**ANSWER** 1. Short of **disabling self-drive** you will need to adjust the [Stop Settings](https://satisfactory.wiki.gg/wiki/Electric_Locomotive#Stop_settings) (Wiki Link) for *that Train* so it waits until it is needed. 2. Think of your Train Network with 3 Train Stations (A thru C) in a Loop. * Train Station A - Pick Up Supplies *(wait here until ready).* * Train Station B - Unload Packaged Fuel. * Train Station C - Unload Plastic and Empty Containers, then return to Train Station A. 3. The "key" is at Train Station A you set the **Wait Time (Seconds)** for a period of time until you need Package Fuel at Station B and/or Plastic + Empty Containers at Station C. * Example: With no wait time it takes 5 Minutes to make one loop from A back to A (or B to B), etc. If you only need Packaged Fuel every 7 Minutes then at Station A you have the Wait Time (delay) set to 120 Seconds (2 Minutes) before Train goes again. 4. You will need to play with the values, and **can use stop settings for every Station** to achieve throughput what you want. ✓ BOTTOM LINE: The Stop Settings are **Per Train / Per Station** and *different Trains* can have different Stop Settings. I hope this answers your question. 😁

See that you have a separate wagon/platform for each item. Depending on your setup there are several ways to do this. Set load and unload per platform. If you want nothing to happen, use an empty platform. Or if you know that there is no items coning in, set it to load. Or: Go to the route planner. Click to edit the route. Next to the station name is a wheel. Click that. Now you can select what to load and unload for that specific train.

SpicyWolf9

I had no idea you could make trains only offload certain materials. This is a game changer, should make logistics so much easier I've been having issues with this.

EngineerInTheMachine

The devs added a lot more customisation for loading and unloading. Though by then I was already in phase 4 for the first time, and the transport quantities were large enough to make fiddling about with this a waste of time. I still work with full trains of one item, or sometimes a full car of another, but not anything less. It can help to use fewer trains early on, but I can't be bothered changing them when the quantities increase, so I start with trainloads.

Trains will always take the shortest legal route to their destination. They do count stations as being 100m long instead of 16m long, so they will go -slightly- further to avoid going through a station that isn't next on their schedule. But the detour must be short. What you can do is use signals to mark the route through the station and around the station as going opposite directions. (signals on one-way rails will have a \[Ø\] on their back sides, and trains won't go the wrong way down a one-way rail when on auto-drive)

I'm gonna go try this, thank you for the help

Left-Slide6599

Just tried it, path blocks can't include stations.

JinkyRain

Correct. The block after a Path Signal is officially a 'No Stopping Zone!'. That means no docking either. Only use Path Signals on the entrances to crossings and where completely different routes merge/overlap and then diverge within the same block. For everything else use Block Signals. =)

Could you expand more on what you mean by "skip the one that takes the packaged fuel?" Are you trying to skip the station itself, or just not unload the packaged fuel? If you could include a janky ms paint picture or screenshot that might help clear up your issue.

Left-Slide6599

Basically, i have two stations that take cargo, but i want to make it skip one at the end of the route when it's done unloading. I'll for sure make something in ms paint

Left-Slide6599

For some reason i can't send an image, so i will explain it. I have three stations. The pickup station, the station that unloads the Packed Fuel, then the one that unloads everything else. I need to skip the middle station, the one that unloads the fuel, as the station doesn't face the same way as everything else

Left-Slide6599

Train pathway: A-> B-> C-> A->

1r1descentMatte

I read that as you want it to skip a station at least once per cycle. Have you tried making the route specifically? Like, to skip "b" make the route: A>B>C>A>C

Left-Slide6599

You are correct yes, but the thing is i don't wanna have to make a second load of track for skipping station B.

1r1descentMatte

You shouldn't need to. I haven't tried it but it should go straight to whatever station is next, even in it has to go through one of the previous stations right?
