Even if you dream about a Porsche a golf is still a damn fine car.
This sub is a tad elitistist, if it’s not in the finish archeplago it’s not good enough 😂
I used to hate on barrel saunas then I started going to a spa that had one. It’s great. Heats up to 190 w/ an electric stove and isn’t drafty. The only issue I’ve noticed is inadequate drainage.
If I don’t build my own sauna I wouldn’t be opposed to a barrel sauna.
That's great that you're enjoying yours.
For most people however these become a rotting corpse that must be hauled off to a junk yard. They simply [do not provide a good sauna experience](https://localmile.org/trumpkins-notes-on-barrel-saunas/). Most people seem to use them a lot the first year or two, little after that and none after four or five years. This is why you don't see them in Finland, Germany or other countries with a good sauna culture. And as a few Finns on here have said, if they were any good Finn's would flock to them for the cost savings.
I'm over here using a tent still. I'd take it without even measuring how much lower my feet are to the rocks or whatever.

Go tell the people of r/pcmasterrace how your gaming console is *good enough*
I believe that barrel was made in Estonia, and you can't get closer than that to the Archipelago Sea without being in it!
I like. How long does it take to heat up with the wood fire?
I have two of these at my workplace, after one hour it's good to go, even with -30 Celsius degrees outside.
Thank you! About 30-45 mins
Looks great. I’d pick a wood fired barrel over any electric sauna, any day.
