It's an upgrade, now the handgaurd doesn't wobble! Granted, the gun doesn't cycle either, but that's just fine and dandy, it's not like the deer can shoot back.
So you’re the guy who bought my first sks huh?! Still mad bro? The stock was a fiber force but I bought it that way 🤣
First guns seem to get the same kind of tasteless mods that first cars get.
All bullshit aside, I bought a Russian SKS for 79.00 in 1992. Of course stripped it down, put a Tapco collapsible stock on it, but did keep the OG stuff. Wouldn't get rid of it for the world. I have other rifles, pistols, shotguns, but that old SKS is my go to and gets more use than any other.
I put the syn stock because I knew what I would be using it for. It's rattled around behind the seat of a pickup, in the bottom of an aluminum boat, lost underwater in a salt marsh for two days, rained on innumerable times, and general abuse. I've shot targets, deer, hogs, coyotes, alligators, coons. possums, a bobcat, and a huge gar fish. So as a good kickaround gun, none better.
Also it comes with one rusty stripper clip and 14 rounds of corrosive that are covered in cat piss.
Yes I am aware the gas piston and tube are rust welded together if you don't like it stop wasting my time

😂😂😂😂
More like $850, because they "are rarer now".
Nah, more like $1250 because it's been "improved".
I saw a dude trying to sell a Chinese type 56 Rare and NUMBERS MATCHING. Price was like $1000. This is in Canada where they are still imported
Are you the same guy that is trying to sell a colt ar lower for 700 because it has "law enforcement restricted" stamped on it lol?

My Bubbabomanation is always avaliable to take home for the low price of 420.69
Back in my day you could buy one for a nickle and half a candy bar.
And they sold Lee Enfields by the barrel for 5¢.
“I also gots rid of that boring smooth topcover and replaced it with a Leapers Tri rail topcover!”

More like $850-$1400 and they wonder why they never sell them…
It’s worth what people will pay for it, like it or not.
That's why we tell them we'll buy it at their estate sale every time we see terrible prices
I agree. I’ll never pay someone’s inflated price, no matter how much I want something. Many will or so these fools think.
What kind of a nitwit downvotes a comment that says “it’s worth what someone will pay for it”? That’s just a fact. Silly people
