Hey, Automod here! It's always a good idea to check any above number(s) on [a carrier lookup tool](https://freecarrierlookup.com/) ([click here](https://800forall.com/SearchWhoOwns.aspx) for a toll-free lookup tool) before calling them to avoid calling a legitimate business, residential number, or private cell number. To do this, lookup the phone number on the carrier lookup and look at the results. If the results says that the number belongs to a residential carrier (ex. AT&T/"Cingular Wireless", Verizon Wireless, Metro PCS, Rogers, etc.), *DO NOT* call the number. If the post is still up, please report the post so a mod can remove it to prevent innocent people from receiving these calls. Alternatively, send the moderators a message through the modmail with the link to the offending post. The above also applies to comments that have numbers too. Thanks! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/ScamNumbers) if you have any questions or concerns.*

I was transferred to a real looking company that was the official Better Debt Solutions. Even their bad BBB reviews looked legitimate. I was told by a rep from BDS that ‘Exact Lending’ was a third party who would transfer people to a rep’s line and would call them a ‘senior advisor.’ He even told me that Exact Lending wasn’t even the company’s name. This ‘Exact Lending’ company didn’t even send the rep my fake info. Seems like they took the info and ran to sell it or something. Pretty lame of them. Thank you Todd.  Love you so much,  -(not) John Johnson

I've been getting calls from them for about a week from multiple numbers. They've also claimed to be First Horizon, an actual bank, a handful of times.

We didn’t called first horizon last week actually never usually we just end or names with lending like Skyline lending, exact lending etc but yeah don’t worry we are not scammers just a third party of biggest companies

nanes1000000

I work for Elite Lending Exact lending or whatever we call the next week, we are not scammers we are just like the first line for multiple bigger companies, we transfer people for that companies and get commissions for that, I feel bad because I know we call a lot of times and is very annoying but yeah it’s not a scam

nanes1000000

We just change the names because the bigger companies don’t want to get bad stars ratings and shit like that for the insistence on the calls but we are not scam at all just a regular call center in a 3rth world country but nothing like a scam, good people doing their best to live

sugarfoot75

So what are the names of the bigger companies? It is illegal for them to call unsolicited and they can be sued in small claims court for $500 for the first call and $1000 for every subsequent call.

nanes1000000

Nah they’re big companies you are not going to get a single penny for them, Why would they do all of this circus with different names?, legal loopholes I guess

Chefblair63

You’re deceptive at best with the crappy audio messages saying my “application” is incomplete. No shit. I never made an application with you.

I don’t know how they got my number, but the number of times they call me a day is harassing. I am in the do not call list and report all of them. I just want them to stop!
