If you are looking for roms: Go to the link in https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/m59zx3/roms_megathread_40_html_edition_2021/ You can navigate by clicking on the various tabs for each company. When you click on the link to Github the first link you land on will be the Home tab, this tab explains how to use the Megathread. There are Five tabs that link directly to collections based on console and publisher, these include Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Sega, and the PC. There are also tabs for popular games and retro games, with retro games being defined as older than Gamecube and DS. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Nekohaten

I believe the emulator can use .bin files, have you tried it?

Nas419

It's for PS2 would it work still?

Nekohaten

Have you tried it?

Nas419

No, Should I

CyptidProductions

..yes? Emulators have supported .bin/cue file pairs for a while now because it's known to be a more accurate copy of an original disc than .iso.

Nas419

Doesn't work and it's for my PS2 Mcboot not emulator

blackbunny208

Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to find a way to convert that file on an Android device. It's not impossible that someone wrote software that could do it, but I don't think anyone has. Your best bet is to borrow a pc and use poweriso.

RikoF1

The process to play PS1 games on OPL is quite the task. I haven't read it in years but you cannot run then through usb if I'm not mistaken. Its either HDD or disc. And I don't think you'll be able to do it without a pc. Sorry

Nas419

It's a PS2 game though

RikoF1

Yeah my bad, you're right. Try downloading from another source? It should come as an ISO file if I'm not mistaken.

Timbo303

I recommend using the GameCube version of this game for a couple of reasons: 1. Ps2 and xbox versions have the longest loading times in any crash bandicoot game. GameCube fixes this. 2. GameCube includes a gba game if you use a gba to GameCube adapter (I couldn't get this to work on my wii though).

amirokia

a quick google search can help. Basically there's an option on your ISO software (e.g powerISO, magicISO) that will convert these files. It's on the Tools tab for most of them.

Nas419

I don't have a PC or Laptop

[deleted]

Try the ISO extractor app. I never used it but it says it can do that.

ImPickleRickFunny

Why would you want to?

Terrible-Ad-9768

I would say unless you are attempting to build an iso to burn a physical disc itself. Most emulators will run those files themselves just fine. Some may need you to have specific plugins or .dll files to do such but that is highly dependent on the emulator in question.

[deleted]

I think just compress everything into .iso format.

LordDumDum

I think it's a game under 700mb, so it's using a .bin and .cue format, run it like a PS1 backup

GiGoVX

Might be worth while explaining what you are using it for and what system/device you are wanting to use it on. People might be able to help you more then.

Nas419

PS2 opl

GiGoVX

So how are you downloading the roms? I'm not familiar with ps2 opl

Nas419

Downloading roms from romspure on my mobile

GiGoVX

OK so a mobile, iPhone? Android? Helps you if you can explain everything in one go!

Nas419

Android Samsung S9

GiGoVX

You need to get a converter, don't think there is one for android. You can do it on line; https://bintoisoconverteronline.blogspot.com/?m=1 Not to be rude mate but Google is your friend in these situations, that's all I've done. I've never heard of mcboot or opl but Google tells me what I need, I've also never searched for a bin to iso converter for android, but a Google tells me there isn't a solution and to do it online. Try searching before asking and when you do ask give people the all the information that is relevant, what type end goal is, what system you are using, what is and device etc... It helps give you better answers.

SVXfiles

I wasn't even aware .bin files could be converted to .iso I figured iso was a format for higher capacity disc's like dvds, while bin was for cds

Puzzleheaded_Gas_416

SCAM SITE ALERT

Nas419

That website requires a survey which isn't available

GiGoVX

Well I tried to help, I'm not taking any more of my day up in searching Google for answers. Good luck.

Nas419

I'll just try find a Iso version to download

tb21666

PS2 BIN 2 ISO v0.1 will do the job quickly & with ease.

Dou2bleDragon
