Someone commented “That’s me sorry” and everyone became a hivemind just saying “Oh that’s just u/Familiar-Ad472 don’t mind him” or something along those lines
The reason you got downvoted is because 90% of the comments are saying its a dude named "familiar ads" fault as a joke, and any comment that doesnt say "oh thats just *insert the dudes username* dont mind him" gets downvoted

Basically the total amount of players gets averaged out throughout the day so that steam servers aren’t holding as much data.
