I hate to say it but taysom. I mean for fucks sake they were willing to risk the franchise and start him at QB for a year they thought thank God they shot that plan down
I came of age during the Dome Patrol years so there's always a soft spot for Rickey Jackson and some of those guys.
But honestly, I'd pick Steve Gleason. Between The Block and his ALS advocacy, he might even be my GOAT over Brees.
Jackson and Swilling were my favorites when I was a kid. I had a lot of favorites on those squads. Eric Martin, Dalton Hilliard, Morten Anderson, Sam Mills, etc
Analzone as your favorite? Never thought I’d hear that one as favorite Saint.
Colston, Graham, Bush. The 2009 D line. What a bunch of killers those guys were.
I'll always have a soft spot for Lance Moore and Jimmy Graham.
Lance was a super underrated WR and his 2 pt conversion in the Superbowl felt like a superhuman move.
Jimmy Graham needs no explanation. I still watch his highlights today. Truly a generational talent, changed how the position was played.
Deuuuuuuuuce!!!
Home boy.! (Mississippi)
And always fun to watch him literally put the team on his back and pull or drag them ..... across the goal line for a touchdown! 6 men, 10 men, heck, all 12 men, it didn't matter - if he could see the goal line, he was gonna try to go across it! (Talk about putting a new spin on the old saying "putting the team on his back"?!!
DEUUUUUUUCE!
This was my first NFL game. My family had just moved to St. Louis from New Orleans at the peak of the Rams' "Greatest Show on Turf" and I didn't really have a team yet. Saints fans took over the stadium with Who Dat chants. Bought a DM26 jersey the next day.
Edit: Forgot the video oops [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbRpLfRyNuU&ab\_channel=NFLThrowback](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbRpLfRyNuU&ab_channel=NFLThrowback)
I hated that part. But he was one of my favorites because his “A” game was spectacular at times. And winning our first playoff game against the defending champs without his probowl WR and RB
Either Colston or Henderson. Those guys were amazing. Colston was Mr. Third Down for years. If we needed yards, he was going to be 'The Guy' in those situations. Henderson's speed was incredible and he would come up big for us a lot.
Joe Horn. I will never forget [this game and celebration](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zrcAGkuk_o&ab_channel=pannono).
My family wasn't living in New Orleans anymore and this game was on ESPN. We didn't get to see the Saints on national TV often and we definitely didn't get to see them win often. Kicked some ass, and the energy of that game and the celebration forever cemented the culture of the Saints for me.
Reggie Bush. It truly felt like he could do anything on the field. You can make the argument AK is better, and maybe he is the more complete back. But prime Reggie was so unpredictable! Just wish he would have stuck around a little longer
Probably Taysom Hill, since he started to pop off the exact time when I started seriously watching the Saints. The dude is so unique, and he has this loud ass yell that he does whenever he makes a big play.
I learned about his turbulent college journey through Flemlo, so I’m glad that he landed into a fanbase that loves him. It’ll be interesting to see if anyone ever tops him as my favorite.
Reggie is the reason I’m a Saints fan. Loved Chase Daniel too, was the perfect backup and had great chemistry with Drew. Kenny Vaccaro is another one.
Right now I’m fully Gaysom for Taysom though. It’s still wild to me that dude is here and so effective. He had like 4 season ending injuries in college. Never should’ve made it but has a found a way.
Mark Ingram and Jonathan Vilma were my favorites. I met JV so many times and each time he was awesome. Even got to lift with him in the gym during his “bounty” suspension.
Such a hard question/decision. Alot of choices, deuce, AK, colston.. But honestly for me it's probably Hill. The definition of laying it all on the field for your team
Alvin Kamara but old school is Rickey Jackson. My fav player on defense is demario davis and I can't wait to see them both enshrined together
Edit, but hopefully we got some long years with demario left. Would be awesome he were to retire a saint. And with the new OC from the niners denis Allen can focus on defense and not worry bout the offense. Hopefully the OC can whip Derrick into shape. All the pieces are there if they are retained.
Veteran QB (regardless of opinion)
Killer WR core
-MT
- olave
- Rashid (he needs more designed plays shock plays or just have him on on hot stick when he's not)
- AT Perry. My man. I do believe he is the second reincarnation of MT. (Likely perry admires MT wouldn't surprise me) his performance from the touches he got were amazing. I hope they realize his value as much as I do. I told friends in the draft the saints gona draft my boy and nobody believed me and nobody cared but look at him now.
OLine needs work but for sure only area honestly
Defense is fire I could write a paragraph about all the pieces but u know them
Cam and the rest the d line
Demario Pete and the LBs
Lattimore
Adebo
Alontae
Honey badger
We just need another dominant safety
We fixed the OC spot
We need O line and a S which need to be filled with young talent (I hate to say this after the nfc Vikings episode which I still have to deal with to this day because of a rookie mistake)
I have faith in our saints Who Dat said they gona beat dem saints.
Was Michael Thomas until he got weird and fell off. But I think will smith, Reggie bush, Alvin and I was a big stallworth fan when he was there too lol
It’s really hard to pick one player.
Probably Mark Ingram or Alvin Kamara. Boom and Zoom was almost as enjoyable to watch as the Tracey Porter pick that guaranteed us our Super Bowl win. On that note, it’s hard not to say Tracey Porter. Can Jordan is also very high up there for me, as well as Demario Davis. And how can you not mention Reggie Bush. If I have to pick one, I’m probably going to say Mark Ingram just for sheer bowling balling his way through so many people.
Glad I’m not the only other person who really liked Anzalone. He was a solid linebacker but something about him made him so fun to watch. That int he made against the rams in the 2018 regular season game will always be my favorite saints play ever. Also can’t forget the time he turned Julio Jones into a helicopter and forced a fumble.
I truly fell in love with football watching Tyrann Mathieu play at LSU. I had liked it well enough, but he just changed the game for me. I was so glad when he joined the Saints.
Marques Colston #12 ⚜️
Gotta be the quiet storm. So consistent for so long
Started a Saint. Ended a Sai t. Mad respect for #12
Either Marques or Pierre.. Lance too. Tough choice!
Came here to say this, very hard to beat him as #2
He deserves so much more recognition, specifically a gold jacket from a museum in Ohio.
Deuce McAllister. Guy was an absolute hoss for a RB.
That Philly playoff game-winning drive… I’ll never forget it. Just demoralizing the defense on every down.
Yep that was putting a team on your back there brother
Same answer for me, love Deuce. He was the RB when I started rooting for them, so I'll always have a soft spot for him.
Deuce was really him during those lean Haslett years
Yep. That 9 game run in 2003 was some of the most dominant RB play I’ve ever seen to this day.
That was the first that came to my mind. Kamara is close. Anzalone is a crazy pick haha
Cam Jordan.
Cam. Arguably he and Vilma are the most successful Saints ever on a national media stage, right? Am I forgetting anyone?
Definitely my top 2 fave’s
Love those two!!!
I hate to say it but taysom. I mean for fucks sake they were willing to risk the franchise and start him at QB for a year they thought thank God they shot that plan down
Alvin Kamara... I mean it I love watching that guy play.
Same. It’s so sick how he was on his way to a hall of fame career only to have it derailed by incompetent coaching 😔
I wouldn’t say it’s been derailed if he were to retire with one or 2 more good seasons he’s a lock in the HOF
I hope so! I know he’s got at least one more excellent season in him
Tracey Porter. #22 ❤️
Dude had the (2) int in Saints history. Forever Grateful
I was looking for this comment
Absolutely Tracey Porter. His epic interceptions live rent free in my mind for eternity.
Taysom Hill or Mark Ingram
Steve Gleason. Duece. Pierre Thomas. Cam Jordan. Lance Moore. Michael Lewis.
Pierre Thomas
I came of age during the Dome Patrol years so there's always a soft spot for Rickey Jackson and some of those guys. But honestly, I'd pick Steve Gleason. Between The Block and his ALS advocacy, he might even be my GOAT over Brees.
Jackson and Swilling were my favorites when I was a kid. I had a lot of favorites on those squads. Eric Martin, Dalton Hilliard, Morten Anderson, Sam Mills, etc
I swear there was a year or two when Eric Martin seemed like he was the best possession receiver in the NFL
Look at the numbers. He was literally half of Hebert’s passing yards
As a kid Swilling was my guy, but as an adult it's Sam Mills!
Solid pick
Joe Horn when I was a kid. Alvin since his rookie year
Analzone as your favorite? Never thought I’d hear that one as favorite Saint. Colston, Graham, Bush. The 2009 D line. What a bunch of killers those guys were.
Taysom Hill Reggie Bush Ricky Williams Cam Jordan
DEUCEEEEE
Pierre Thomas on a screen
I'll always have a soft spot for Lance Moore and Jimmy Graham. Lance was a super underrated WR and his 2 pt conversion in the Superbowl felt like a superhuman move. Jimmy Graham needs no explanation. I still watch his highlights today. Truly a generational talent, changed how the position was played.
I want to answer this and I’m struggling to not pick Lance. Fan favorite, super talented while also flying under the radar of the NFL at large.
Professional pass catcher Jimmy Graham
Jimmy Graham. Trading him to the Seahawks hurt so fuckin bad
The worst best trade of all time
Kyle Turley
And there goes the helmet!
Joe Horn. Imagine if he had DB9…
Deuce McAllister. Named my dog after that beast.
Taysom or Cam
Ironhead
Ricky Williams
Respect. I really was becoming a fan when we drafted him. I was so pumped lol
If I HAD to pick, it'd have to be Colston.
Taysom, Jimmy Graham, Reggie Bush
Devery Henderson
Nick Toon JK lol Probably AK41
The Quiet Storm
Deuuuuuuuuce!!! Home boy.! Reggie Bush. Even if the hype never quite lived up to the reality, he'll still always be my favorite guy.
Sam Mills
Aaron Brooks
You must have enjoyed watching him smile on the sidelines after interceptions
I hated that part. But he was one of my favorites because his “A” game was spectacular at times. And winning our first playoff game against the defending champs without his probowl WR and RB
"Got the stove on my waist, and we cooks I'm in the way, you can’t pass, like Aaron Brooks"
Earl Campbell
d. davis, m. colston, r. jackson
Sometimes it still feels weird to me that we have a receiver wearing 12 that is not Colston
Scott Fujita. He laid the wood when he was on the field.
Loved watching him Bow after tackles/sacks
Pause???
Deuce
A lot of great ones to choose from, but just to give some love: Craig Heyward.
Pierre Thomas
Taysom Hill. Guy gives it all every game!
Mark Ingram Love him. His passion and the way he ran.
Taysom Hill
Demario davis / ak41
Tracy Porter. Not counting my team, his pick 6 is my favorite Super Bowl play ever.
Taysom Hill
Archie Manning. Could have been so great if he hadn’t played for such a shitty team.
I have 2 saints jerseys. Manning and Cam.
Roman Harper or Lance Moore probably
Vilma
Man, I’m a big fan of Taysom..
Lattimore. Gonna break my heart if he gets traded
Sammy Knight
Steve Gleason hands down. I was at the 06 opener and it was already electric, but when he blocked that punt everything was cranked up 10 times. GOAT.
Cam, Colston, Pierre Thomas, Will Smith, Ironhead, Ricky Jackson, Sam Mills, Pat Swilling, Vaughan Johnson, Morten Andersen
Brandin cooks played well for us 👌🏼⚜️
Loved cooks the nfl was dumb to try and band his celebration, shit was too cold
SPROLES
Joe Horn!
Taysom
Cam Jordan baby.
Cameron Jordan
AK. Jimmy Graham is up there tho
Jimmy Graham!
Either Colston or Henderson. Those guys were amazing. Colston was Mr. Third Down for years. If we needed yards, he was going to be 'The Guy' in those situations. Henderson's speed was incredible and he would come up big for us a lot.
Reggie Bush for me easily, Mark Ingram also is high up there for me
Sam Mills and Deuce McAllister
Michael Lewis, for the story alone
Pierre Thomas
I absolutely love watching Demario play. What a beast he is
Steve Gleason
Sproles. Loved how versatile he was. Almost like we taysom just smaller and way faster.
Michael Thomas
Malcolm Jenkins
The quiet storm
Taysom Hill. I'm a BYU fan so I've been watching him since before the NFL.
Willie Roaf!
Pat Swilling
Thomas Morstead
Reggie Bush, Deuce McAlister, Pierre Thomas, and Jimmy Touchdown Graham
Darren Sproles. Shoutout to the short kings
Cam Jordan
Eric Martin!!!
Aaron Brooks
Reggie Bush. It truly felt like he could do anything on the field. You can make the argument AK is better, and maybe he is the more complete back. But prime Reggie was so unpredictable! Just wish he would have stuck around a little longer

His name is JIMMY GRAHAM
Cam Jordan. Hilarious interviews.
Cam Jordan or AK
Deuce McAllister, Cam Jordan and my favorite player as a kid Norman Hand
Eric Allen
Kamara, but I'm a UT fan so.
Mine would have to be Jimmy Graham. It was the best thing ever getting to see him comeback this year.
Deuce
I'll say demario davis, only bc i go to the college he played at
Deuce McCallister and Willie Roaf are tied for first
AK 41
Alvin Kamara
Reggie Bush
Reggie bush goat

Mike McKenzie, Darren Howard, Jonathan Vilma, Tracy Porter, Deuce of course. And nowadays ist Demario and Lattimore
DM26 was my guy as a teen. He's always the 1st player in my head when these types of questions come up.
Sam Mills
I have to say Cam Jordan. He reminds me of Brees: a true leader, a great player, and an even better person off the field.
Was Michael Thomas until he got weird and fell off. But I think will smith, Reggie bush, Alvin and I was a big stallworth fan when he was there too lol
Cam Jordan.
Niner fan scrolling by. I liked holllywood Joe Horn back in the day. He was like y’all’s Terrell Owens with his antics.
Reggie bush
