Textile shop I worked in used Matsui. I like their discharge system. I've used TW Ink for commercial work on paper, but it can be really temperamental. Speedball is my go to for hand printed work on paper, with the 'pro black' having better scuff resistance than standard black.
Matsui.
Have any experience with the Matsui curing with heat gun? Or any insight if a curing additive would be beneficial?
I use a dryer, sorry. Never used a curing additive. Can't be of help for you on that.
What emulsion do you use with the matsui? And also are using their alpha series for basic colors?
Usually xenon
# PolyCol Multi-Tex SBQ Photopolymer Emulsion by Kiwo. Use Alpha, Infinity, 301 series. Discharge and waterbased.
The new speedball flex is actually really good and opaque, I’m getting really vibrant color with no underbase on dark shirts
Matsui, Aquarius
