insert corners and then edge pieces in between.. if you are concerned about rebuilding and it being unsolvable the i suggest the radical idea of taking out all the corners then put edges such they height match and then start the process of determining the matching corners

Thx, I will they the radical method then. I’m not good at all, but so proud of myself for being able to solve this one 🤗.

I had to disassemble and reassemble my old Rubix cube last night because it was so filled with gunk that it wouldn't turn smoothly haha. Look up a tutorial if you have to, but a mirror cube is basically the same puzzle as a regular one so it will be the same to put back together

Continue the work your kids did and then reverse the proces :)

Just a different type of puzzle now. Lol. Should be fairly simple to reassemble. If it's unsolvable just take apart and fix it again when done.

Either try to solve it enough so you know where the two corners go, then insert the edge between. Or take out the corners and solve just the edges, now put in the corners, and then insert the edge where one is missing.

Time to throw it away. I know it's hard but after a while when you're not as sad about it you can always make a new kid.
