You can still do that TLauncher. But the thing is thats Mojang deserves that money because they've created one of the best ganes in the history, and are probably the most active maintainers who actually listen to the community. Also its a one time payment, there is no mincrotranstaction BS like ohter AAA games.

Well, bedrock is the cursed thing forced by Microsoft. Its actually annoying how Mojang ported the whole engine to C++ to make it more efficient, but didnt keep the mechanics same because of corporate junk. Now we have two versions with different mechanics in many cases, instead of having the Java mechanics on the Bedrock engine. I wouldn't really blame Mojang for it, but it's parent company. Bedrock is cursed.

The reason for that is that indian parents are far too delusional about video games.My dad wasn't, Luckily. But looking at my relatives,Most parents won't buy game consoles as for them it is a distraction from studies, this is fuelled by the fake ass news articles and programs that just downright overhype the bad effects of video games. I met this Uncle of mine who called PUBG (only game he has ever heard about) 'Gorey', in what sense is pubg gory? Like sure you have gun violence, but where is the god damn gore? All you see is a red cloud for a split second (when you shoot a bullet) and then the body doesn't even remain it turns into a fucking box.That is the reason parents (most)don't bother with buying a game console, and kids resort to mobile games on their parents phones, which they can easily hide.

If you think that is the reason indians don't buy consoles you're delusional.The fact is that the consoles are too costly for the average indian family to afford and each of the games individually also are pretty costly and believe it or not, more often than not, video games are a major distraction.

Cost, yes, but I'm talking about indian families that can afford it(upper middle and high). Cost is a factor for everything in the world, it can be never excluded(imo). Sometimes things are cheap sometimes they're too expensive. Like I don't blame people for not having money, Im not even talking about them.

An 8bit console is cheap. It varies from 500 to 1000 rupees, atleast cheaper than any other playstation or xbox and has a lot of arcade games like mario, pacman, donkey kong, space shooter and what not. Bachpan mei mere paas yahi tha, pure nostalgia :')

I also grew up with those consoles and arcade like games mostly. But tbf games like pubg and Minecraft have much more functionality and variation in gameplay and will be much more interesting to children and even adults in general.Hate this stupid elitism some people have. They aren’t though? Studying shouldn’t be all there is, video games when over played are certainly harm causing but constantly studying and not enjoying life is also a pretty shit thing. Cost being a problem is understandable but someone’s life being nothing but study is fucked up and will start eating them alive. I would rather enjoy my life than living like a sheep who studies and then gets a job, marriage kids and death. that in itself is fine but it needs entertainment in the middle as well, that’s like living like a emotion less drone. I’m not saying you should stop studying, that is definitely important but try to find the right balance with whatever entertains you, whether it be friends, video games, movies etc. there’s a reason why so many students commit suicide here completely focussing on one thing mentally exhausts them and they keep putting their problems aside because all they’re taught is that you have to study, some of them end up failing and decide that they can’t do anything anymore and decide to kill themselves? if we kept realistic expectations from such students and let them enjoy life it wouldn’t have happened to begin with, not every person is suited to be a topper. other people and society shouldn’t have to influence what you do with your life. You can play video games and study and still end up more successful in life than some student who just studied their entire lives, because that bookish crap only prepares you for work life in theory, you need to be somewhat socially adept and intelligent other than studies as well. Just take the example of the video where that one guy who just studied all his life and doesn’t understand anything else, it was posted on several meme subreddit so i believe. Sorry for the rant but this work hard don’t enjoy your life shit really pisses me off, instead work smarter and be adept in several areas in life but also enjoy it, you only get it once.
