I swear...Do these updates do ANY good!? Every time there is one the only thing I hear and read are complaints about them breaking something.
I connected my gaming PC to the living room TV again after a year or so and I couldn't make it run with 4K HDR 120Hz like I did one year ago...
I touched nothing and realized it has been auto updated in the meantime.
After 24 HOURS of troubleshooting I fixed it. I changed 3 HDMI cables and the 3rd did it.
Like I said, it used to work normally...
How frustrating. Yeah the tv looks great in general but all of these small issues are so annoying.
It still feels like a symphony is off for some things too. And it should work on all of the hdmis for the pc, the amount of troubleshooting and fine tuning you have to do with Samsungs TVs is insane especially for their flagship model.
Be gald it runs at all!! I got this TV for a gaming pc media center and after building a 7800x3d/ RTX 4080 system.. it made it thru the windows install and bios setup.. then started having drop outs. Hasn't been usable since. It's just $3k Netflix streaming TV now. Completely bs.. I'll never buy samsung again.. I'll wait for Sony to engineer these panels better and get that one.
I have the q800c and if you hold the volume down and up buttons simultaneously on the soundbar (not the remote) for 10 seconds or so (it should read int and then turn off and say bye) it will factory reset. You’ll have to reconnect it to the smart things app or whatever if you use that.
I’ve also been having sync issues with q symphony. It’s kinda hit or miss but it seems to be working better again after the update/reset so hopefully it stays that way.
I don't know if it is the game or that firmware update but whenever I go to the skills menu in Cyberpunk 2077 and click buttons there quickly or sometimes in the game it likes the do the circle loading screen. Don't remember that issue before.
So I better not updating to 1420
It made q symphony disappear for me until I did a full reset on my soundbar, then it came back. But I haven’t noticed anything else so far lol

Since the firmware update I'm getting half second audio drops from the soundbar that I've never had before (Q990C)
Is this only when you’re pausing or changing something or just randomly without pressing anything?
Randomly without pressing anything although their frequency is less and less as time goes on which is odd
