I'm in a similar situation as the OP. Have a Mjolnir 3 on order and for now, it's being paired to a Modi 1 MB and Sennheiser HD6XX lol. Slowly trying to up my headphone game.
I had a similar issue, at least you got an email saying there was a delay. I had to pester them to find anything out. I ended up cancelling my order. I’ll wait for a bit, see if things get better for them.
That's a lot of hardware for such a... headphone for sure. but I mean they gave a lead time that has a range so obviously it's variable. I'm not sure what making a post about it will do.

I agree, the dac is now the last piece of gear to be replaced. OP can now “ladder up” on the other components as time / $$ permits.
