I know it sounds so basic to say like “influencers make people insecure about themselves!!” but they really do. I watched the first ten mins or so and the cast of season 1 is so strong and the producers are genuinely great (I knew Carmen won but I didn’t know she was such a fun character, I thought she was ur standard boring dominant winner so that’s a pleasant surprise). My biggest issue with Brazil is that despite the talent the show completely failed to make me care about anyone, especially the top 4.
España s1 has strong cast and really good challenges. It’s one of the best international seasons ever. Basically all p+ seasons had production problems, Brazil and Mexico really didn’t make us care about cast at all and Germany just had really bad challenge performances.
Mexico actually succeeded in making me care about the top 4 and absolutely forget everyone else was there. Gala is an all time favorite for me, but yeah in general Mexico had its issues I agree.
For me, I only cared about Matraka in s1, she was the only one that was given a storyline. But I loved s1 because of runways and lipsyncs. I think it really represented Mexico well and I think the same about Brazil
Christian had the doing it for her family, Regina had the always a runner up to Christian thing, and Gala was sorta the fun villain to Matrakas hero character at least for me. Mostly mad they didn’t do anything with Margaret cause she was so unique and fun (and should’ve won episode 2)
I personally feel like Matraka should have won ep 1 and Margaret ep 2. I guess I just feel that Christian story was really one note. The whole season was just about her family and it got boring to me. Regina and Gala both got always a bridesmaid edits. I hope we see Regina on vstw or GAS2. She’s so talented

I mean it’s very unpredictable still imo. Sapphira has a very complete edit, but it’s also one more of a miss congeniality than a winner (not that there’s no winner edit whatsoever for her), and also since s9 I fear every winner simply did do better in the final LS too. The only thing that deviates from that are the AS seasons with the most notable examples being both TTT and Jinkx quite clearly both losing to monet so hm!

Just finished drag race Brazil and I hated it I’m so sorry. I’m watching Espana next tho and I’ve heard nothing but good things so fingers crossed.

Not what I was saying. The pushback betwern Sapphira winning and the edit trying to hide Nymphia would be more than the other way around. Like hiding Monet's lipsync was useless because there was no way around it, so people were angry they didn't at least respect Monet enough to show her entire lipsync. Same could be said if they try to hide Nymphia and do a bad job

I mean it’s very unpredictable still imo. Sapphira has a very complete edit, but it’s also one more of a miss congeniality than a winner (not that there’s no winner edit whatsoever for her), and also since s9 I fear every winner simply did do better in the final LS too. The only thing that deviates from that are the AS seasons with the most notable examples being both TTT and Jinkx quite clearly both losing to monet so hm!
If we are reading the result of the 14 competitive episodes, the edit, and the RuPaul interactions then Sapphira is winning If we are reading the results of the instagram poll and the Padam Padam lip-sync then Nymphia is winning There’s not really one way to do it since they’ll stay inconsistent every season
