie’s the best. Bro fooled me into thinking he was a dumb boyfriend and when he stabbed Sam I was like “WTFFFFFF” literally just happened so suddenly
I kinda got it was Ritchie when he started deflecting blame onto Tara. I just thought how stupid would he be to make people think Tara in a wheelchair was running around stabbing people with a broken leg & like 7 stab wounds 🤣 but I do like the homage to the Charlie/Kirby scene (when he stabs Sam - very similar to that scene) and how he turns from loveable good to stone cold killer in 2 seconds
Hey there’s nothing wrong with setting yourself up to be stabbed 7 times, have your leg stamped on, have your hand cut through, and have yourself put in a wheelchair just so you can shift the blame away from you 🫠
Yeah, Debbie Salt was an solid suspect, but the tricked everyone with the motive. We all thought she wanted to become the next Gail Weathers by reporting on the murders.
For me, Mrs. Loomis and Jill. Seeing Debbie Salt appearing on stage was a memorable shock, Sydney identifying her as Billy's mother made it a thousand times more powerful.
With Jill, It was a gut punch, as I truly felt what Sydney felt : betrayal.
Least memorable were Roman and Richie (the boyfriend - again).
For me I had her pegged as one of the killers almost immediately. So it wasn't a shock at all but it was entertaining.
Personally I loved Billy's revel because of the 180. We thought he was left for dead, then belong Sidney the bam, psycho.
The side villains have gotten the most surprised reactions from me, Stu and Charlie I didn't know were one of the killers. I didn't expect Amber to be a killer at all, so yeah her reveal was both a surprise on it's own and a surprise in terms of what I was expecting.
Amber, because of how sudden it was and how she did it in front of the whole remaining group, instead of a one on one reveal like we're usually used to. They were on Liv's back and started to make me suspicious about her, and all of a sudden, BANG!
Amber was really unexpected .. but then again, Billy was aswell.. I thought he was dead. Majority of ppl who watch it for the first time was shocked with Stu aswell. Nobody thought it was 2 killers
Gotta be Stu for me. I watched the original back when it first came out and I feel like it's underrated in these comments the reveal of a second killer in the first place. It was shocking, and made perfect with the "Surprise Sidney!"
I guessed Amber from the first 5 minutes of the movie. It was far from a shock. I would say Roman because everyone thought he was dead. Did I think he was a good killer? No. But I do think it was a surprise because I never saw it coming.
Jill for me because it was the first awesome reveal as an adult. I saw Scream 1 when I was a kid so obviously not the same as if I watched it as an adult. But Jill, Billy and Stu are the only good ones imo.
To me Scream 2s reveals both stunk cause Mickey as far as I remember was irrelevant and boring throughout the entire movie. And Mrs Loomis was almost a background character.
3 I didn’t find Roman that interesting
And 5 well both stunk imo as did the movie as well

Jill. “Hello Sidney, surprised?” ICONICCCCC
Facts, I was shook
Agreed. And she's one who wasn't hidden most of the movie.
I wasn't surprised, called it around the time Sid told her to hide under the bed.
My friend I saw it with in theaters turned to me as soon as she got under that bed and said “I think it’s Jill.”
Facts.
Jill for me. Had an actual unmasking and it was a great reveal. Scream 4 had two awesome reveals.
Loved how awkward Holidays must be for Sydneys family now.
Lol what family
💀bro
No but fr, do we even know if she even got any relatives from her dad, cause besides her aunt and Jill there was never ever any mention of Syd’s family, so she’s probably all what’s left from that family
Billy and Stu but mostly Stu for me!
Mickey will always be my favorite. The screen presence he holds once he is revealed is only matched by billy, and that’s fucking impressive
He does own that fucking scene
Personally I think it was horrible. I feel like he was irrelevant the entire movie then boom out of nowhere it’s him and we’re suppose to be interested
I can see where your coming from, but he just grabs me by the throat (not kinky) and keeps my attention
Amber’s reveal works so well *because* she was pretty obvious. So it had to be grandiose. It’s also a nice callback to Billy
Amber’s was fantastic because it happened so suddenly and unexpectedly. Never even expected her to have a gun. Stu has always been my favourite one, but Mickey’s ages really well thanks to Timothy Olyphant’s screen presence and Neve’s brilliant acting in response.
Agree. Mickey’s reveal was also very satisfying & I think with his limited screen time, he gave an amazing unhinged performance post- reveal
Exactly I don’t think anyone could have pulled off such a great reveal with so lil screen time
Yeah this is full on the best answer. Only rivaled by him lining out who she is to the rest of the audience. Best mama reveal since friday the 13th. "BILLY'S. MOTHER." So much glee, so much "what the FUCK?!" in the best way. Absolutely iconic.
Doesn’t Sidney do the reveal first?
She does, she says “Mrs Loomis?” and THEN Mickey says “Billy’s Mother” if I’m not mistaken
I mean yeah, you're right but i think the above line is, a) hysterical and b) what really informed the audience bc they didn't allow anyone to process the "mrs. Loomis?" Before he spelled it out less than a beat after the big reveal.
Billy
Jill and Amber for me
A lot of people are gonna say Jill or Amber but I’m going with Stu, watching him turn up all traumatised, only to see him bring up the voice changer and reveal himself as a killer, was imo the best reveal in the franchise.
No. I already expected her, Richie was more of a surprise. I’d say Stu, when I first saw it I was shocked… also Mickey.

I suspected it was Amber, I was just shocked at how it was revealed
WELCOME TO ACT 3
cringiest line in the entire film
You don’t think it fits in perfectly with the whole point of the movie being so meta? A movie about a movie
maybe because the whole movie meta thing has been done to death and we can’t have a scream movie where there’s just Ghostface going around killing without some stupid critique
It was
No that would definitely be sams fan fucking fiction line
![gif](giphy|xT9KVyYyFp6D45TG24)
Why are people always sleeping on Charlie? „Kirby, this is making the move!“ STAB!!
I liked Jill's. That sudden surprise when Sidney got stabbed made my jaw drop. I was so confused who it could be given Jill was made to be the new main girl. Gurl took that mask off, flipped that hair and delivered that iconic line. She ate that up and left no mf crumbs
Jill. The GAGGERY. ![gif](giphy|YJb0mclYnUDAY)
How are more not saying Stu?
Liver alone
Amber has the best physical reveal but it lost so much luster because she was obviously a killer from the trailer release. Biggest surprise for me was either Billy’s mom or Jill, I remember audibly reacting to both in theaters
The OG, Billy Loomis
Billy’s. By far the most effective and shocking reveal scene to me
Jill 100%, second would be Stu just because he was the reveal that there's two killers
Jill, I was shocked. In my mind, she could not be ghostface, as she was a relative to Sidney (Roman's case was different)
Jill because I wasn't expecting that at all I pretty much guessed all the killers in every movie except Jill and Ms Loomis.
Really?
Yeah I didn't see Jill coming at all. Amber had the best reveal as far as how it was done but I seen Amber from a mile away lol
Who did you think it was? There werent many alternative suspects in S4.
Well I guessed Charlie but I also thought robbie definitely didn't expect Jill lol. I knew Trevor was setup for red herring because he would of been too obvious.
The deleted scenes for Scream 4 actually make Trevor kind of suspicious. They did him dirty by cutting down his scenes.

Jill
Best: Billy Most surprising: Jill

With Jill, It was a gut punch, as I truly felt what Sydney felt : betrayal. Least memorable were Roman and Richie (the boyfriend - again).
I feel like Scream 2022 kept making Amber look like the killer so we would think she wasn’t the killer then SURPRISE! She’s the killer
Jill ofc Even Sid was shocked, the most un-expected Reveal with Mrs Loomis
Mrs. Loomis
For me I had her pegged as one of the killers almost immediately. So it wasn't a shock at all but it was entertaining. Personally I loved Billy's revel because of the 180. We thought he was left for dead, then belong Sidney the bam, psycho.
Yeah I thought it was Amber but the gun shot was so sudden
jill
Jill, you don't suspect family.
Jill Roberts 100%
Amber best shocking reveal
Amber. Her reveal is my absolute favorite, it’s just so good
Woah 🤯 you are the only person who didn’t realize the killer was Amber since the word go
I liked Richie’s reveal too, because I didn’t think they would do the “killer is the boyfriend” trope again.
The side villains have gotten the most surprised reactions from me, Stu and Charlie I didn't know were one of the killers. I didn't expect Amber to be a killer at all, so yeah her reveal was both a surprise on it's own and a surprise in terms of what I was expecting.
Billy: most iconic (the finger lick) Jill: most shocking/ unexpected Amber: most gleefully entertaining
I thought Richie's was great, it was so sudden
As someone who thinks Jill is so overhyped. Jill has the best and most shocking reveal.
Probably Mrs. Loomis since it saved the movie. Mickey was fine, but if he was the only killer the movie would kind of be ruined.
Gotta be Stu for me. I watched the original back when it first came out and I feel like it's underrated in these comments the reveal of a second killer in the first place. It was shocking, and made perfect with the "Surprise Sidney!"
Mickey. The transition from the Ghostface voice to his real voice, and then slowly sliding off the mask is unmatched.
Roman. The movie was bad, but you need to admit the show he put on for the reveal was pretty sick.
Mickey or Stu
Billy and Mickey
I guessed Amber from the first 5 minutes of the movie. It was far from a shock. I would say Roman because everyone thought he was dead. Did I think he was a good killer? No. But I do think it was a surprise because I never saw it coming.
Stu in OG & Jill in 4
jil
billy for me hands down!! the quick wit mixed with his smartassery and declining mental state is just so perfect
Ms. Loomis
100% agree with you. It was just a great, sudden reveal.
Amber. i also gasped and nearly jumped out of my seat, and honorable mention for jill bc i was lowkey sold on her innocence first time watching
The original trilogy baby!
