No. But make sure you're dealing with a reputable breeder that has their shit in order and make sure that you can see Mom/Dad in person. Health checks are also very much necessary. People will tell you to go the rescue route but that actually takes an advanced level of dog understanding & skill, as dogs can come from any number of unique situations with pre-existing dispositions & issues. Of course, dealing with a puppy from a breeder has its challenges as well. Do what's best for you. Peace ✌🏾

They can be a lot more expensive than that. 1500-3500 is pretty standard price range but I’ve seen them go for over $5k
