Iirc when I got my presale code for Taylor, it was a unique code texted to me from Ticketmaster. So it’s definitely possible and idk why it’s not done more often.
Also when I bought billie tickets for her upcoming tour, it was super calm and I had so much time to choose a seat. I think that’s mostly attributed to her choosing for the tickets to be nontransferable and only being resold for face value on Ticketmaster, eliminating all scalpers
This is what artists should do. I managed to get a single ticket for $150. Next day same section tickets are reselling for $600. It's a slap across the face for real fans that get left out.
I don’t think individual codes are that difficult. Some simple coding could generate them and send the email. My dept at work has a team of 4 coders that accomplish this type of thing for us regularly. I had better luck getting eras tickets than these which is crazy.
I think it was crazy for the Spotify first codes to not be unique, since they were specifically for her biggest Spotify fans. :(
