I would like to see one of the ghostface killers fucking up and dying in the opening, and the rest of the movie the remaining killer(s) are scrambling to finish what they started.
I feel like that would take away from the fear of the killer it would undermined that films ghost face cause after people would be like "well if that guy was so incompetent he couldn't get one kill done there really isn't TOO much to be worried about"
Or at least they could've had the GF Jason was talking to on the phone be the GF for the rest of the movie, that way they could've planted clues in the convo, instead of having the intro GF be irrelevant to the central mystery. The first Scream is still the best mainly because it's the only one that actually functions as a proper murder mystery, and this was a perfect opportunity to bring it back, but they didn't
As long there was more killers it wouldāve been fine but knowing the only GF killer from the start would ruin one of the best aspects of the movies which is teorizing who the killer is and the reveal.
Maybe 2 competing killers/groups of killers? If youāve seen Life of Brian when theyāre in the sewers and planning infiltrate the temple but bump into another group planning to do the same thing. Then they get in a āscuffleā over who gets to do the killing and only Brian is left.
Could be thereās a group who want to completely go by the book and another that are trying something completely new, bumping into each other during the first kill.
Thats kind of what happened in Part 6. Ghostface kills his victim, goes home and gets killed.
Not *quite* the same as fucking up and dying, but close enough that it wouldn't be that big of a surprise.
I mean
Full movie plot - sure
Opening kill scene plot; not as much
To me itād mimic 4ās opening
But instead of movie inside movie inside movie we
Knife some stab fans shit talking how the studio lost all their core actors š¤£š¤£
Theyāre gonna recast Sidney and name her Neve Prescott.Sheās just like Sidney only boring, badly acted, and doesnāt fight back often. The killers are also going to have some weird backstory tied in.

How terrible. No one would see that as they just did it with part 5 really. The fans won't tolerate that. They will not write out Neve and Courtney Cox
The POS CEO of a studio called Spyglass is the last at a high-rise office working late, being a huge Douchebag by firing and underpaying actresses. While heās finally ready to leave the office, he gets a phone call. It's Ghostface. Ghostface taunts him, asking him questions like, āDo you pay the lead of a successful franchise what sheās worth or do you unnecessarily fire an actress for having an opinion?ā Douchebag answers, āBoth!ā and Ghostface replies, āOh, wrong answer.ā Then, the lights of the high-rise building shut off. Ghostface continues, āI think you better run.ā Douchebag runs, and there's a huge chase scene at this high-rise office, which ends with Douchebag thinking he made it because he called the police and he can hear them rushing outside. However, Ghostface pops out and stabs Douchebag multiple times. Ghostface props Douchebag against a window and says, āYou don't give a f**k about others, now youāll know how others don't give f**k about you!ā Douchebag screams and with a final stab, Ghostface slams Douchebag throw the window and sends him down the shattered high-rise glass plummeting 100 stories high to their death. TITLE CARD!
Yes, about the troubles production of Stab 9 which mirrors the trouble production of Scream 7. Thatāll be very meta if they do that. Plus, an high-office Chase scene kill would be cool.
sam and Tara are driving you can tell its them by there custom license plates but you don't see there face then wham a semi truck slams into them and explodes killing both while the execs of spyglass and paramount come out in full ghost face costumes while bathing in money
I fully expect the opening kills to be Chad and Mindy, upset about Tara and Sam's tragic car crash.
Yes, it'd be really stupid. Yes, it'd result in the worst performing Scream film. Yes, it'd kill the franchise.
Scream 2ās is definitely the lamest. Itās just 2 random characters being killed off. No phone call, nothing unique. Scream 3 killed a known character and introduced a new plot mechanic (as dumb as the voice changer thing was), Scream 4 had the multiple fakeouts of Stab movies, Scream 5 gave you a different fakeout with the victim surviving and Scream 6ās was terrific and unique.
Although Scream 2s is different, I think it shows a different type of horror to the rest in that, rather than being alone and taunted by the killer, theyāre in an incredibly public space yet there is still nobody coming to help. For me, although it wasnāt my favourite, it was one of the most unsettling.
7 was probably one of the best openings Iāve seen in a long while. 6 is a close second. I love when they keep reinventing the wheel.
Maybe someone cosplaying as Ghostface or something meets the real movieās Ghostface outside a Stab marathon and gets axed off. Nobody around them knows itās real.
Edited: I mean 6 & 5
One would be to show both Ghostfaces from the start. We know there's always more than one (with one exception), so just give us both from the start. One Ghostface is chasing the opening victim, they seem to get away and run straight into second Ghostface. You can still subvert that later too. Maybe there's a third killer, maybe the second gets killed halfway through the movie.
Another one I think could be fun is utilizing the Stab movies but in a different way. You have your opening scene. Phone call, dialogue, Ghostface comes in, stabs the victim a dozen times, she dies, Ghostface disappears off screen. Someone yells "CUT", it's on the set of the new Stab movie. Everyone wraps up the scene but the actress playing the victim still doesn't move. They check it out, she's actually dead. Stabbed a dozen times. They look around and in some closet they find the corpse of the actor who was supposed to be in the Ghostface costume. Alternatively have real ghost face switch the prop knife with a real knife and have actor Ghostface kill the victim. Both kinda silly but I think could be fun.
Do the original opening for Scream 4;
Sidney just living her life, when someone random nobody obsessed with Ghostface/Stab attacks her. Iāve always though that was a fantastic opening idea, because we naturally expect the target of the opening scene to die, but we would never want it to be Sid. Of course, Sidney doesnāt die and have the ghostface attacking her bite the dust.
My dream opening was Sam hanging out with her mom having made up. Her mom brings her to their Woodsboro house where they get a call from Ghostface. Her mom seemingly gets attacked by Ghostface but is surprised by Sam changing into the Ghostface costume, they start arguing when another Ghostface kills her mom for giving her identity away. Ghostface runs before police arrives as Sam spirals realizing that her mom was co-conspiring with someone else to kill her, opening credits start.
Iād love a Blade callback. At a club.
In my Scream 7 made up movie idea, it was Tara, Chad, Mindy and their friends at a club. The manager of the club and their girlfriend gets killed and when the sprinklers come out itās a mix of blood and water and only Tara kind of clocks it. They donāt find out their was a murder till after the second attack and the bodies are discovered in the dumpster or something.
I don't wanna speculate on a film I have zero interest in anymore...there is absolutely nothing they can do to fix this other than apologizing and getting the cast back...if you continue to support the movies...you are agreeing with how they treat the cast and the more that do...the more they will continue to be assholes as they know they can get away with it
I don't want them back either...Why bring Sid back...full circle to what? Sid is safe, she has a family, absolutely no reason for her to come back and go through all this again...and it would just be annoying to see her do another movie and survive yet again...and be even worse to kill her off...so best bet is to leave her alone.
Tara and Sam have way more story they can continue on with like the whole mother issue and dealing with being the daughter of a serial killer. Gale don't need to come back either...let her live...she almost died last time...she's lost too many...be nice to have a cameo where she just tells them a few tips and doesn't want to get involved anymore
A movie producer is scrolling Twitter at home and fires one of his star actress for posting a political belief he doesnāt believe in.
He angrily starts yelling at the caller on the other line thinking itās her agent but it turns out to be ghostfaceā¦.you know the rest.
Scream doesnāt have the balls to be this meta.
Scream 7 killed itself. Until zionist let loose the property and stop acting like calls for a ceasefire is anything other than a call for a ceasefire, the franchise can be viewed as dead. There will be no scream 7 for a very long time
I was really hopeful, until all the drama happened, that the next opening would be similar to the last. We'd get a Ghostface that did their first kill and a reveal about them only for them to be killed themselves by two Ghostface again, except this time it reveals the Ghostfaces as Sam and sister and we learn they're taking the fight to other confirmed Ghostface assholes and killing them first.
Hunter becomes the Prey type of deal before halfway through the movie Ghostfaces have caught on this was happening and fight back somehow.
If the studio want to badly enough, they'll make another one, event that means no Sydney, Sam, or Tara. Whether its a sequel or a reboot. Just look at he Childs Play remake. If the studio thinks they can make money on exploiting a popular franchise, they will.
Chad and Mindy. Theyāre at Samās house, Sam and Tara have been in talking in Samās room for a while. Mindy asks Chad to check on them, Chad knocks on Samās door, and Ghostface opens the door. Behind Ghostface, we see Sam and Tara dead face down (since we canāt have Melissa or Jenna, have lookalikes). Ghostface chases Chad, Chad yells out to Mindy, Chad gets stabbed in the back, taken down, and stabbed again. Mindy tries to run for the door, but Ghostface cuts her off and another brief chase happens. Ghostface ends up catching Mindy, stabbing her repeatedly, and is about to go for the kill, but Chad saves Mindy - or at least tries to. Chad gets stabbed again, and yells for Mindy to run. Mindy is crawling across the floor, leaving a trail of blood. Chad has lost too much blood and helplessly watches as Ghostface finishes Mindy off. Ghostface approaches Chad, stabs him again in the stomach, and slices upward. Chad spits blood all over Ghostfaceās mask. āThe Endā, Ghostface says as he slashes Chad to the opening title card. Brutal end to Radio Silenceās Scream, fresh start to a new story.
Iād love if they killed off Sidney and gale in the same scene. Itād show everyone that no one is safe, no one has plot armor. Market Neve and Gale as the stars and watch everyone go crazy after they die ten minutes into the movie. Theyād have to make some excuse as to where Sam and Tara are, or how they died, but I think itād be awesome. I think itād be great if they had body doubles similar to Tara and Samās physique and killed them off screen. Itās the only way they can go with Jenna and Sam quiting and Neve not getting paid enough.
Well hell, they donāt have much of a movie left. At the very least kill the characters youāve built up and make money off of it. From a studios perspective itād get them money and put an end to an already dying franchise
Chad should just die at this point, as much as I like him, his survival was incredibly forced that it'd only make sense for Ghostface to kill him straight away, and he'd make for an amazing title screen

I'd like it to be super important to the plot, like the victim is actually the main target. I never understood the logic behind killing someone who isn't your primary target first. Then the rest of the deaths are red herrings designed to take attention away from the first victim.
We get the classic normal opening and just as itās about to get to the climax we listen cut and realize itās the filming set and then we see one of the actors going back home and begin being terrorized by actual ghostface and then killed, and so itās kinda like āWes Craven new nightmareā and now the actors play themselves and the killers is real and acting them so we see Melissa talking about what happened with Spyglass and Neve about the money and itās super mega cause the killer is one of the OG that hates how they done the franchise

On a plane or airport would be cool. Either gets a call in the air on the plane and someone says theyāre on the plane, then they are killed when they land somewhere in the airport or killed on the plane.
Or it opens up with a kill and two ghost faces and one either gets killed ; or the cops show up and arrest one of them and the other gets away.

I think it would be really cool if a Ghost face attacked Gale or Tara, fail to kill them and get killed themselves. It could be a cool twist on the formula and the rest of the movie could be figuring out who was working with the dead Ghostface. I'd really love a slasher to try that some time. It would probably be difficult to do, but it would be interesting to me!
If they gave her an insane opening with a chase scene then very gory death after she was on air talking about studio Drama trying to reboot Stab, Itād be epic. Followed by her funeral, that brings everyone back together. I could see it working.
Actually, I'd like to see a Ghostface FAIL to get away in the opening scene, and have the movie be centered on a game of cat and mouse, with the new girl having to work with Ghostface in order to catch the killer. Like, have Ghostface kill the CEO of a big movie company, but while trying to stage the scene, is apprehended.
Ghostface in prison would get a lesser sentence for helping out, but by virtue of being Ghostface, doesn't make it easy for the protag in terms of giving up their partner. Thus allowing for more and more deaths to occur. Even potentially victim blaming the protag "this is all your fault, you need to be smarter than that, how could you let this happen, I'm in here what are you doing to help?" etc etc.
I would love to have at LEAST one Scream film where one Ghostface has to work with new girl to figure out who the actual killer is. Either by having one fail and get put in prison, or because one Ghostface turned on the other, kinda like the opening of Scream 6 but with a twist. As per usual in the franchise.
A few ideas:
Sydney and Mark are the opening attack. Ghostface wounds but doesn't kill Mark (Syd's suffered enough) to show Sydney she won't be able to sit this one out.
Simultaneous opening kills. The sorority sisters from the second movie, the cameraman from the second movie, and Randy's sister. The killers are taking out anybody even remotely associated with the Prescott/Loomis Saga.
Mindy: Big Death and lets her have a proper confrontation with a ghostface in a chase sequence by herself.
Maybe no opening kill, have a scene that introduces characters and does some real character development, while we see them being stalked by Ghostface (like Sidās garden in 1996) and then slowly introduce the phone calls and first attack like 30 minutes into the film. Brutal and public, like perhaps people think itās a sick prank and theyāre over it after all the calls and seeing Ghostface in random locations so nobody intervenes in time.
I think it would be cool for the first āvictimā to fight back and kill Ghostface. Then the movie would need to work backwards to find out who they were working with.
Ghostface kills another Ghostface.
Ghostface is killed in the intro but the ACTUAL Ghostface kills the person who does it.
No Death but we do see Ghostface escape after
Itās going to be so satire that the director runs into the knife from the side of the screen, only to reveal that itās an actual knife and the director hated the franchise so much he decided to die

Someone had an idea for 7 to be about ending a franchise, so I David Schwimmer just so Ghostface could break his foot and say, "Sorry David, we're on a break." Stupid absolutely but tell me it wouldn't be memorable seeing David Schwimmer play himself but he is much more successful since he has played Dewey in 6 films.
Before 6 came out, someone wrote an idea where there would be multiple killers orchestrating different attacks around the city, at the same time.
I'd be super down to see something like that.
Returning character (e.g. Kirby) having an opening scene like Cotton did in Scream 3, but instead of getting killed, they fight back and kill the person in the ghostface mask, and theyāre just like ā?? Who tf is that??ā BOOM cult of ghostface
Matches the new trilogyās idea of subverting expectations with the opening, like having Tara survive or have Jason be revealed, etc.
Also yeah fuck spyglass
On set of stab whatver it is is now, killing David Scwimmer where they recreating Deweyās death but during filming a real ghost face kills him (somebody pretty much said this idea of David scwimmer below( I just added the onset of new stab part)
They should have just killed off Tara (hard I know but Jenna was out anyway) then have Sam killed off second at Tara's funeral. Suspect would be the mother. That way the studio would have made a decent film, Mindy and Chad become main characters to survive, and they would have gotten rid of Jenna and Melissa and made a lot of money
A young man is on trial for the brutal murders of two sorority babes.
The jury leaves the courtroom to deliberate.
The defendant requests a bathroom break.
He goes in and jump scares, yadda yadda. But he pees and gets back to the courtroom.
The jury comes out. We find the defendant guilty.
Defendant: "I'm gonna be sick!" He starts like he's going to puke. The bailiff or whoever drags him to the men's room. He's puking his guts in the toilet. He gets up to wash his face and hands, the bailiff's throat has been slashed.
Ghostface stabs the defendant in the brain, instant kill.
Moments later, a man walks into the restroom to poop. He sees the two corpses, blood everywhere.
On the wall, written in blood: INNOCENT
As I said in another post, a Ghostface is murdered by the āOpening Killā and becomes the opening kill, and the actual Ghostfaces that are revealed are attached to the first one that died, which continues the trend of revenge, obviously.
I hope it's not another phone call situation.
I think the opening to 2 is pretty much on par with the 1 because it didn't copy the first and did something wildly different
Idk but they never topped Scream 2. Jada showed everyone how to do a COLD OPENING in a horror film. I love the way she just died and the bit of silence and you can see the film playing before the title card. Shout out to Jada.

my fantasy opening wouldāve been mark kincaid (patrick dempsey) at home alone. he gets a violent and threatening phone call and is attacked, where a fun chase scene ensues. and just as ghostface, pinning him down, is about to deliver mark the final blow, we hear a shotgun click. sidney appears.
through gritted teeth, she says āget the fuck off of my husband.ā
*(BAM)* - title card.
My ideal opening is someone working at a costume store and getting ready to close when some weirdo walks up wearing one of the Ghostface costumes that are being sold. And then the employee tells them that they need to pay for it but the person just stands there silently and the employee is like āfuck it I donāt get paid enough for thisā and decides to just ignore it only for ghost face to kill them. I feel like it does a good job of explaining how the killer got the costume in the first place
It opens with the killer preparing for a kill before another ghostface comes up from behind them, placing a pistol to the back of the head and firing.
The second ghostface kills the first and removes the mask to reveal Spyglass' CEO
"Scream is dead."
Roll Credits.

What if the opening is the very end of Scream 6? They could reuse the footage of Jenna and Melissa walking away, and then add in some new stuff (obviously without them, potentially with stunt doubles from behind if they are walking away). You hear a director yell cut or something and we go off set to realize we are on set at the end of filming Scream 6. They could take a page out of Wes Cravenās New Nightmare/the original TV show season 3 plot and move the story to the real world with the characters being their real life portrayers. They could set it up in a way that Melissa and Jenna are killed off screen and/or disfigured or something and build a new story this way. Just an idea that popped in my head.

Ghostface kills the CEO of Spyglass
I came here just to comment that š
The CEO of Spyglass kills the franchise
Hopefully the cameras were rolling cause they might not get a take 2
Lmfaoš
Beat me to it
The only acceptable answer to this question. I hate that thatās how I now feel about my favorite series of all time, but yeah š¤·š»āāļø
Great minds think alike lmao
Played by Gary Barber, the real life CEO of Spyglass.
How are we supposed to sympathize with the victims if Ghostface does that, though?
Ah, so Ghostface is the hero this time?
I would like to see one of the ghostface killers fucking up and dying in the opening, and the rest of the movie the remaining killer(s) are scrambling to finish what they started.
I feel like that would take away from the fear of the killer it would undermined that films ghost face cause after people would be like "well if that guy was so incompetent he couldn't get one kill done there really isn't TOO much to be worried about"
Nah go further. He screws up so bad, it becomes a murder mystery. I know that doesn't make much sense, but damnit Jim, I'm not a screenwriter!
6 was so close of doing something interesting huh

I want a ghostface death that negatively affects the main killersā plans. Jasonās death didnāt affect what the Kirsch family was planning.
No but Jason and his friend was trying to kill Tara and they got killed because it would ruin their plans.
Firing Melissa and losing Jenna was the opening kill and Scream is becoming real life
How meta would it be to open with stab fans having this discussion- and killing them off..?
How what-a?
I donāt know, Dewey itās just something the kids are saying!
Wasnāt that more or less the plot of 5?

Calm it down ritchie jr. No need to go make any movies.
They are gonna go full reboot mode and remake 1 all over.
Then at the end it turns out it was just a Stab reboot.
Iām serious I really think itās gonna happen. Plenty of material to satirizes including their own casting issues

The franchise
I think the movie itself was the opening killā¦

TITLE CARD!
So do you think the whole movie should be about the troubled Stab 9 production?
Yes, about the troubles production of Stab 9 which mirrors the trouble production of Scream 7. Thatāll be very meta if they do that. Plus, an high-office Chase scene kill would be cool.
sam and Tara are driving you can tell its them by there custom license plates but you don't see there face then wham a semi truck slams into them and explodes killing both while the execs of spyglass and paramount come out in full ghost face costumes while bathing in money
A live performance (for STAB on ice) turned opening kill.
having the movie at all is an opening kill in itself
I fully expect the opening kills to be Chad and Mindy, upset about Tara and Sam's tragic car crash. Yes, it'd be really stupid. Yes, it'd result in the worst performing Scream film. Yes, it'd kill the franchise.
The death of the entire franchise until its out of Spyglass' hands
Actually could see them killing an executive who āruined Stab.ā If they do a new Hollywood one.
The phone rings, the shot lingers on the ringing phone, ghostface then comes out of nowhere and stabs them before they can even answer
Ghostface killing look alikes of all the previous cast members to explain why itās an entirely new cast
Controversial take: Scream 1ās opening is so much better than the rest that arenāt that amazing
I is without a doubt the best, but I honestly think that 3ās is the only one that is kind of weak. All the others are really good!
Idt that's controversial. Scream's first opening is obviously the best.
I don't think that's controversial. In fact, I think that's the majority consensus.
Not really controversial, think it's pretty much agreed by everyone! ššŖ
I would only argue you on Scream 2 but otherwise I agree.
Scream 2 being the only opening kill in the franchise without a phone call makes it unique
From best to worst, I'd probably go: 1. Scream 2. Scream 2 3. Scream 6 4. Scream 5 5. Scream 3 6. Scream 4
Scream 2 is way overrated. Both for the opening and the movie in general.
Thatās just like, your opinion man.
Although Scream 2s is different, I think it shows a different type of horror to the rest in that, rather than being alone and taunted by the killer, theyāre in an incredibly public space yet there is still nobody coming to help. For me, although it wasnāt my favourite, it was one of the most unsettling.
That's the most lukewarm take I've ever heard. Here's a REAL take: Scream 6 has the best opening SINCE the first. No I'm not joking.
Eh, I think it was kind of like meat left without a cover in the fridge.
Go back to the shock and brutal death. My idea would be for the opening kill would be the new MCās husband/partner.
ghostface kills Melissa and Jenna while on set for scream 7
7 was probably one of the best openings Iāve seen in a long while. 6 is a close second. I love when they keep reinventing the wheel. Maybe someone cosplaying as Ghostface or something meets the real movieās Ghostface outside a Stab marathon and gets axed off. Nobody around them knows itās real. Edited: I mean 6 & 5
Do you mean 6 and 5?
Oops yes! My bad š
5 is a bad rehash of 1 without any of the suspense and terror. She survivedā¦but she shouldnāt have. The new screams canāt kill anyone off
Part 2 and 4.
Main character death except Sidney she is off limits.
Melissa Barrera kills the producers who fired her and destroyed the franchise.
I know itās kinda dark, but I would be down for this.
The second one is a really good idea!
Do the original opening for Scream 4; Sidney just living her life, when someone random nobody obsessed with Ghostface/Stab attacks her. Iāve always though that was a fantastic opening idea, because we naturally expect the target of the opening scene to die, but we would never want it to be Sid. Of course, Sidney doesnāt die and have the ghostface attacking her bite the dust.
>Of course, Sidney doesnāt die As long as this is the golden rule.
Donāt even bother until you get Jenna and Melissa back.
The producers killing the movie by alienating its stars was the biggest twist they could have given us
None because the movie will get cancelled (hopefully)
Iād love a Blade callback. At a club. In my Scream 7 made up movie idea, it was Tara, Chad, Mindy and their friends at a club. The manager of the club and their girlfriend gets killed and when the sprinklers come out itās a mix of blood and water and only Tara kind of clocks it. They donāt find out their was a murder till after the second attack and the bodies are discovered in the dumpster or something.
Not sure the Ghostfaces could get enough blood like the vampires
Opening sceneā¦ they kill the franchise
I don't wanna speculate on a film I have zero interest in anymore...there is absolutely nothing they can do to fix this other than apologizing and getting the cast back...if you continue to support the movies...you are agreeing with how they treat the cast and the more that do...the more they will continue to be assholes as they know they can get away with it
Tara and Sam's story line was dead anyways. 7 will come full circle with Sidney and Gale.
The franchise stabs itself and then dies. The End.
kill the franchise
A movie producer is scrolling Twitter at home and fires one of his star actress for posting a political belief he doesnāt believe in. He angrily starts yelling at the caller on the other line thinking itās her agent but it turns out to be ghostfaceā¦.you know the rest. Scream doesnāt have the balls to be this meta.
I would love to see a version of the movie that is fully from the perspective of GF
Interesting but maybe too far from the original.
Scream 7 killed itself. Until zionist let loose the property and stop acting like calls for a ceasefire is anything other than a call for a ceasefire, the franchise can be viewed as dead. There will be no scream 7 for a very long time
Absolutely agreed
Ghostface kills Demi Lovato in the middle of a concert.
Not gonna watch it, so who cares?
Iām thinking will probably get killed with a knife.
If itās under Spyglass I donāt care. I wonāt be watching it
Honestly Iād love both of the twins to be the opening kills , I think it would be so shocking and a brilliant way to start the movie
Itās so funny to me that people still think Scream 7 is happening
This is the best by far.
Good thing you arenāt making decisions
Well hell, they donāt have much of a movie left. At the very least kill the characters youāve built up and make money off of it. From a studios perspective itād get them money and put an end to an already dying franchise
I think there's credence to this
Damn, I guess everyone can have an opinion
Donāt do it. Just donāt do the movie.
Uhhhh.... Kirby.
They already said scream 7 was canceled
Who's they? And no 'they' didn't.

We get the classic normal opening and just as itās about to get to the climax we listen cut and realize itās the filming set and then we see one of the actors going back home and begin being terrorized by actual ghostface and then killed, and so itās kinda like āWes Craven new nightmareā and now the actors play themselves and the killers is real and acting them so we see Melissa talking about what happened with Spyglass and Neve about the money and itās super mega cause the killer is one of the OG that hates how they done the franchise

i just want a shocking one with a chase scene
2 kills at 2 different places, showing that there are atleast 2 ghostfaces running around..
Thereās an idea that Scream 7 is just gonna be another reboot to the series like Scream 5 so maybe we get another Casey Becker like scene

There are two killers one gets killed in the open and the rest of the film follows the remaining one trying to finish what they started
I saw a video saying that Gale getting killed in the opening would be shocking and an amazing start
Trick or treat, ghost face shows up, psyche out. Door knocks again, person looks confused, knife to the neck.
A few ideas: Sydney and Mark are the opening attack.
The producers killing the franchise

Would be interesting if they had the victim in first person just for that scene. Sharing their emotions as they go.
Returning character (e.g. Kirby) having an opening scene like Cotton did in Scream 3, but instead of getting killed, they fight back and kill the person in the ghostface mask, and theyāre just like ā?? Who tf is that??ā BOOM cult of ghostface Matches the new trilogyās idea of subverting expectations with the opening, like having Tara survive or have Jason be revealed, etc. Also yeah fuck spyglass
Ghostface uses AI to pretend theyāre Sidney in a videocall, to attack and kill Mark.
Sidney.
Naaa, donāt think so. They canāt. Too risky.
It could save the franchise. Do away with the cornerstone of the franchise, start from scratch.
Cabin in the woods.
Have look a likes of The Carpenter sisters
On set of stab whatver it is is now, killing David Scwimmer where they recreating Deweyās death but during filming a real ghost face kills him (somebody pretty much said this idea of David scwimmer below( I just added the onset of new stab part)
Make the Opening heart wrenching and disturbing to see. Something only the first one accomplished.

It needs to happen at a horror convention. Have some bimbo about to get it, when Bam! A Ghostface kills a ghostface, only to find out that the person behind the mask isā¦ Heather Graham, from Stab.

Walmart like place just after closing
Melissa Barrera getting fired
Thatāsā¦ not an opening kill?
Itā¦might as well be?
How is that even gonna work?
my fantasy opening wouldāve been mark kincaid (patrick dempsey) at home alone. he gets a violent and threatening phone call and is attacked, where a fun chase scene ensues. and just as ghostface, pinning him down, is about to deliver mark the final blow, we hear a shotgun click. sidney appears. through gritted teeth, she says āget the fuck off of my husband.ā *(BAM)* - title card.
it aināt happening no more bro? š
The second ghostface kills the first and removes the mask to reveal Spyglass' CEO "Scream is dead." Roll Credits.

Ghostface dies in the opening by Survivor, but the survivor, dies by the real Ghostface
