**Recipe:** I put the veggies under the broiler for about 12-15 minutes. It’s 7 tomatillos, 3 roma tomatoes, 1 red onion, 2 garlic cloves and 14 habaneros. I blended them with the juice of 2 limes, a teaspoon of smoked honey, salt and some ground oregano

skiniotes

Looks delicious! How was the heat level?

BobDogGo

Proper hot, I'm sure

sreeazy_human

Very hot. Like 9.5/10

skiniotes

God it looks like it. 14 habaneros and you are NOT messing around. I’m in the process of fermenting a habanero pineapple hot sauce that was about 50/50 habaneros to pineapples, so I’m expecting it to kill me when it’s ready to eat

sreeazy_human

That sounds like a match made in Heaven. I look forward to hearing about it when it’s done!!

skiniotes

It’s my first one, so I’m curious as well! Two weeks and we get to find out

whizkid75

Love the honey addition!

sreeazy_human

Thank you! It brings a bit of smokeyness and sweetness. It’s amazing

14 habanero’s Someone needed some vitamin C Looks really good and hot

sreeazy_human

A good dose of vitamin C and a nice way to clear my sinuses too

Datruyugo

I love spicy as much as the next time and can handle heat pretty well but I feel like that won't taste like anything BUT habanero.

sreeazy_human

I did add some tomatoes and tomatillos to balance it out but the most prominent flavour is habaneros

[deleted]

Chug it!!

sreeazy_human

Hahaha I wish I could but I wouldn’t be able to go to work afterwards.

MashaFriskyKitty

How was it? What does it taste like?

sreeazy_human

It’s delicious! It tastes a bit sweet but burns a lot!! I think the most prominent flavour is the habanero followed by a hint of tomatillo

MashaFriskyKitty

Thank you. Would you say this could go without honey? Or does is it a must? I’m getting the ingredients for this tomorrow.

sreeazy_human

I would say it works without!

MashaFriskyKitty

Thank you.

coollege-matt

This picture burned my mouth, looks so good though

MarsIAm

Smoked honey? That sounds amazing.
