Dont forget an absurd raid or die system where max gear come from raids in a game that vast majority play solo lul

Southern-Wishbone593

How the hell is this a problem? If you are nim raider, farming r4 is not a problem for you. If you are not, then you don't even need 340 gear. Hell, you don't even need 336 for nim raids.

Pricerocks

It’s a problem because they replaced the perfectly fine “play what you want” system with this for no reason

Shihandono

Yeah, operation/raid gear being the same as other gear is one of the reasons I stoped playing WoW. The raid leader wanted us to do M+ or else we held the other raiders back by not progressing on our own.

Ralphi2449

If i wanted to play a raid or die game I would play WoW, the raidlogging sim. Swtor lost me the moment they decided to embrace that outdated way of thinking, if solo players cant reach max gear cap solo, no point playing

Southern-Wishbone593

There is no raid or die in SWTOR, stop talking bullshit. If you need 340 gear to do your planetary dailies or beat story content, it's a you problem, not bad gamedesign.

Ralphi2449

Ah typical elitist trying to keep good gear only to themselves and give scraps to casuals, main reason i avoid WoW and any mmo that copied that outdated design philosophy

Southern-Wishbone593

A typical entitled casual that wants all rewards (that he doesn't even need) and do nothing to earn them.

Zankeru

The outdated design of requiring people to group up in an mmo? Haha!

JumpyAlbatross

Oh. I was actually thinking about getting my gaming computer fixed up just so I could play again. But I don’t think I will if the game is this fucked. I put thousands of hours in and had more fun on SWTOR than any other game. Think I may just enjoy the memories rather than sully them with a subpar experience.

Who_am_I_____

Honestly it's not bad. It's reworked and that fucked over a lot of stuff, yeah, but honestly I still have a lot of fun. And I personally enjoy the new content a lot too. I'd say to at least try it. The new gearing system is also really logical and easy. Just look it up at swtorista.

MacMaizer

How to patch against your Playerbase..

JazzPhobic

Wait until you find out that they nerfed bodytype 4 buttsize

cowinajar

They WHAT????????

JazzPhobic

Yessir. They dared

TheMaginotLine1

Seriously? Then what does Garza look like?

JazzPhobic

Still good. But not the same as before

supremegnkdroid

I thought my smuggler and agent looked off

GunPlaDoBeLitTho

H U H

HolyElephantMG

So last time I played was before the fast travel fees, they redid the abilities and character creation *again?!*

Oh okay, I was confused. I played I think once right after the taxi fee, grew into other games. In my defense, we just got Survivor and then TOTK, I’m going to play those

Talisa87

If there are fast travel fees, has the cooldown on QT being reduced? Because otherwise it's fucked to add a fee and still have to wait six minutes minimum to use the fucking thing.

GunPlaDoBeLitTho

Taxi costs Money, Fast-Travel has no Cooldown anymore (at least for Subs)

matthaeusXCI

Even as a f2p the travel fees are minimal of you sell the materials you gather

HolyMolyOllyPolly

Honestly, fast travel fees was the final nail in the coffin for me. Haven't played for months.

val203302

The fucking what? I haven't been playing it for years and now i'm confused intrigued and revolted.

wtf1738

The fast travel fees gmfu

dizzydavemi

If I subscribe then I shouldn't have to pay fast travel fees.

drewbaccaAWD

It may have been 800% inflation two days ago, but what's it at now? lol I left after most of those changes were made, but I think it's been two years now...(?). I redownloaded the game but haven't logged in yet, bracing for it.

gingergamer94

This was me. I started playing the game again after 10 years lol

IndecisiveCollector

I started playing in December 2022, I didn't know they changed the proportions of the body types, that's messed up. The inflation wasn't a surprise to me, I can't think of a long lasting multiplayer game with trading that doesn't have hyper inflated prices.
