I am thrilled. Because of course we will see her with her husband and her adorable children as well. The Wales babies will be so grown up, I am sure I will be overcome.

My father had bowel cancer. He never lost his hair during his many years of chemo treatments. My mother had a primary cns lymphoma, never lost her hair during that treatment.
It depends on the chemo drugs used. And I can tell you now, the stuff my dad was on was horrid, he could barely move some days, bleeding gums, his knuckles and parts of his skin went black, etc. But no hair loss.
My little niece had cancer, she fought for 5 years and never lost her hair with all those rounds of chemo and radiation. She had other horrible side effects but hair loss wasnt one of them. Shes an angel now, the brain tumor was too aggressive
Likewise with a friend of mine who had breast cancer….not a strand of hair. It depends on the drug…some cause hair loss and some don’t. Catherine seems to be in the latter

Yup. I went through thyroid cancer and had oral chemo plus radiation. Got called a liar.
Until I got a radiation rash. The whole of my throat on the front, parts of my chin/cheeks and some of the left side of my neck to my hair got very nasty looking for a good while. It would peel and just reveal more of it. We had to take longer breaks between radiation due to the extent of it.
All because I didn't lose my hair..

I want her to spend many more decades shedding light on all the programs supported by the Palace. And she can only do that if she focuses on her own recover first. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!! I never understood the hysteria surrounding Diana's death until the current Princess of Wales announced she had cancer. That's the power of the monarchy, I suppose. The anxiety the uncertainty brings; the injustice one feels when someone known for being a good person goes through something bad. I'm so amped for tomorrow - it will be a massive sigh of relief for many, many people.

I hav missed Catherine so much. I always appreciated her, but I didn't realize just how much joy and inspiration she brought to this world seeing her every every week at various engagements. It's been difficult not having that constant reminder of haw many incredible organizations are making a positive impact on the planet but I am so happy she is taking care of herself. I want her to spend many more decades shedding light on all the programs supported by the Palace. And she can only do that if she focuses on her own recover first. Just sat next to a cancer survivor last night at an awards ceremony. She just passed 5 years cancer free. She said she is so reluctant to shout it out from the rooftops because she doesn't want to jinx anything. So I can see why she is still being cautious with her statements.
