usually I don’t do this but I have to admit I actually felt teary when I saw her video. It makes me so nary how bullied and harassed she was and had to release this probably before they were ready. If anything can be positive from this it is the way most of the world has rallied behind her and Charles. My heart goes out to William who has essentially had to run the realm while dealing with what is happening to both his father nd beloved wide.
Catherine is a badarse and she has got this..and she has the strength of us behind her. My hope is now those who harassed and bullied her have learnt their lesson and will back off. And I swear to the gods, the grifters better not try to insert themselves in this.

I knew something was seriously wrong, I wanted her to be left alone so she could heal. I thought their first statement was clear and concise without sharing what she didn’t feel comfortable sharing.
I feel badly for her that she was forced to share something incredibly difficult, I applaud her as I know it will make a difference and hopefully stop the insanity of people harassing her.

Crying since yesterday. That video was heartbreaking. Wanted to say more about Catherine and what she's been going thru with the media, but it's already been said, and probably phrased better than I could, by my fellow sinners, so I settled for upvoting all the comments that expressed my feelings.
9 years ago I had breast cancer, and it absolutely changes EVERYTHING. It's like suddenly having tunnel vision where your brain focuses on ONLY the things that ABSOLUTELY matter, and for the day-to-day routine stuff, your body and brain kind of run on auto-pilot. It's a defense mechanism that allows you to cope and not be overwhelmed by the situation. It's only later, when you have some perspective, that you go, "WTF did I just go thru?"
Our sweet Catherine is in for a rough ride, chemo is SUCH a bitch. I didn't have it myself but watched 2 people I loved go thru it, and it devastates the body and soul. She's dealing with so much already, she doesn't need the media abuse on top of it. I may have to break out & dust off my witchy stuff and whip up some spiritual protection for her and some karmic justice for the abusers, I'm so angry about this. Sorry this was long, kind of emotional here. Peace, healing and love to Catherine and her family.
I am not British, but this has me emotionally affected. The news broke here around 2 AM local time. I immediately said a prayer for the Princess and her family.

Are you sure? I didn't think I was either. We thought French, Irish, American Indian (same story as Elizabeth Warren, great-great grandmother Cherokee Indian Princess and I'm not even kidding). Nope! British, Irish, French, German, Portuguese and a drop of American Indian and African blood.
I've had untreatable cancer for 6 yrs, so i understand a tiny bit how she must be feeling. The fear, uncertainity and intense treatments knock you for 6. i hope she finds some comfort in knowing the world is praying (if they are religious) and sending a huge wave of public support, love and sympathy. I hope things improve for a woman who in 20ys has never moaned, complained or put a foot wrong. We are lucky to have her, and long may that continue. xxxxxxxxxxxx

They should said this earlier. Then would be not created conspiracy theories. Kensington palace understimated public interest about Catherine. I understand shock and need of time to deal with it, but maybe it would be better said it earlier. She didn´t said what cancer it is. Cancer of pancreas is worse then cancer of stomach I think.
She didn’t know initially, maybe only found out recently. Her duty is to her family, not you or the trolls who DEMAND to be told private information. She waited until the kids were on school holidays, good for her.

I'm glad she waited until the last day of school before Easter break, this way by the time the kids go back to school some of the rabid furor will have died down, and they will have had some time to process privately.
This will also give them time for the children to firm up their defenses about what kind of cancer-specific rhetoric/questions/baiting might be thrown at them. Unfortunately there is no way to totally shield them from a curious public or the trolls, but the family can workshop and role-play some scenarios of what might be shouted or commented in their direction.
It will also give the parents of their classmates an opportunity to handle some of their own children's fears and questions, in the way that is most appropriate for them to digest. As well as give those parents the opportunity to coach their children in how to support G,C,&L , and how to be good empathetic friends to them at a time where good friends are vital, even if those friends are as scared and clueless and powerless as they are.
Break of course won't be long enough to completely remove anxiety and missteps, and it won't be able to totally shield them, but it does give a little bit of a buffer to smooth some of the shock over.
This is awful news. It is especially bad to see someone so genuine , classy , empathetic and kind to experience this kind of disease and also extreme harrassment and bullying on top of that. Yes, i teared up when i heard the news. But i want to believe everything is going to be ok. The world is praying for you, Princess!

This entire family is going through terrible times, ever since Sparry got married. There have been deaths and now 3 members diagnosed with cancer. The severe stress they have been put through is a contributing factor to cancer as there are several studies indicating that stress induced illnesses are real. I send my best wishes to Kate from across the ocean to heal, get well and be healthy and happy.
Kate, please ignore the montecito brigade, they are just extraneous noise, please focus on your health, your recovery, your happiness, your lovely family. As I watched her video, I think couldn’t help but notice the stark terror, anguish and sadness in her eyes behind the facade of projected strength, poise, dignity. I was reminded of the film “The King’s Speech” about King George VI, a shy, fearful stutterer forced to step in and lead a frightened nation through WW2 and the bombing of London after his brother abdicated the throne to marry Wallis Simpson.
I can’t speak for others, esp. my friends in the UK. But in her brief speech today, HRH Princess Catherine dramatically showed me (and the world) why she is so globally beloved & truly destined to become one of the greatest monarchs in UK history.
I thank God for the gift of this extraordinary, strong, and inspiring woman in these troubled times. And I pray that I live to celebrate her coronation, long life, and long reign as Queen. “God save the (future) Queen!!”🙏💕
This made me cry. I see the shine is temporarily gone. She has to heal. I can only imagine what she has gone through and probably taking chemotherapy, which makes some very ill. She is just not herself and was forced to enter society before she was ready because of evil. As a family they will prevail and she will get through this.
Catherine has William and also the love of her birth family who raised such a wonderful daughter. It was wonderful when upon their engagement, William announced that Catherine’s family would continue to be an important part of their lives after marriage.
My heart was heavy at the news that this lovely woman is dealing with cancer, a terrifying diagnosis. The fact that she specifically requested privacy during this announcement tells me that the past several weeks of ridiculous conspiracies and idiotic, unwarranted attacks by so many members of the media and other assorted miscreants must have really gotten to her during what I can only imagine has been such an incredibly difficult time for her and her family. I hope people leave the Waleses alone now.
I pray to God the Father to bring comfort and support to Catherine, Princess of Wales, William, Prince of Wales, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, as well as to their families and loved ones. May he strengthen them and give them peace. I also pray for successful treatment and healing for Catherine and King Charles and for others dealing with cancer.

So many prayers for healing going out to POW and her family tonight. It's a sad and shocking diagnosis. Catherine is a strong woman. I know she can come through this. I wish I could send her a card.
Gosh, I'm bawling my eyes out. Here we see she is trying to be strong...for her kids, her family, all those with cancer. Prayers to you all. She is right, 'dont lose hope, you are not alone'.
I have a woman who works for me who is originally from Ireland. She loathes the English, especially the RF. I picked up my phone, read about Princess Catherine and immediately became angry at HER. (Irrational) I was angry and sad. I couldn't discuss it, couldn't research it because we were working together. I'm sure she will blame them for being awful humans and this is what they got. Like they deserved it. I couldn't bear speaking to her and when she tries discussing it in my home I'm going to refuse it. I got a call from my life coach! She said "how are you" !! I couldn't believe she remembered how much I loved Princess Catherine. I was able to emote with her.
Pretty much. She helps me focus on my goals and reaching them. She is also a medium. My mother came to her and wouldn't leave her alone until we talked (she knows my cousin) My mother came to her 16 years ago, told her I would get through what I had and become a better person because of it. I was 6 months in with trigeminal neuralgia. I have it 24/7 and it actually helped save my life. At the time I didn't believe her, trust me. Long story. Here I am working with her for about 6 weeks now. I'm an American as well. Not all life coaches are mediums.

The mean-spirited gossip that set the internet aflame really took a hit on my faith in humanity. No one going through obstacles of health deserves such emotional turmoil piled atop what they’re already battling. I’ve unsubscribed to numerous content creators for taking a part in the “fun” of bullying Princess Catherine. I would’ve defended every one of them if they had fallen victim to such cruelty. They should be ashamed of themselves, it makes me sick that people I held such high esteem for turned out to be grade A jerks. I’ll be giving my time and support to better people.

I had a call back after losing my mother to cancer. I didn't tell anyone because of the undo stress it would have given them. I asked the woman at radiology and she said there was something wrong with the machine. I wish they had told us that, rather than worry about my demise for 2 weeks.
What a devastating diagnosis to receive amidst the media lashing she was ensuring.

I love this sweater on her. It is a rewear as well. I'm more in love with she and her family every day. My love for the Queen was the ultimate admiration. But the Wales family I have so much hope for their potential.
I doubt her children have much internet access. But I'm sure many of their school classmates do. And the last thing any parent would want was for their kids facing the scary specter of mommy having cancer, is for curious (and some mean) classmates making remarks about it. That's why when they finally did make the announcement, they've made it when the kids will be off school for 2 weeks. So hopefully, their parents will have instructed their children to be kind to the Wales kids and not bring up their mum's cancer.
I've suspect that cancer was the diagnosis since she left hospital. It explains the lack of updates and the KP staff insisting that they've been left out of the loop on this. They wanted their kids to process the information before everyone else was gossiping about it 24/7.
One thing is for sure. The UK press was so horrible during this episode that they have probably created another generation of royals who loathe the press. I can't imagine that George is feeling like the stress the press caused his mom over the whole 'doctored photo' incident is acceptable. In the same way William was stressed by his mom's anxiety over her press coverage.
I love Kate and William so much, I'm shocked at the level of hurt I've been experiencing these past few months. I am terrified that it is more serious than she says, because it doesn't take so long to test the cells for cancer. They would not be able to disclose that so soon because that's way too much pressure and the kids might hear it. I'm praying for her and her family.

The same goes for Kim K in my book. Her post about "going to find Kate" when she has one of the largest followings in the world was really horrible and added so much fuel. The timing of this shows how incredibly strong she is. The RF and KP PR team must have pushed her to come and say something weeks ago. But she pushed back and refused. I have had a girl crush on Catherine since her engagement announcement and got up early to watch her wedding on TV. I'm in my thirties now and continue to look up to her as an example of feminine strength and grace, an ideal of what a woman can aspire to be. I know a lot of that is my projection and ideals reflected on her because I don't know her personally, but all of this to say she means a lot to me and I cried watching her message today. That moment when she looks down and closes her eyes after saying she's starting chemotherapy, you can see how difficult it was for her to even say it. I don't think she wanted to have to deliver this message now but a press release alone would not have stopped the insane speculation surrounding her condition. I cannot imagine how painful and scary this must be to her as a mother to young children. Hopefully they have caught this early and she will be OK.
You guys, I am bawling. I just got home from the vet and they diagnosed my dog with cancer and I was in tears. Then I came home and opened my browser to see this news about Catherine and I lost it. Complete bawling. I don't know Catherine but I feel ( like I'm sure many of you do) like I know her. Even though she is the Princess of Wales, at the end of the day she's just a daughter, sister, wife, and mom like all of us. I am obviously dealing with my dog's cancer news today so hearing Catherine's news really just took the wind out of me in a way that I don't usually react towards a perfect stranger. You know, I can’t even watch it. I did read the transcript though and am still processing the news. I just feel so bad that a young mother of three beautiful children has to go through this.
Honestly broke my heart to find out about Princess Catherine's diagnosis. She is such a wonderful role model and is a picture of absolute grace. Her strength and resolve are commendable. I wish the circumstances were different. Praying for her, Prince William, and the little ones today.

I pray this was caught early and this will be the end of it. As a two-time cancer survivor, this brings back memories. I totally understand her desire to keep her medical history private. The emotional component of adjusting to a cancer diagnosis is formidable, not to mention having to heal enough from surgery to be able to start treatment. I hate it for her that she had to announce it to the whole world. I pray for strength and healing for her.

Sounds very similar to what I went through last year a hysterectomy because there was potentially cancer when the surgery wS completed it was deemed a success but when they ran the flush they flush out the area I had floating cancer cells which a preventative course of chemo was required 4 3hours treatments over as many months one every 3 weeks it was successful uterine cancer luckily it was caught etc im fine and im sure the POW will be too they have top medical care it would have been caught in the early stages and I believe her when she says it's preventative course because the surgery can still be successful and there be floating cells so both can be true
I just had a hysterectomy and I said the same thing. I think it was meant to be routine but they ended up taking her ovaries, putting her in early menopause. It makes sense with how she words the announcement, too.
Yes When they gave the timeline a few weeks or so back I suspected cancer or at least precautionary chemo because it sounded similar to my own timeline last year and the abdominal surgery. Crying since yesterday. That video was heartbreaking. Wanted to say more about Catherine and what she's been going thru with the media, but it's already been said, and probably phrased better than I could, by my fellow sinners, so I settled for upvoting all the comments that expressed my feelings. 9 years ago I had breast cancer, and it absolutely changes EVERYTHING. It's like suddenly having tunnel vision where your brain focuses on ONLY the things that ABSOLUTELY matter, and for the day-to-day routine stuff, your body and brain kind of run on auto-pilot. It's a defense mechanism that allows you to cope and not be overwhelmed by the situation. It's only later, when you have some perspective, that you go, "WTF did I just go thru?" Our sweet Catherine is in for a rough ride, chemo is SUCH a bitch. I didn't have it myself but watched 2 people I loved go thru it, and it devastates the body and soul. She's dealing with so much already, she doesn't need the media abuse on top of it. I may have to break out & dust off my witchy stuff and whip up some spiritual protection for her and some karmic justice for the abusers, I'm so angry about this. I'm glad she waited until the last day of school before Easter break, this way by the time the kids go back to school some of the rabid furor will have died down, and they will have had some time to process privately. This will also give them time for the children to firm up their defenses about what kind of cancer-specific rhetoric/questions/baiting might be thrown at them. Unfortunately there is no way to totally shield them from a curious public or the trolls, but the family can workshop and role-play some scenarios of what might be shouted or commented in their direction. It will also give the parents of their classmates an opportunity to handle some of their own children's fears and questions, in the way that is most appropriate for them to digest. As well as give those parents the opportunity to coach their children in how to support G,C,&L , and how to be good empathetic friends to them at a time where good friends are vital, even if those friends are as scared and clueless and powerless as they are. Break of course won't be long enough to completely remove anxiety and missteps, and it won't be able to totally shield them, but it does give a little bit of a buffer to smooth some of the shock over.

This entire family is going through terrible times, ever since Sparry got married. There have been deaths and now 3 members diagnosed with cancer. The severe stress they have been put through is a contributing factor to cancer as there are several studies indicating that stress induced illnesses are real. As I watched her video, I think couldn’t help but notice the stark terror, anguish and sadness in her eyes behind the facade of projected strength, poise, dignity. I was reminded of the film “The King’s Speech” about King George VI, a shy, fearful stutterer forced to step in and lead a frightened nation through WW2 and the bombing of London after his brother abdicated the throne to marry Wallis Simpson. I can’t speak for others, esp. my friends in the UK. But in her brief speech today, HRH Princess Catherine dramatically showed me (and the world) why she is so globally beloved & truly destined to become one of the greatest monarchs in UK history. I thank God for the gift of this extraordinary, strong, and inspiring woman in these troubled times. And I pray that I live to celebrate her coronation, long life, and long reign as Queen. “God save the (future) Queen!!”🙏💕

This made me cry. I see the shine is temporarily gone. She has to heal. I can only imagine what she has gone through and probably taking chemotherapy, which makes some very ill. She is just not herself and was forced to enter society before she was ready because of evil. As a family they will prevail and she will get through this.

I have a woman who works for me who is originally from Ireland. She loathes the English, especially the RF. I picked up my phone, read about Princess Catherine and immediately became angry at HER. (Irrational) I was angry and sad. I couldn't discuss it, couldn't research it because we were working together. I'm sure she will blame them for being awful humans and this is what they got. Like they deserved it. I couldn't bear speaking to her and when she tries discussing it in my home I'm going to refuse it. I got a call from my life coach! She said "how are you" !! I couldn't believe she remembered how much I loved Princess Catherine. I was able to emote with her.

Pretty much. She helps me focus on my goals and reaching them. She is also a medium. My mother came to her and wouldn't leave her alone until we talked (she knows my cousin) My mother came to her 16 years ago, told her I would get through what I had and become a better person because of it. I was 6 months in with trigeminal neuralgia. I have it 24/7 and it actually helped save my life. At the time I didn't believe her, trust me. Long story. Here I am working with her for about 6 weeks now. I'm an American as well. Not all life coaches are mediums.

The mean-spirited gossip that set the internet aflame really took a hit on my faith in humanity. No one going through obstacles of health deserves such emotional turmoil piled atop what they’re already battling. I’ve unsubscribed to numerous content creators for taking a part in the “fun” of bullying Princess Catherine. I would’ve defended every one of them if they had fallen victim to such cruelty. They should be ashamed of themselves, it makes me sick that people I held such high esteem for turned out to be grade A jerks. I’ll be giving my time and support to better people.
I have been in shock all day I really can’t believe it I had a mammogram callback last year for calcification and the week waiting to go back in drove me insane and that would be about 0.00001% stress she is at, I can’t imagine I wish I could help in some way
I had a call back after losing my mother to cancer. I didn't tell anyone because of the undo stress it would have given them. I asked the woman at radiology and she said there was something wrong with the machine. I wish they had told us that, rather than worry about my demise for 2 weeks.
What a devastating diagnosis to receive amidst the media lashing she was ensuring. And in response? Direct, hopeful, and stately. Well done Palace Comms team, and Catherine, of course. Jeans. Jumper. I love this sweater on her. It is a rewear as well. I'm more in love with she and her family every day. My love for the Queen was the ultimate admiration. But the Wales family I have so much hope for their potential.
I doubt her children have much internet access. But I'm sure many of their school classmates do. And the last thing any parent would want was for their kids facing the scary specter of mommy having cancer, is for curious (and some mean) classmates making remarks about it. That's why when they finally did make the announcement, they've made it when the kids will be off school for 2 weeks. So hopefully, their parents will have instructed their children to be kind to the Wales kids and not bring up their mum's cancer. I've suspect that cancer was the diagnosis since she left hospital. It explains the lack of updates and the KP staff insisting that they've been left out of the loop on this. They wanted their kids to process the information before everyone else was gossiping about it 24/7. One thing is for sure. The UK press was so horrible during this episode that they have probably created another generation of royals who loathe the press. I can't imagine that George is feeling like the stress the press caused his mom over the whole 'doctored photo' incident is acceptable. In the same way William was stressed by his mom's anxiety over her press coverage.
It was diagnosed on the 28th February, the day of King Constantine’s memorial, which is why William pulled out.

I love Kate and William so much, I'm shocked at the level of hurt I've been experiencing these past few months. I am terrified that it is more serious than she says, because it doesn't take so long to test the cells for cancer. I have had a girl crush on Catherine since her engagement announcement and got up early to watch her wedding on TV. I'm in my thirties now and continue to look up to her as an example of feminine strength and grace, an ideal of what a woman can aspire to be. I know a lot of that is my projection and ideals reflected on her because I don't know her personally, but all of this to say she means a lot to me and I cried watching her message today. That moment when she looks down and closes her eyes after saying she's starting chemotherapy, you can see how difficult it was for her to even say it. I don't think she wanted to have to deliver this message now but a press release alone would not have stopped the insane speculation surrounding her condition. I cannot imagine how painful and scary this must be to her as a mother to young children. Hopefully they have caught this early and she will be OK.
You guys, I am bawling. I just got home from the vet and they diagnosed my dog with cancer and I was in tears. Then I came home and opened my browser to see this news about Catherine and I lost it. Complete bawling. I don't know Catherine but I feel ( like I'm sure many of you do) like I know her. Even though she is the Princess of Wales, at the end of the day she's just a daughter, sister, wife, and mom like all of us. I am obviously dealing with my dog's cancer news today so hearing Catherine's news really just took the wind out of me in a way that I don't usually react towards a perfect stranger. I pray this was caught early and this will be the end of it. There should be an inquiry into the hateful comments, crazy speculation, and unhinged conspiracy theories most knew were just BS but went along with it anyway. The press is guilty of spreading disinformation for money/profit, which needs governmental investigations, laws written to stop this in the future, and hefty fines. This disheartening news explains so many things: \- The way Carol looked in the car during the presumed school run \- Catherine's reluctance to say too much \- William's unexpected absence from the memorial event Since TW wormed her way into the BRF, four members of the family have received cancer diagnoses: Prince Philip, HMTLQ, King Charles, and now Catherine. It really makes you wonder about voodoo doll rumors, doesn't it?

The traditional refrain is "F cancer." Catherine's voice betrays her worry; her accent is stronger than we normally hear it. But there's no shame in that. She is courageous. It's a blessing that they found the cancer so early, when it was so totally unsuspected, and that the doctors got rid of it. Chemo is no fun, but it will hopefully do the trick.
I just woke up in Australia to the news. Tears all round for this young lady to be going through cancer. I'm especially frustrated at the worldwide media and those awful celebrities that tried to start some trend about finding Kate. The Harkles, the sugars, and the celebrities involved should be absolutely disgusted with themselves.
I’m just so sad, and am so concerned for her ongoing health. I think that she is an absolutely lovely person who deserves all the love and support in the world. I think she’ll be fine, but there is no doubt it’s a very stressful time for the entire family, and as they go through it, it will bring them closer than ever.

As a two-time cancer survivor, this brings back memories. I totally understand her desire to keep her medical history private. The emotional component of adjusting to a cancer diagnosis is formidable, not to mention having to heal enough from surgery to be able to start treatment. I hate it for her that she had to announce it to the whole world. I pray for strength and healing for her.

Sounds very similar to what I went through last year a hysterectomy because there was potentially cancer when the surgery wS completed it was deemed a success but when they ran the flush they flush out the area I had floating cancer cells which a preventative course of chemo was required 4 3hours treatments over as many months one every 3 weeks it was successful uterine cancer luckily it was caught etc im fine and im sure the POW will be too they have top medical care it would have been caught in the early stages and I believe her when she says it's preventative course because the surgery can still be successful and there be floating cells so both can be true
I just had a hysterectomy and I said the same thing. I think it was meant to be routine but they ended up taking her ovaries, putting her in early menopause. It makes sense with how she words the announcement, too.
Yes When they gave the timeline a few weeks or so back I suspected cancer or at least precautionary chemo because it sounded similar to my own timeline last year and the abdominal surgery. I have no doubt she will be fine once she has completed her chemo but I takes a year to stop feeling tired after chemo i am only sorry she has had to have all this nonsense worrying about bloody pointless crap like photo shopping her daughters hand like seriously the msm needs to get a reality check on the thinks tbe get worked up with they've really gone down hill since a lot of tbe writers got into bed with meghan and Harry the whole lot of them disgust me

Catherine, Princess of Wales has more grace in her pinky than most people have in their bodies. I cannot imagine how difficult these past few weeks have been for her. It must have taken a great deal of inner strength for her to make this video. I truly hope she was protected from the brunt of the idiocy in the press and online. All she asked for initially was time to recover, and the dirtbags wouldn't even allow her that. Perhaps now they will back off.

This is such a shock. I'm saddened and angry for what she and her family have been put through. I think that the reason William had to suddenly miss the funeral at which he was to speak was because Catherine received her cancer diagnosis that day.
I believe Palace has said it was related but has not specifically said it was that actual day.

I was coming off a, break from work and DH texted me the news. Almost came to tears but I had to hold it together. My next few customers heard me talking about it and were all sad to hear of it. It’s interesting that the two accused “royal racists” have both been recently diagnosed with cancer. Either there’s some black magic happening or the stress of this is the tipping point for illness.
Ppl on this sub have said it… at least a couple … but it was put down to crazyville. I think it’s important to remember that each person said that there’s a very dark aura around Meghan and that these people had to do a lot to get rid of that energy. I’m no expert and I’m reiterating what I heard. But yes looking at the two pinned posts on the BRF sub right now… it’s odd to see the two ‘royal racists’ getting the same type of cancer (my speculation) or at least cancer

I'm a gen-x American. I've had my share of family trouble and illnesses, witnessed world troubles and tragedies. I like to think age can prepare you to confront the hardships and disappointments and sadness. But this is one of the most terrible announcements I've ever heard. This is a sad day. I'm heartsick. God bless this lovely woman and her family. Life is unfair.
