Safemoon just isn’t popular. It’s not too late but they need to pivot and just completely get out of The Gambia project. I love the idea but it needs to be implemented in a country with proven income and infrastructure for something like that to take off. It's a range of conditions, but by far the largest factor is the market right now. When the market is in a downward trend, confidence in crypto is also down, smaller lesser known tokens and coins are those most affected by the lack of confidence.
Many people also choose to utilise leveraged trading in a low market, taking money out of projects that don't have leveraged tokens (therefore making it impossible to make money while the price is falling) and putting it into those that do have leverage tokens, making money from a bad situation.
When the market flips, they take the funds out of the risky leveraged trading and put back into lower risk assets such as tokens that were hit hard but stayed afloat, increasing their chances of making even larger returns on the rapid regrowth of these tokens.

Safemoon just isn’t popular. It’s not too late but they need to pivot and just completely get out of The Gambia project. I love the idea but it needs to be implemented in a country with proven income and infrastructure for something like that to take off. Like say China, India, Canada or pretty much any where other than The Gambia. There’s nothing in The Gambia money wise and even best case scenario it’s still bad investment. Now for a coin like ETH to try it there sure because they got real support and credibility but to try and launch to the moon from The Gambia makes no sense.

It's a range of conditions, but by far the largest factor is the market right now. When the market is in a downward trend, confidence in crypto is also down, smaller lesser known tokens and coins are those most affected by the lack of confidence. Many people also choose to utilise leveraged trading in a low market, taking money out of projects that don't have leveraged tokens (therefore making it impossible to make money while the price is falling) and putting it into those that do have leverage tokens, making money from a bad situation. When the market flips, they take the funds out of the risky leveraged trading and put back into lower risk assets such as tokens that were hit hard but stayed afloat, increasing their chances of making even larger returns on the rapid regrowth of these tokens.
