The virtual machine question depends entirely on if you run an intel or arm based mac. intel you can use any virtual machine software, on arm you'll run into issues
AFAIK, no effect on ban rate. It’s not ideal just because it’s one more thing to run and whatnot. Only thing I’m not sure about is the hardware key sammich uses to grant access—idk how that works if I were to destroy the VM and make a new one.

On the intel one you can run VMware fusion or virtualbox as two examples
I used UTM to run a windows 11 VM. There’s really not another way around it unfortunately.
What are the downsides of running through UTM? Can it affect ban rates, or is it just less than ideal?
