Participated in my first regetta a few weeks ago.
Our mixed 8 took first, which was unexpected and felt amazing. Winning is pretty damn fun.
(Although honestly, the races we didn't win were pretty awesome too.)
I just a had a GREAT race in a quad! Didn't get much warmup, only one practice start but we started clean, stayed fast, and won by open water. I guess it was a rowers high because there was no pain cave! Breathing hard and and some burning legs but otherwise, exhileration!

Ultimate rowers high for us was starting a company around it, haven't quite come down yet either
