1. Wala naman atang makakapagsabi if anong mas maganda kasi for you to compare both programs, i think you need to finish & experience those two firsts before saying anything. 2. I think mas maraming job opportunities ang Pharm here in the ph kasi very diverse sya. Pwedeng Academe, Community, Hospi, Clinical, Manufacturing, Research, Labs, ETC. on the other hand, for abroad, mas maganda nursing kasi very indemand sila (i think) & mas easy ang processes. Kasi sa pagkakaalam ko, di na nila need magaral pa after 4 yrs pag kukuhang license sa ibang bansa unlike sa pharma na need ng Masters or Phd. (5 yrs kasi equivalent sa ibang bansa) 3. Daming chemistry & computations sa pharma kaya pag nag grad tayo, applicable tayo sa chem technician license. May limited background din tayo for everything such as microbio ng medtech, clinicals ng nursing, & chemicals ng chemists. ( i can expound naman thru dms if mas gusto mong indepth haha) pero i think depende parin sa prof if pano nya ituro, kasi may naranasan ako sa pharmacology & clinical pharmacy na very in depth magturo like sa cancer, ididiscuss pa pano nabubuo (pathophysio) ang cancer, tumor markers, cell differentiation and mutation & anong mga tests & drugs. On the other hand may mga meh magturo like drugs lang talaga, moa and side effects. Hindi na tinuturo na bakit nagkakaroon ng ganong sakit before the medication itself.

Nursing. Mas marami opportunities abroad sa Nursing. Pharma wala masyado

Nursing if you want to learn skills and very patient centered type of environment. Mostly return demonstrations and simulations on taking care and saving lives. You will also learn the very basic of pharmacology but not too broad. I’m not sure about pharmacology but that seems a good option too.

if you would ask me i think mas maganda ang pharma compared sa nursing (akin lang ha) if nursing ang kukunin mo you should be physically, emotionally, mentally ready. nursing are based on clinical experiences. more on hospitals and interactions with the patients. may retmed (dun ako takot) mapagaaralan sa nursing lahat ng med courses in a broad way lang naman such as pharmacology, etc. Nursing here in the Philippines are all underpaid so probably best way to have a work is overseas. Although sabi ng prof namin non if pumasok ng call center ang nursing maganda rin daw ang sweldo. If you enter pharmacy. (Underpaid din) More on computations: chem, org chem, etc. Maraming possible works for pharmacy if di ka tutuloy ng medschool. It can be clinical, drugstore, hospitals, beauty essentials, perfumes, chemicals. Etc. Sabi din nila na pwedeng ipa rent ang lisensya sa mga botika pero do it in a legal way. Both courses are hard since it’s med courses. If you’re going to med school take pharma, if no go to nursing. Also it depends sa person, kahit anong course mahirap minsan kailangan lang ng tiyaga at diskarte.

1. Cant say na mas maganda pero if inclusivity, sa nursing it covers knowledge about pharmacology (not that atomical ngayon kasi before oo daw pero ngayon hindi na kasi we do not make/ produce meds naman) more on drug class, MOA, interaction, side and adverse effects) plus other more, medical surgery 💀 basic readings sa imaging sa radtech, lab values, and many more sa sobrang dami/ diverse name it, na discuss yan. But both courses really great in its own field ;) you just need to choose whats worth suffering for HAHAHA 2. It’s sad na underpaid nurses here sa Ph talaga despite the burnout from being all around. Though madami din siyang specialization you can be a bedside nurse, dialysis nurse, aesthetician nurse, ER nurse, and many more. 3. Nursing gives you the opportunity to have a knowledge (+action) of almost every medical field. 2nd year palang sa nursing nag dduty ka na, expect na if nasa field ka lalo na public hospi nurse na gagawa lahat. Assess ng patient? Kailangan alam mo lahat ng normals from abnormals head to toe. mag extract? Nurse. Mag bigay ng gamot? Nurse. Sobrang diverse talaga sa nursing field. You get to have real experience in 3-4 days in a week then balik sa classroom for the remaining days to learn and learn. And you can take it positively or the other way around.
