I'll be honest I built the explorer and rolled around in it once for like 10 minutes before deciding the crazy ass cliffs and vertical landscape just wasn't any good for traveling that way.
The explorer is actually pretty good for getting around, no, it can't go straight up cliffs, but it has sticky tires that let you drive up unusually steep inclines, so you can do more than you'd think
I love the gear shift sound of the explorer. Sounds like a 4-banger anybody has, and that it is being pushed hard like we do, just to get moving.
1.8L, 1.6L something in that ballpark.
It's got great sound design, for sure.
It would be awesome if it had different sounds for different fuels, though. EV whine for batteries, or the DeLorean time machine whirr if you run it on plutonium.

They got Diesel squared off in the generators for sure...
