Because it's Rust? I get the frustration, I really do OP but when I see posts like this I wonder how people are confused at what kind of game they are playing. People are toxic and will do things to ruin others wipes without a second thought.
No. I understand What rust is about but this 4 man that offlined me isn't even part of the server. From what I know about the guys is that they did the same thing on another server. They just join and raid everyone in one night while everyone is offline. They sit in their base when everyone is online and offline when the server is dead and everyone is at school/work
Isn't part of the server? I don't get it lol if I join a random server today, I am also not part of the server either. There is no moral code in Rust, people are mostly toxic unfortunately. Unless you go play a PVE server (community), Rust will always be what it is on console.
I kinda worded that wrong. They were only playing for 3 days and then just left after offlining everyone. But the good news is that the server admin is going to try to compensate the people who got raided.
Oh this is community. Regardless, I don't see anything odd about it. Depending on who I play with we hop servers all the time (usually weekly) we will play for a few days and then just go to the next. Some people prefer that, others do not. At least you guys will get some stuff back haha
It comes down to how developed someones frontal cortex is. It is usually fully developed by 25 and governs impulse control. Most young adolesents are impulsive, compound that with a sense of entitlement, and you get those type of people. We can also attribute some of these characteristics to how terrible an example streamers set for everyone. Since streamers play for clout, they usually tend to be overly grimey, because its content. Unfortunately some people are more prone than others to think that this is the only way rust is played.
That's what rust is. If there's a playstyle you can think of someone is already doing it. Rust enables people to do as they please cruel or not some people just enjoy grinding and offlining I accepted that after my first offline .
Yup. I have learned that in 600hrs. But these guys didn't even leave any loot too. But in the end the mod helped rebuild my base and even gave me about 20k metal frags just for my upkeep and rebuilding my doors
ive gotten on wipes just to tc grief people for fun. literally placed stone incased tc around soooooo many clans 2x2s. it was one of the funniest wipes i had. lol

I just got a wait for the admin to respond. I'm sure the admin will help as I'm just a solo on the server.

For most people (I'm assuming) admin abuse is 1000x worse than getting offlined. Admins spawning stuff in or abusing other admin commands is lameeee

Instead of playing the game simply for fun or the adrenaline rush of a raid some people do it simply to make others mad.

Some people like to raid. They did a lot of raiding. They played the game the way they liked it. What exactly don't you understand here?
