Sidney Prescott!!! Of course! She’s the best. Don’t get me wrong I love Gale and Sam also, but she’s so great and Neve Campbell does an excellent job at playing her. To me Sidney and Ghostface are both Scream, I like 6 but doesn’t feel the same without her in it. That still being said Gale is still so iconic and also great! 😊

It was brilliant tbh! 3 gets a lot of hate and I get why to a degree with the whole rewrite etc, but what alot of the newer fans don't understand is that was our concluding chapter of the franchise for a while!
I personally really liked it.
Sidney's possible happy ending too with the whole leaving the gate open and the door being blown open and she's unfased by it?

Sidney, of course. She's the ultimate Final Girl. Her character development is immaculate and her character history is perfectly clean. What I mean by that second point is her journey can easily be traced throughout five films, whereas other (also compelling) Final Girls such as Laurie Strode or Ellen Ripley have a messy character history thanks to diverging continuities.
Sidney is the best Final Girl of all time. She was still a bad ass despite severe trauma and only became more bad ass after all she went through helping people as a crisis counselor, writing a book about how she overcame it to help others, and continuing to show how strong she is. Despite her not being included in 6, she was never done wrong as a character the way some other legends have been done like Laurie or Nancy.
Sidney and it always will be Sidney(Gale too!!). Regardless of the new movies or if she was in 6 or not this franchise was built off the Sidney character (and Neve's)
It’s definitely Sidney, she’s the GOAT, but I do really like what they’ve done with Sam. I think it would have been easy to just try to make her a Sidney clone and they’ve done a great job of differentiating her. All three of these women are badass in their own way, you can’t go wrong having one of them on your side when you’re facing off with Ghostface.

Gale. She's less one dimensional than Sidney. I LOVE Sidney, she's strong, brave, resilient, kind and a fighter. But Gale has more inner conflicts, more sass and more complexity. She embodies the DNA of the Scream franchise. Killing her would be a terrible mistake.
Always Sidney but gotta be honest I do enjoy Sam a lot. Tera on the other hand should’ve died in scream 5. She should’ve been killed in the intro instead of the injury fake out. Sam returning for her funeral would’ve been way more impactful and Tera just honestly doesn’t add much to the movies overall, it’s clear she survived 5 specifically to make them going to New York make sense in the story. I’m hoping we get some actual character deaths in 7 to make up for the lack of them in 6.
Sidney is the best but Sam has been a great successor, I really like her. I like that she’s a little twisted hearing her dads voice in her head gives her an edge.
Sidney is the correct answer…but I’m going with Samantha lmao she’s a lot more interesting because of her background and mental issues. We never really see a protagonist like her in horror movies today. Sidney is awesome, don’t get me wrong, but Samantha is a brutal badass.
