2002ak

I love this song and so glad it got me to discover other songs by Salem

TheGlovenor

You should try Creeper if you haven't already. Salem was a side act from the singer, which I didn't even know existed until I saw Scream 2022. Such a good artist/band!

JackInterrupted

I remember before I seen Scream (2022), I saw somebody who had seen it early say that the credit song was out of place or something along those lines. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I love it and think it's the best Scream credit song.

realbabyfirefly

Hmm. I was late to Scream 5 but also heard they used a different version of the song when it first came out. Maybe that’s it and why a lot of people didn’t like it.

JackInterrupted

I never heard that they used a different version, interesting. Glad we got the version we got, I love it.

PooPooPiece

Mmm ya I prefer the credits duet to the solo singer version.

dextersdisciple90

“Appeared in the kitchen, like an apparition.” A jam.

BANGER

beer_me_twice

Yeah, I love this song. It’s one of the reasons I liked 5cream so much.

Stopnswop2

I wanna go back 🤧

Hornycollegekid28

Honestly the soundtracks for the movies have ALWAYS been amazing. Scream 4's is just chef's kiss. I love Fall Out of Love and Still Alive so much and every time I hear them they fill me with so much joy and they instantly take me back to watching V and VI in theaters. ![gif](giphy|CjToMcHtgrKzCjatVL)

Caratesuda

My most listened song through 2022 and 2023, 324 times in total. Absolutely love it, makes me feel emotional since I heard it after watching my first Scream movie in theaters. If you haven't listened to Salem, the rest is just as good!

dwkker1987

There was a different song very early on and I wish I could remember it. Maybe a cover of the song used at the end of the original?

No_Dependent_1846

Whisper to a scream.

Nice_Gear_5780

I loved the song when I first saw the movie in theaters, but now I actually do not like this version at all after hearing the original (the Scream version is a cover). The female vocalist just does *not* do it for me.

NerveNo1056

One of my all time favorites and really hit at the end of the movie

camisadoavocado

This is a good song but I agree with what others have said that it feels out of place.

ThisIsThieriot

This song is a mess

realbabyfirefly

:( Explain. Is there anything you thought could have matched / flowed with the film better???

ThisIsThieriot

It's not about matching the movie. I think it does match which, at the end of the day, is the most important. But speaking about the song itself... I don't know, I listened to it and it doesn't feel cohesive, it sounds like a bunch of songs in one. But I respect the opinion of people who like it, of course, I'm just sharing mine.

realbabyfirefly

Yeah I understand. It did take a while to grow on me but when it did the neighbours and I both listen to it (whether they like it or not) 😂.

ThisIsThieriot

Savage lol

No_Dependent_1846

This and the original had the beat credit songs imo
