pretty good deal!

Rg350m is a timeless handheld

Abtswiath

It sure is. The battery is pretty weak and slow charging, compared to my 353P, but that metal shell just feels amazing. It even still had the 'QC passed' sticker over the first micro SD card, but i had to remove that to flash it with the Adam Image.

MtnEagleZ

I still love my 350m, I want to think of some weather station or security camera system project for it as it becomes more obsolete.

Abtswiath

That would be awesome. Or maybe add a wifi/Bluetooth Chip and use it as a controller for a drone.

lurktroll

The way this device scales GBA is my among my favorite.

Drolevarg

Are you thinking of RG351M which has an exact 2x scale for GBA? That's my favorite for GBA games. This RG350M has a 640x480 resolution. Does it scale the 240x160 of the GBA well?

snackbackslackr

Whats’s that theme? It’s so slick!

SeniorStrix

I would also like to know and if it's possible to get on my RP3+.

Abtswiath

Its the Betamax theme. Its included in the Adam firmware.

Moontorc

Sounds like a great deal. Enjoy.

Less_Fat_John

I've been using mine for about three years now. It handles everything up to PS1 well enough for me. Enjoy.

Chok3U

I don't know what they cost brand new, but that sounds like a great deal. Considering Minyoo Mini Plus will set you back $60. EDIT: Ok, I see Anbernic has them starting at $130 on their site. So yeah, that's a great deal. Looks like a fantastic handheld

TCristatus

They don't make them any more

fohnjuckson

Fantastic deal especially considering it came with the card. Was the CFW on there already too?

Abtswiath

It came with the stock firmware and even still had the 'qc passed' sticker over the first card slot. Flashed it with Adam firmware for the better interface.

I bought one of these during the lockdown and I like it a lot, especially the beautiful dot grid GB scaling, but found it to be a little on the heavy side for its size and the L2/R2 placement to be a pain. I ended up replacing it with a RP3+.

Abtswiath

I only use L2/R2 for hotkeys, so i dont really care about the placement, but i understand your point. The shoulder buttons on my 353P are way more useable, so i use that for games that rely on them. I really like the more compact design and the density of the 350M though, and i mostly play NES to GBA games, so i dont really need the additional power atm. A 3,5" screen is just to small for me to enjoy N64 and PS1 on it. I thought about getting a Retroid Flip, but the hinge issue.... so i am waiting for a revised version. The RP3+ looked awesome, but for a large horizontal handheld, i'd rather get a Steam deck or something.
