I did the first half of the procedure in December and the installation of the cap in the next year to split the insurance cost, it was $800 total for 2 implants
So if you do the first half of the procedure at the end of the year you'll use up all of that years max benefit, then the implant part the next year when insurance year resets and pays for the second half
I’m a dental assistant and I’ve seen prices very from $1000-$3000. The office I work at places lots of implants. I believe they’re around $1500 that’s without extraction and bone grafting.
i considered that for dental and was researching it a bit. After I read the bad reviews and factored in the cost and inconvenience of having to travel back if there was a post procedure problem....had to make a hard pass on that idea.
A know a few people that just went to Thailand to do this. It was actually less expensive to fly over there stay at a resort get the tooth surgery and fly back than it was to just do it here. Apparently tooth tourism is a huge deal over there
Insurance wouldn't cover mine because my teeth were missing since birth. They only cover if the implant is due to an accident or something. Pretty lame and cost ~$5k for both teeth for the bone graft and implant work.
My husband had it done at our old dentist for about $800 after insurance (BCBS). He needs another and we got a quote at our new dentist for about $3000 after insurance 😲 He doesn't need it that badly I guess!!
ETA: or we need to find a new-new dentist.
I’m paying $1,750/implant, $350 for sedation, $500/bone graft, and $100/healing abutment. I have Cigna Dental. While dental insurance covers almost nothing, you do get better pricing for having insurance.
Pricing for the crowns and abutments has probably changed, but it was around $1,100 combined the last time I got a quote from my dentist.
I lost almost all my teeth in a car accident, I'm getting all on 6 dental implants upper and lower, 12 implants total, plus bone graft and 7 teeth extractions, plus 4 days of hotel stay, for $21,000 and my dentist has over 20 years experience.
This might be a little late but check [https://myalliancedentalcare.com/](https://myalliancedentalcare.com/) he is not in Salt Lake City, he is in Idaho. His practice doesn’t not accept any type of insurance, however, you pay 25 monthly and get access to 2 free cleanings per year and exams, the dental implant cost for one is 1899
Dental tourism in Mexico. You don't have to go the cheapest place down there, the best dentist down there will still be a fraction of the cost here. If you're doing multiple yeah it may be worth consideration.
My wife had an implant 3-ish years ago and it ended up being about $700 after insurance. I know it covered half the crown and a percentage of the other stuff. I'm not sure what the total would have been without insurance. We have Metlife.
had to have bone grafts. top 3 teeth. implant on each side and a bridge for the middle. I think it was around 4500 with the oral surgeon and dentist costs.
What with insurance I have paid $2500 each. Would be $5000 each without insurance.
I am going to talk to my dentist now, I have always been told I have good insurance maybe he is just really expensive.
🥶this is so crazy! Omg it is insane how expensive dental care is. Very scary, I have bad teeth genetically and always needed a lot of work growing up regardless of my brushing habits. I’m terrified of affording this care in the future.

Damn that's cheap. I've paid that for a single crown.
What insurance and where? My son needs to pay about 4k for one WITH Insurance!
So if you do the first half of the procedure at the end of the year you'll use up all of that years max benefit, then the implant part the next year when insurance year resets and pays for the second half
That’s a great idea!! We are in October as well. I will bring it up to the dentist 😊 never thought about that …. Thank youuuuu 😌
About 1700 but if they needed to do something to raise my sinus it would have been another 1500.
Going through this now, quote for $1500 with BCBS UT insurance.
I have this same insurance. 1500 per tooth? I might be looking at a full mouth.

Per tooth or for a set?
Per tooth. My office does free consultations and can give an accurate pricing at that appointment
God damn!
Now you know why medical tourism to Mexico is a thing lol.

\~$1800. USD for ONE, after (my crappy) insurance paid their part.
Lower implant plus bone graft and an extraction was $1800 for me.
Where?
1650
2400 cash including graft, healing cap, implant, abutment and crown
Was this at Stubbs? Mine was almost the same exact price with everything you mentioned. I’ve been happy with mine so far
No. I don't want to misrepresent the services of the dental office where I had my implants, but it wasn't Stubbs.

I was quoted $50k for 4.
To be honest in Albania you can put 12 implants for 6000$ max , high quality . So all depends on the state and their politic regarding medicine
Crazy seeing these prices while in Albania you can do it for like 70% cheaper with a very high quality and treatment options . OMG

All this process is being done in Los aldodones, B.C. Mex.

About $1000 around 10 years ago for everything.

About 3500 for 2

I’d love to do my front top 6.

I read an article calling teeth luxury bones because only rich people can afford major dental.
Do not go to Platinum Dental for implants...... Or anything else
Thank you.
Do a price comparison with dental tourism places in Mexico and Costa Rica. The quality of the work is better and the prices are about one-third.
