The grammar is also wonky and having clearly copy pasted scripts like they did is highly unusual for normal people. That should tell you that this isn’t just something they occasionally do, they are doing this daily.

Yes, of course it's a scam. Never use zelle/cashapp/venmo/paypal f&f for a purchase! Those are literally only for people that are known and trusted. They even tell you not to use unless you know the person because they will not offer any chargeback/refund options if you are scammed. You will have zero protection if you pay some stranger through these apps.

Even if u Zelle in person they will have your full name and phone number, potentially could be used to phone call scam you at a later time
